If you have that capability to control yourself and you know yourself well in terms of placing good limit with your gambling activity, the chance that you can enjoy and be discreet is possible, it's more on how you want yourself being protected from different criticism and allow things to take place while no one knows what you are doing behind your room or within your capable device to connect to any online gambling site.

Just doing it discreetly and away to anything that may cause a bad impression on you, there are many people around that will keep judging you once they learn that you have any relative engagement with gambling.

It's your take though, whether to be open or keep it as secret as possible, as it's your money to use and to take care of.
Unfortunately there are many people out there that are only looking for what they can dig out of you to talk behind your back and spread all kind of rumors against you, and it is key to identify those people as early as possible and expose nothing to them, as those people love to incite all kind of conflicts and then argue that they were doing it for your own good, which is completely ridiculous as they are treating you as if you could not decide on your own what is best for you.

Yeah, there are people who keep minding other's business and not just to focus with their own business, they will find ways to dig deep into your personal life and will try to create rumor with how you handle things, even you are not that addicted and you are just enjoying but in their mindsets they think that you are already dealing with some issue with your habits.

Keep in mind that you can escape from people who think that they are better than you, but everything is on you. What you do will reflect on how you handle the situation and how comfortable you are.
it's always the same, isn't it? People, people, people, always poking their noses where they don't belong, not leaving you alone. People constantly trying to create a fake stories about your life as if they understand your habits better than you. It's infuriating and exhausting, dealing with such nonsense from these dumbass who think they're so much better.

But you're absolutely right. Everything is on you. Your actions, your responses to their pitiful rumors, and your comfort level in handling the situation, it's all in your hands. Make sure to show them they're wrong. Show them your strength in responsible gambling and fun gambling, in enjoying without addiction, and in managing situations without losing control. Shut their rumors down. Remember, our life, our rules. They can think whatever they want to think, but we know the truth. Tongue Tongue Tongue
2  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Youth Gambling on: September 28, 2023, 06:11:23 PM
It is true that the pervasive networks of sports betting and online gambling have hooked many young people nowadays. I don't think anyone can dispute the attraction of gambling, especially for young souls. Gambling disorders leave a lifelong mark on people, making it hard for them to imagine and plan for the future and keeping them from finishing school. The young, who are still figuring out their futures, are taken from their routes and placed in an impossible-to-exit maze.

There is a clear distinction between responsible and enjoyable gambling that can be made. Instead than letting the wind throw you around, you must tightly hold onto the ropes. It's a fine line, but one must walk it, draw it, and maintain stability. It's a difficult but logical decision. A one misstep and it's a wild fall.  Sad  Sad
3  Economy / Economics / Re: You can't meet all your needs/desires at once, even if you spend all your salary on: September 28, 2023, 05:31:09 PM
Every year there are new phones and if we fuel our wants always then we have tons of phones and it would be useless as we ain't using them or worse you wouldn't have any savings at all.
I think everyone needs to choose between a lifestyle that meets their daily needs and one that continues to be used in the long term and this applies to everyone. Be it rich people or poor people, because when someone always prioritizes their lifestyle every year by continuing to follow updates on expensive goods that can give them a luxurious lifestyle. One day that person will also be poor if he doesn't care about his income because he feels he is rich and won't fall into poverty again, whereas a poor person would be very silly if he followed this, especially if the poor person doesn't have any savings.
Ensuring that you live the everyday that fits how much you are getting from your annual income, as well as making sure that also means being able to save up, is a must in toady's time. No one should expect to achieve financial stability while living the lifestyle that doesn't financially fit them. I know and have seen a lot of people who had to deal with the consequences such action and decision brings, they soon realized how big of a loss they are doing and how it is affecting their future negatively. On contrast, I also know a lot of people who was able to establish a good financial life by doing the complete opposite, they made sure that they are only buying what they need, ensuring that they are able to make investments and save up some money as well. They still of course enjoy luxury goods sometimes, but too much to the point that they need to touch their savings for it. I think we all need to learn to do that, no matter how tempting it is to live a luxurious flashy life.
Isn't this the classic story of people being carried away by their wants and needs until it's too late? It's absurd how many people, when it comes to money, don't understand how simple it is to live within your means. I have witnessed countless, yes countless, people try to maintain a lifestyle that is beyond of their reach only to fail under the weight of their own bad choices. Don't they get it? Simple math. If you're earning X amount, don't spend Y amount where Y > X. Nothing too complicated there. It's absurd!

There are, of course, smart people who are good at managing their money and making sure they have enough for investments, savings, and an occasional luxury purchase. Congratulations on mastering the basic art of spending less than earning. Give it a round of applause, please.

Wake up, everyone lured by luxury. Being wealthy is a serious matter, and living over your means? A guaranteed path to disaster. Learn from your own kind's mistakes and put the basics into practice. Is it really that hard?  Embarrassed Embarrassed
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Banking scams ...How are Bitcoin better? on: September 28, 2023, 04:49:33 PM
Yes, of course! The "improved" banking services are really just a hiding place for security holes. Although they say it's user-friendly, I think it's more scammer-friendly. Contactless card payments? More like an infinite number of ways for thieves to tap, tap, tap away your money without any problems. These scumbags who skim, copy, and tap are outrageously brazen. While typing your PIN, you are unaware of the eyes watching every move and the sly pinhole cameras.

And you are totally right. There are a lot of criminals on the internet. The “convenient” banking apps, are they truly convenient or just conveniently making you the perfect, exposed target? All of this is a big, bad movement of lying and stealing.

Could bitcoin be the one who saves us forever? But then again, how much can we trust Bitcoin? Can it hold up against these bad guys? Can it promise us simple, easy transfers while also making the walls stronger against these leeches? Only we can save ourselves. Roll Eyes Roll Eyes
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is cryptocurrency illegal in some countries? on: September 28, 2023, 04:14:18 PM
Yes, nations that want to outlaw something usually use criminal activity and instability as justifications. People always forget to talk about how cryptocurrencies, like Bitcoin, give people power by making it easy to send money without banks taking a cut. A spike in prices? Another bad guy that steals the worth of your money without you even noticing. Bitcoin, on the other hand, act like heroes and protect us from the teeth of inflation. While traditional currencies print, devalue, and inflate, bitcoin have a 'no more' cap that controls inflation. The globe laments energy consumption and instability, but they overlook the independence, self-sufficiency, and inflation hedge that cryptocurrency affords. It never talks about the good things, only the bad. This is a one-sided, biased discussion that is rife with hypocrisy and lack of vision  Angry Angry

7  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling should be play with care on: September 25, 2023, 06:10:22 PM
It depends, most forms of entertainment have a cost associated with it, and while in the case of some of them the cost is very low, some other forms of entertainment are a little more expensive, but there is nothing wrong with enjoying them as long as you do so with moderation, and gambling is a good example of this, as a responsible gambler can spend a moderate amount of money to get their thrill, while an irresponsible one can spend the majority of it and obtain absolutely nothing in return.

Some other hobbies are way more expensive than gambling but they don't often fall into addiction because they know how to handle it with care like collectors of antics and other similar hobbies. but when it comes to gambling, there are lots of people who fall into addiction because of the variety of choices whether you want to play small of money or a big amount of money. Also, there are lots of games that they play even in the elections, they will gamble on who's gonna win. that's why it's hard to resist once you are hooked up to it because gambling is all around the corner and the people that are addicted to it are all around the world as well.

Agreed, in fact there are other hobbies that are more expensive than gambling, in that they are not addicted but I don't think it's entirely because they have good control, because on average there is no risk of addiction there, so maybe they will spend a lot of money but only once, and obviously that is different from gambling which continues to spend money to find victory but eventually lose again.

Gambling gives them many choices and in each choice there will certainly always be enough curiosity or even high depending on their intentions that come, right usually that is always what makes them finally addicted, because of the uncertain chances of winning that cause them addiction. Honestly, the temptation in gambling is very difficult to resist, because it is difficult to predict so someone always thinks that they can be one of the lucky ones out of ten people who play, but the final result says no.
Other hobbies, they might cost a ton, but they don’t have that pull, that allure that gambling has, right? It’s that endless cycle, that hope against hope that you might just win this time that keeps you coming back for more. It’s not just about the money, it’s about the chase, the pursuit of that elusive win. It's the choices, the many, many choices that keep you on your toes, keep you guessing, keep you hoping. But let’s not kid ourselves, the house always, always wins. It’s a hard pill to swallow, but it’s the truth, the harsh truth. You might think you’re the lucky one, but in the end, gambling doesn’t play fair. It never does  Tongue Tongue
8  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling game is not good and everyone should stay away from it on: September 25, 2023, 05:38:12 PM
So, there isnt much secret about gambling. I read your point of view, and it's full of shades of relativity. Its a tribute to the person's ability to stay in control despite all the exciting bets and risks. But I'll be honest and say this: Every time, the house wins. This is not negative ; it's an obvious fact.

Entertaining can trick even the strongest people into losing everything. The reality is that you have zero control in a game of chance. Some people find their way through the maze with the help of self-control, but how many get lost in the addiction?

Still, I cant deny all the fun, the way my heart races when I think about whats to come. Its human. But lets not hide the truth behind our own opinions. If your mind is not strong enough, maybe gambling is not for you

Although it is very difficult for a person to maintain discipline and control theirself while gambling it is definitely something that is under the person's control. Although this is a very difficult thing to achieve but when I think about myself I know that I can achieve it so I stated that many individuals can do this if they gamble in a disciplined manner. Whether it is entertainment or profit-oriented, just as you stated, every time the house wins. This is not negative ; it's an obvious fact.

Someone who has a certain budget for gambling for entertainment can bet or play with the entire amount or a large part of the budget in line with this budget and in this way they can feel how his heartbeat increases during an exciting process. Therefore, it isn't necessary to be addicted to gambling to get this excitement. However, if an addicted person plays a single game or bet with all their capital, there is a risk of losing all their money so this person will feel more adrenaline and therefore will be included in the addicted group.

It is also observed that people can succumb to their emotions, ambitions and feelings in some situations. In other words, an individual who isn't addicted to betting has the possibility of losing all their money with a momentary decision. Of course, it would be a big mistake to say that this person becomes addicted to gambling as a result of a single mistake but it should not be forgotten that this individual may also become addicted to gambling if there is continuity.

In short, I continue to maintain that gambling can be used recreationally as long as we do not make mistakes by succumbing to the level of addiction or our emotions. It is possible to respond positively or negatively with various perspectives and perspectives.
When it comes to gambling, self-control is incredibly difficult yet absolutely necessary. This is a topic that may not appeal to everyone: strict self-control. The thing is, though... It's possible if you have the will and the brains for it. The house? And they never stop beaming up there because, well, they do win every time. However, that is how they work

Yes, you can have adrenaline without developing an addiction. What I mean is, have you ever felt your heart race with excitement or thrill? Even if you're just doing it for fun, you'll have to go through all of that. However, there is a delicate balance between entertainment and dependency. If you make a single mistake, you'll be well into the danger zone. Emotions? We must remember that we're not machines. Our feelings can either be our greatest strength or our greatest weakness. The way things go, basically. And just one slip-up? Even if it doesn't make you an addict, it can be the start of a very dangerous downward spiral if you're not careful.

Yes, buddy, you nailed it. If you're confident in your abilities and don't let gambling consume you, it can be a lot of fun. Just be cautious and sensible.  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes
9  Economy / Economics / Re: How to reduce the price of goods on: September 25, 2023, 05:04:01 PM
Although supply and demand are the two factors that ultimately influence the standing of the price of goods in each area/country, there is another big factor that we should always be on the lookout and that is individuals who have the money and influence to manipulate the market. Market manipulation happens all the time and everywhere (in fact there is a more thorough discussion about this in a different post if you want more insights about it:https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5465009.0). Additionally, market manipulation can be done by different individuals or organizations such as big companies, wealthy and influential business individuals, and the government. Naturally, the main reason why they do so is due to the benefits market manipulation gives to them such as a rise in profit and sales. As to how we will be able to reduce the price of goods, the answer might lie on the government as they have a good hold on market manipulation.
Supply and demand? They play a big influence, but what about the hidden affluent and powerful market manipulators? It must be considered. Major corporations, affluent individuals, and governments are involved. They continually and everywhere distort the market for personal gain. They care little about the common guy and focus on money and sales.

How to lower product prices? Here, government engagement is crucial. But can we trust them fully? Despite their control, they often have different objectives and agendas than the public. The situation won't change immediately. Keeping up with industry trends, plans, and updates is vital. It requires exposing and rejecting exploitation and working toward openness and justice. Though long, the path ahead is right.  Wink Wink
10  Economy / Economics / Re: 0-Dated Options Trading vs. Gambling: Which Packs More Thrill? on: September 25, 2023, 04:24:47 PM
Isn't it happening in finance behind the scenes? Trading zero-dated options and regular gaming are both intriguing fields. Trading 0-dated options is all-or-nothing, right? You can get rich or impoverished with every tick or second of the game.

Then gambling - the wonderful, uncertain excitement of betting on a horse, spinning the roulette wheel, or laying the cards. It's unplanned and honest. You are right when say it as a free-form, adrenaline-filled environment that is ungoverned by anything.

However, these two areas differ unheard. Trading makes you feel in control and like research and analysis might help you. Gambling is a plunge into the unknown. Isn't that the fun? In the abyss? The world has always been curious about the unknown. Gambling's excitement is not knowing what will happen, but many people choose it anyway. It's not for the weak, but who wants to be weak in a fun and exciting world? What poison is yours? Do you like the steady rush of trading, or the unpredictable excitement of gambling? 11  Economy / Economics / Re: Small Scale Business Ideas on: September 25, 2023, 03:48:12 PM
On this board I often see a lot of discussions related to investment and finance which tend to be large scale. However, to start investing we need capital. How do you find capital for investment?

Let's talk about small scale businesses that have low risks and promising profits so that we can have capital to invest and become passive income in the future.

Do you have a small business idea? or business experience? I want to hear it
There is no end to discussing business, it all depends on your passion and what opportunities you can really make good use of.  usually a low risk business is a business that is always needed by people, such as agriculture and animal husbandry, in my city there is a young entrepreneur who is quite respected, the business he is involved in is hydropnic plants (i don't really understand this) but he said in the capital spent is very small but the profit can be 5x - 7x.
You can also try to do research in the area around you about what is really needed or will be really needed by many people around you and you have to be able to execute it quickly because it's definitely not the only one who sees that opportunity.
Business is an ongoing dialogue that comes down to passion and finding the proper opportunity. You must grasp what you can, when you can. Low risk? Agriculture and animal husbandry are always needed. Everyone must eat, right? We shouldn't forget crypto. Bitcoin revolutionizes commerce. We should pay attention to your city's young entrepreneur. Hydroponic plants making 5x-7x profit? Incredible. Research is crucial. Know what's happening and what people want, then deliver. Fast. Worlds change and move constantly. Be first, fastest. What about gambling? It always offers fun, right? Why not if it's controlled and fun? Have fun, take a chance. Continue pushing limits and creating chances.  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes
12  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Typical scenario when you are losing on: September 23, 2023, 04:20:54 PM

Everyone can imagine why someone would hit the slot machines in a casino - the player might not get the image needed to complete the combination. And the big win passed him by. This way you can get into financial problems almost simply due to your stupidity and imbalance.
But slot machines are the property of the casino, and if you break them, you can let off steam, but then you will have to pay a huge amount for them. And in casinos there are always cameras, and it will be easy to find a rowdy person, so this is a very bad way to calm down or try to influence the situation. Therefore, it is better to leave the casino and give free rein to your emotions and feelings.
The casino is a very emotional place, and there you can lose everything what you’ve earned in your life, or get a "life change".
Hitting slot machines? It's completely insane (and fun too). You're not risk yourself; you're also making matters far worse. Casinos are not only passive . Every move and every second is recorded by cameras. Do you believe that you can smash their property and get away with it? lol

Responsible gaming is more than just a word; it's just important. Knowing where to draw the line is important. The excitement, the rush, and the high are all intrinsic to the game. But it should continue to be treated as a game. A pastime, not an obsession that destroys your life. Tossing away all of your accomplishments at random? Devastating. For what purpose? A "life change" that is more frequently a negative spiral than a real benefit? A waste of time.

Still, when done responsibly and in moderation, gambling can be a fun way to kill time. But you should always be mindful of the dangers. Step back, take a breather, and if it stops being fun, just walk away.  Tongue Tongue
13  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting significant amount on: September 23, 2023, 03:26:10 PM
It is something I had considered to do sometime in the future, since I mostly try to make my budget to last as much as possible and have a relatively "small thrill" gambling hour.

Though, I would like to do that if I am celebrating with friends a special occasion or during a travel to an exotic place, etc. It would me more interesting than doing it from the computer, in my opinion.

At least, you are fully aware your high risks moves are supposed to be about thrill and not entirely for the sake of profit.

Obviously you have to make full considerations before finally making the decision to bet with a large amount, is this the best way to speed up the chances of winning? I say not entirely, even if you for example change the budget to be bigger but still it will not have an effect, and maybe it will only make you enjoy gambling longer because your budget is large and it is like making you have many lives before finally losing. And well like I said it will not affect completely, gambling is only one and nothing more than luck, although you may have good skills but still maybe it affects only a few percent. Choosing a little thrill is better than more defeat, and of course that is the end that is always the starting point of some who experience addiction.

That's right, this activity should only be for fun, not more than that if you don't want it to end badly. Gambling is a very high-risk activity, and I hope all new gamblers understand this. if they really want to find entertainment then they shouldn't also increase their budget, nothing else in my opinion is their wrong assumption to increase the chances of profit.
Many bettors bet more and think that it will magically increase their chances of winning. No matter what, gambling is still a game of luck. Betting bigger may bring short-term excitement, but inevitably leads to bigger losses and regret.

When viewed through the perspective of responsibility, gambling should always be treated as just that: a distraction, a casual journey into the world of risk taken just for the sake of entertainment. It's not a solid wealth strategy. All those new gamblers with dollar signs need a reality check. Budget increases don't increase profit; they increase pain, sorrow.

Gambling should remain a game, as you say. It should never become a lifeline or path to success. Those entering this high-risk field must act properly. There is a lot more to life than the deceptive belief of get rich quick.  Tongue Tongue
14  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading Psychology and tips on: September 23, 2023, 02:42:00 PM
What I'm about to say is something not everyone might agree with, but hear me out. The concepts of 'Greed and Fear' are evolutionary leftovers, nearly primitive. Many has prospered or failed for millennia depending on how these factors are balanced by them .

Look at how resource management was done in old societies. It was a mix of careful planning and quick decisions. Your "Greed" comes from a desire to gather resources, while your "Fear" comes from a natural need to protect. In trading, you have to be aware of these instincts and change them to fit the current world.

Risk management isn't just about cutting losses; it's about understanding patterns, similar to the way many businessman have risen and fallen based on their management of environmental challenges. In the crypto world, that environment is the market. If you're not adapting, you're perishing.

Societies have always moved based on collective decisions, shared knowledge, and reactions. The market? It's not different. Your trading strategies should be dynamic, keeping an ear to the ground, sensing the undercurrents of the global collective of traders.

The internet is a mess. It's like the invention of farming - it could lead to prosperity or utter collapse if not managed right. Filter the noise, focus on the essentials, and use that accumulated knowledge to your advantage.

Financial crisis have been lessons for future generations. Similarly, every loss in trading is a stepping stone. Analyze, refine, and move forward.  Grin Grin
15  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Let's share some tips among ourselves. on: September 23, 2023, 01:55:53 PM
Although the reasons you've listed are important, they just scratch the surface. I like to look at the broad picture, so I have a few methods for you to consider:

Historical Trends and Cycles: If you've ever read "Guns, Germs, and Steel" , you'll understand how historical trends frequently return. The market for cryptocurrencies, particularly Bitcoin, is not excluded. You can predict likely future moves by looking at historical trends.

External Stimuli: Eenvironmental influences were crucial in the evolution of society, and the same is true here. Beware of laws or world events that may have a significant impact on the value of bitcoin.

Technological Development: The speed of technological development can be compared to the rate at which societies succeeded or failed. Watch developments in blockchain and cryptocurrency platforms closely since they have a direct impact on the price and usefulness of Bitcoin.

Keep these in mind, and you'll soon discover that items 2 and 3 on your list start to unfold more predictably in front of your eyes. Explore more, look for trends, and let history inform your choices in the future.
16  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are Technical Indicators useless? on: September 23, 2023, 01:04:57 PM
I've seen a lot of traders like you spend hours backtesting, messing around with Pine Script on Tradingview, and other things. It's all just an illusion.

Here's what's really going on. You are correct. When you look at facts from the past, it all seems to make sense. This is known as "hindsight bias". But the market doesn't care about your old data or how well-written your scripts are. The market evolves, it's dynamic. Today's winning strategy could be tomorrow's disaster.

But what do you know? There ARE traders in the world who have done well. Not by chasing after the perfect combination of indicators, but by developing a profound understanding of the market, its movements, and its psychology. Stop focused on indicators and start learning about the market in real, tangible ways. Learn about trends and how the market feels, and build a plan from the bottom up. It's not the tools, but the person who uses them.  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes
17  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Experience for new and old gambler? on: September 22, 2023, 11:23:22 AM
Whose addiction is harder to break? Well, it is the gambler who experience or involved in a gambling evolution. Gambling evolution means they started playing gambling offline, then they also tried or transferred online. They have more choices than those who only stick with one type.

Maybe some will say that it is the online gambler who can struggle the most because it's now easy to access the online casinos, but they can still do something like block access to the gambling sites or not completely use a gadget which are capable to access the internet. No matter what type of gambler you are but as long as you are serious about changing your life for the better, I know that you can do it.
Look at how well this system is put together. Starting someone off in a real place and then moving them to a place where vice are just a click away. It’s a devious plan, isn’t it? Even though these internet gamblers have the whole world of betting at their fingertips, they say its harder for them. But really, that's a pathetic excuse. Haven’t we always found ways to shackle ourselves? Blocking sites and staying away from devices are just distractions. The real task is facing oneself and the desire to fall deeper into this abyss. It's always about the battle going on inside. If you have the guts to do it, you can rise, no matter what your vice is  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

Gamblers at their teenage, do many mistakes. But it doesn't mean they are bad. Actually sociaty always treated gamblers as suspicious and so was happen with your newbie. She wasn't sure her momey was stolen or not but suspicious mind force her to believe such thing. actually when it comes to gamblers, people are too quick to judge them without trying to reveal the trusth. Let gamblers have some time figure it out. My perception about them is that, your nephew would grow up soon with hard experience and then he'll set his mind to figure out which is good and bad for him. Until that, give him just one advice is to control himself during gambling, only stake what he can afford as he also said already
Mistakes are not only dominated by teenagers who gamble, but all gamblers will make mistakes, which is why they lose, make mistakes in analyzing, or make mistakes in thinking which use gambling as a way to increase their income. Gamblers will often make mistakes and lose money because of these mistakes
Teenagers shouldn't gamble because they are still young and don't have an income, so when they are involved in gambling at a young age, how do they finance their gambling? Asking parents will certainly not be given because no parent wants to see their child gambling.
mistakes in gambling arent reserved for inexperienced teens; they're universal. Everybody loses, everybody makes blunders - thats the design. But teenagers? they're in a league of their own. Entering the gambling arena without income? Its just crazy. And if they're not self-financing, then the question remains: where's the cash coming from? Maybe there are things going on behind closed doors we don’t know about. Parents need to wake up and see the reality. 19  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Possible measures to stop online gambling addiction. on: September 22, 2023, 09:50:16 AM
But we as users can prevent ourselves from experiencing fraud and one of them is looking for casino sites on this forum. It would be better than searching for casinos that are out there, especially from search engines. And if we really want to stop gambling or reduce our gambling addiction, we must continue to try to avoid seeing advertisements that will appear when we are online. Maybe we can limit ourselves to browsing the internet and activate the features in our browsers or social media so that we don't see casino advertisements. It is true that the government will find it difficult to block these new and old casinos, but we must try not to just rely on the government. We must be responsible for what we do and if that means we really want to stop gambling, we must be able to avoid everything related to gambling and have an activity to divert our attention from gambling.
Blocking all the advertising related to casinos while you are online seems like an impossible task, we must not forget that companies like Google or Facebook track your activity online, and if you have shown on the past a great deal of interest on gambling you can be sure they are going to serve you those ads hoping you click on them.

And while there is nothing wrong with that when you are a regular gambler, if you want to leave gambling behind each ad that you see will tempt you to go back to your old ways, and given enough time it will happen.
For Google, when I clear my browser's cookies and history, I won't get an ad anymore related to what I previously searched. We can also hard reset our gadgets if that didn't work. For Facebook, maybe there is a settings about how we see an ad or related to our activity. There should be an option of clearing them and that should be able to fix things, however there is no way to completely stop seeing gambling contents.

Even if you say to quit being online, you can still see them one day on the TV, radio, newspapers, etc... It was only an ad anyway. It shouldn't be totally tempting than if you are already inside the casino, so we shouldn't worry too much.
So you think that deleting cookies and restarting your devices will make Big Tech stop bothering you, huh? Those are just the most obvious answers. If you look deeper, you'll see that the monitoring is about a lot more than just a cookie. Google and Facebook do keep track of everything you do and click on. Still, you're right that gambling ads are everywhere. They're like vultures looking for a meal. Yes, TV, radio, and newspapers are all involved and part of the machine.

But the real challenge isn't avoiding ads; it's figuring out how the gambling business works behind the scenes. This is more than just a game. It's a planned way to take advantage of people who are weak. But sure, they say, "it's just an ad." Remember that each ad is a part of their bigger plan  Tongue Tongue Tongue
20  Economy / Economics / Re: Small Scale Business Ideas on: September 22, 2023, 09:04:58 AM
Everyone is always looking up at the big picture, but the grassroots is where the real game starts. In a rapidly changing geo-economy, underestimating the power of small scale business can be our downfall. You want capital? Start local.

Take local produce, for instance. A grocery delivery service that sources directly from local farmers ensures quality, freshness, and cuts out the middlemen. With the ongoing shift towards health-conscious choices, you get yourself a market ready to tap. Couple this with the inevitable rise of digital currencies like Bitcoin, and you could even offer discounts for those paying with cryptos, aligning yourself with the future of finance.
