1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top 100 coin BUT only on TWO exchanges?! on: January 04, 2019, 11:36:30 PM
As some peoples have said that they made alot of profits out of shitcoins, i can say that i am really impressed with this status.. that even looks normal just because peoples trust that coin and give it a value of 1 usd which is pretty good for an unknown coin.
I am really worried if these volumes are fake, they can be washtraded and actually there can be no investors but just scammers working to grab peoples money.

no I don't think they're fake because they're a chinese project. they even just announced a book they wrote that talks about use cases of their blockchain in various industries. I see lots of potential in MOAC. They even said they're planning on deploying 500 dapps on their blockchain this year

they post updates on their twitter: https://twitter.com/moac_io
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / thoughts on ampleforth? on: January 04, 2019, 11:34:38 PM
Has anyone looked into ampleforth? Considered a "stablecoin" but really called a low volatility cryptocurrency. Backed by Pantera, True Ventures, and FBG Capital. Team is from Google and Uber.

Thoughts on their model?

5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: next trend in blockchain/crypto?? on: January 04, 2019, 11:11:25 PM
I am intrigued with MOAC because they have lots of support and adoption in china. i think they even came out with a book that details their use cases

Reminds me of the time when NEO had their ICO. Chinese projects have lots of potential imo

And i should remind you when PBOC forced NEO to return all of the money that has raised during ico to the investors again, they have no money to create a proper development progress. that's so sad and then NEO getting plunged to the bottom.

Have you looked into moac? chinese project too
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ultimate stablecoin vote on: January 04, 2019, 11:09:17 PM
Currently I use Tether (35%), Paxos (15%), USDC (15%), TUSD (27%), GUSD (8%). I don't think that we should have the only one favorite stablecoin. It's unpredictable market and as investors we should deversify the capital as much as possible.
What's the sense of diversifying to different stable coins?

Yea I'm curious too...

I'm really just waiting on Ampleforth to lauch tbh lol.

9  Bitcoin / Meetups / Blockchain conference list????? on: September 26, 2018, 06:18:35 PM
Does anyone know a good place or have a list of conferences around blockchain? I feel like it's so hard to plan out not having a source for all of this.

Based off of my experience, it seems like consensus and sf blockchain week are the largest in the world (with the recent addition of consensus in singapore). Any other conferences??

12  Economy / Economics / Re: Increasing number of celebrities endorsing cryptocurrency on: August 22, 2018, 08:30:48 AM
This can cause some problems also. Like some fake projects are hiring celebs for promotion.
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin online payments on: August 22, 2018, 08:29:07 AM
Something like Youtube that pays in bitcoin can do good. Wait we already have steemit there.
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Your investment strategy? on: August 06, 2018, 05:54:16 AM
I have reduced my monthly investments currently. I am waiting for market to become a little more stable.
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is the existence of bitcoins a threat to jobs and national currencies? on: August 06, 2018, 05:52:27 AM
I do not think that it is threat to jobs as there are people with different interests.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: RIPPLE OR LITECOIN on: August 01, 2018, 12:59:38 PM
Ripple will be my pick from these two. It is too cheap compared to litecoin and thus there is more scope for growth.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins BETTER than BITCOIN? on: July 25, 2018, 08:01:15 AM
In terms of price: there are already coins more expensive than bitcoins.

In terms of returns: that has also already happened.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how you see this sudden Green Trend on: July 25, 2018, 07:54:14 AM
There is news that Goldman sachs is hoping to invest huge money in crypto. But in my opinion, we are ready for a situation like the later half of last year.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are you using ETH for? on: July 25, 2018, 07:49:55 AM
I use it to receive payment for content writing services I provide online. The transaction speed is faster than BTC.
20  Other / Meta / Re: BCT have gone a little QUIET. on: July 25, 2018, 07:45:38 AM
Many reasons :

1) Bitcoin related searches and queries have went down. Most important reason.

2) Merit system also helped discourage spammers.
