C31 works for cards with 3mb ram though as well correct? https://support.sparkpool.com/hc/en-us/articles/360014895133-Introduction-of-mining-Grin

Hi all.
How can I start grin-miner in c31 mode with grinmint?
I cant understand how I should wright in miner options.

Grin-miner do not support command line parameters. Simplemining creates config file based on Your options.
- as plugin specify one of: cuckaroo_cuda_29 (default if no specified), cuckatoo_lean_cuda_31, cuckatoo_mean_cuda_gtx_31, cuckatoo_mean_cuda_rtx_31, ocl_cuckaroo, ocl_cuckatoo
- for using ocl plugins specify oclplatform: 0 (default if not specified), 1 (for AMD), 2 (for Nvidia)

Default config: server:port user password plugin oclplatform

Isn't c29 for GPUs and c31 meant for ASICS ?

These are arriving. I got my yesterday. I will put up some pics in a bit. I did not have time to get them unpacked until now.
Then I will see about installing them.
[Edit]
Here are some pics in the article. I'm taking better ones for the review.

So far the driver pack installed easy for Win10 as well. Digging into it more tomorrow.

That is definitely a good thing. It will be interesting to check these out. Good to have you guys back.

We don't have a booth in https://www.miningconf.org/ for obvious reasons, but Spondoolies people including Assaf Gilboa the CEO will be in the conference.
If you intend to arrive, approach to say hello.

That windows update was definitely what is was.
Now I have to figure out how to tweak things in this setup around this mess it left.
6 out of 8 of the RX570 cards mine at 220 instead of the 780 they were. None of my earlier settings are giving me the results I had before. I will keep adjusting.
Great heads up on that win update thanks.

Edit: I got it. Was another update that was stuck. I fixed that. All is good now.

Noted and thanks. I will try that now and let you know.

I am getting something odd I have not gotten before with a RX 570 rig, its got to be something simple. Any ideas?
The error is as follows.
GPU 1,  GpuMiner dk2an0 failed -4

try my suggested post above

after update win 10 to build 1803

GpuMiner dk2an0 failed -4

1 of 6 gpu

every time another gpu have that error
You should roll back to the previous version and disable the windows update...

Or try to lower your -h value

if no -h value to your config, try to use "-dmem 0" option

some of my rigs resolved with this option

I had the same issue when they first went on sale and could not get an August order in.
Ah well.

I could not get  coin payments on my mac to work.

Older browser may be why.  when I finally got it to work on the fourth order it took the coins.

So a pop up from squirrels appeared and said  you already have 3 unpaid for orders  so we cancelled the fourth one.

popup appeared after coinpayment took the coin on the fourth order. Grin

Really pissed as I missed the August cutoff due the the first orders not working.

I moved from pc to pc until I went to a mac with high sierra and chrome which did work.

the order from mineority worked on the older os and browser.

As for the Squirrels website I am not a fan of a system that will auto cancel an order after receiving a btc payment.  they should fix that.

it should have canceled first and not taken the payment at all.

and if it auto cancels it should leave a trail there is zero evidence since it was a pop up and here today gone in a flash message.

10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining motherboard - Onda B250 BTC-D8P - Anyone tried ? on: May 25, 2018, 10:52:04 PM
The issue with the 1st slot is that it needs to be set to Auto like the others That seemed to fix the issue for me.
As for your performance issue it does not seem to be a mainboard issue but with the card and mining client settings. Trial and error to get the right mix is all you can really do. Is there a difference in the amount of ram between your desktop and the Onda setup?

Hello guys, I  got few rigs set up on this Onda B250 D8P motherboard and all share the same problem - everything works great on every possible setup, except when you put card in 1st GPU slot(the 16x one), then it gives out constant 4Mh/s from a GPU that is in the first slot and other cards get unstable hashate(keeps jumping up and down), which also gives SMOS monitor wrong info on monitoring. It works perfectly on a  7 card setup with 1st slot being empty.

just got the same problem. With all my motherboards. Long time lurking and the fix is:

1) load bios
2) system agent
3) gpu settings
4) port 1 was set not like others. just set the same settings for port 1 like for others.

Wow thank you 100x .  Spent all day looking for this solution.

If anyone is having trouble on the v4 motherboard just look for port settings and match port 1 settings with port 2 and 3 (set everything to auto).

On version 1 Port 1-4 are disabled.
But the fix suggested online was....  Bios/Chipset/System Agent/Peg Port config/Peg 0:1:0 Max Link speed = Gen2

I have 12 RX570 ITX Pulse cards running but cant seem achieve ideal performance.
Max is 307mh @ 1520watts.
Anything over 26mh requires massive increase in watts.
Anything over 950core and wattage sky rockets.
anything over 1780 memory and system crashes.
0.2mh/watt is acceptable but not the low mh.
The exact same card when tested on my desktop performs @ 29.5mh with 1090core and 2000memory.

Is anyone having success at hi hash using AMD cards on the Onda board?

Is the suggested bios mod used for fixing 1st pcie slot problems (which appears to only exist with AMD Cards) hampering my performance?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Im using SMOS.
Id like to achieve 29mh per card like they're capable of.

Im missing 15% of their true performance with the onda board. Or am i chasing a rainbow?

I am surprised anything got offered. I thought that was a totally lost cause. Good deal to get anything.

How? Didn't TF scam hundreds of BTC? Why would he pay back just you?

I can't comment on TF's payback procedures but would urge anyone who feels they're owed funds to reach out to him.  I was only responsible for collecting on NastyMining's investment.

You accepted ~21%? Was that all he offered?

The options were to receive the ~6.5 BTC or not. I thought receiving it was the way to go.

That is good to know. Which Celeron is in it? I never looked close at the CPU?

I bought the Onda D1800 one that has 6 PCI-E slot and comes with a built in Celeron CPU.

I can confirm it works fine without any issues for several months now.  Very Satisfied with it Smiley

I think it might be because these boards slipped under the radar and not a lot of individuals got them. I find most of them in data centers.
Still they do work great.

These are some amazing tips and thank you. I am amused that why no one discusses this.
