try to use different port for the pool. i had similiar experience on a flockpool. port 5555 was doing this and with chaning it to 4444 did the trick
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: SRBMiner-MULTI AMD & CPU Miner 0.8.0 on: September 19, 2021, 11:12:34 AM
I have noticed a problem with version 0.8.0. I am getting a lot of LAG if I am browsing when mining, especialy if I watch any YT at the time. With version 0.7.3 it is fine.

You forgot to tell which GPU and which algorithm ?

It looks like issue is on 6800XT (Ethash).

8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: How many cards for 1x16 and 3x1 lanes? on: May 16, 2021, 05:45:05 PM
pci-e 4-way splitter, "the mining one" runs on x1 so only 1 lanes will be used.
the interesting question is, if all this will work on such old mobo/chipset.

Take a look this link, well, it is a HP mobo
https://superuser.com/questions/869600/what-is-the-6-pin-power-connector-on-an-hp-prodesk

they had more effeicient psu that time already because they were 12V only and it looks mobo had 5V and 3.3V regulators on it. Kinda like Intel now want to make a new ATX standard ATX 12VO
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: C2D MB for mining on: April 16, 2021, 07:07:03 PM
this must be motherboard of some OEM manufacturer like HP, DELL? They ususaly have their own mobo layout.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: pcie splitter meltdowns on: April 11, 2021, 07:35:58 PM

is it working good for you? I made few pcie on my own too but it can be a pain w/o proper crimping tool.
And cable more than 1mm2 is amost immposible to use.

poor connection joint can cause overheating that joint.

how  exactly did you lower vcore to 662mV?

From RedTeamMiner documentation:

To be able to lower voltage properly, you need to modify the powerplay table
with e.g. MorePowerTool. Install GPU-Z and MorePowerTool. Save the bios using
GPU-Z. Open MorePowerTool, select your Big Navi gpu in the dropdown list. If
necessary, load the bios to get a baseline configuration. Lower the "Power
and Voltage" -> "Minimum Voltage GFX (mV)" limit to the voltage you with to
run. Lower than 625mV is rarely stable, although we've been able to run at 612mV.

Then you Save, Restart Windows and you will see the new minimal core mV to the number you choosed.

hmm, ok, but power slider in Radeon Software dont work as I want. I did try to set Minimum Voltage GFX to 625mV and it was around there, but I could not raise it to 700mV with that slider in software.

XFX merc 319 Black RX 6800 XT
700 mV CORE (688mV)
1150 Mhz CORE
2090 Mhz VRAM
21.2.3 DRIVERS
128W

61.6xx MH/s

Power limit is also buged. If I go over 15, max freq drop to 500Mhz.

ehh, I use those, sata to pcie on 3 gpus and it is fine. if they cant hadle ~50W than fuckem.
