Can anyone inform me why there's so much attention around this coin? I checked out their website and it looks like it was written by a middle schooler...
captain dero delivers before talks. checkout their github with stars https://github.com/deroprojectcaptain has delivered in two months more than several projects and icos combined together cannot deliver in year. after long time crypto scene is witnessing something new and remarkable rather than just forks, code rebase, gui wallets. its not ico and does not need flashy website. Developers from the community will soon volunteer to upgrade the website if DERO keeps getting so much attention.

Well I'm quite sure BTC crashed -94% TWICE before, please explain in detail why this (or similar) wouldn't happen again For higher, we need to go lower. (much lower)
I'm quite sure it also DIDN'T crash -94% numerous times before, so why wouldn't that happen again? No it didn’t according to ZeroHedge: https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2018-02-09/visualizing-worst-crashes-bitcoin-history[img]https://www.zerohedge.com/sites/default/files/inline-images/2018.02.09bitcoin.JPG?itok=Cs-FBcbE[/] My first buy was during that Gox correction. Sadly I needed my money later on... I don't normally have much respect for zerohedge, but that visual guide is quite good. I hope they also have a positive one visualizing the rallies. I agree they are fuckin retarded. But that’s why I respect em. Their visual guide brought back all the highs and lows I felt this year from Bitcoin's price movements. A picture paints a thousand words.

Found more info on listing a coin on cryptopia. https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/Forum/Thread/1484basically you need to pay 2,500,000 DOT to get it considered everyone complaining about the price... trading on cryptopia 2,500,000 DOT = 9.5btc .. don't pay to get added, its a scam as they'll remove you later on and you'd have to pay again.
I don't want to pay, but if we have to, the 1.5 btc fee is doable. Should we wait a week to see if anybody replies with a cheaper offer? IMHO waiting for a better offer is a good idea. The fee is doable, but seems high given the long and credible history of DevCoin Devcoin was listed on cryptsy and cryptopia listed most of the coins on cryptsy when it closed down. It's a shame cryptopia hasn't maintained a devcoin market as devcoin has a more credible history than some of the cryptsy coin markets still maintained by cryptopia.

This next leg down could crush my soul.
Assuming another leg down? Which I assume that you are assuming such other leg down would be below $6k? Don't you got ur selfie no more money left for buying? I am assuming that if we get anywhere near $6k, perhaps even breaking below $6,666 (that one is for you Torque-ster).. then the next support would be in the $3k to $4k price range.. which is fucking low.. ... .. so certainly, I am also hoping that support from here down to $6,666 is going to be able to stand up... and we are not breaking lower than $6,666.. Get out your HODL and your BUYDL.. ammunition, peeps. I assume anything above $6k is a house of cards. Don't give up too soon, Bitcoin is still putting up a good fight to stay above $8000.

It saddens me that soon this thread will be irrelevant due to victims finally being rewarded thanks to the class action lawsuit. Everybody is once again made whole, thus no need beating this dead horse further. EL NOT!!!
if "whole" means a kick in the nuts and a joke of a pay-out, then, yeah! We'll start a new thread or FORK this one: The Hunt for Perv Vern AKA Where in the World is Wanker? This thread won't even start becoming irrelevant until the coinbase lawsuit is also finished. If it's successful the payout could be considerable.

So what if it receives fiat? You could consider them as an advanced vending machine. The problem does not seem to be the receipt of fiat, but the attitude of the income tax department towards cryptocurrencies. I assume they have the usual concerns over anonymity and tax evasion. It could take some time before they get the hang of cryptocurrencies.
A vending machine doesn't operate on high limits like that. What if there was a vending machine that sells gold bars? Would that require a registration? . There are vending machines that sell gold bars. They don't require registration for small purchases, but you have to register to make big purchases. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gold_to_Go#MachinesGold to Go is a product brand made by the TG Gold-Super-Markt corporation designed to dispense items made of pure gold from automated banking vending machines.[1] The first gold-plated vending machine, located in the lobby of the Emirates Palace hotel in Abu Dhabi, dispenses 320 items made of gold, including 10-gram gold bars and customized gold coins.[2] There are currently twenty vending machines installed across three continents, with the first vending machine in the United States installed in Boca Raton, Florida in December 2010 The vending machines are covered in gold leaf, and include a touch screen, cash and credit card slots, and a lighted display showcase. Users must scan identification for purchases exceeding 100 Euro, and any single user may only access the system three times in one day before an enforced 48-hour break to prevent money laundering.

I think that's a good fair point I hadn't considered before really. Many of these coins with small to mid "market caps" on cmc are probably worth a fraction of the reported value. I don't think it necessarily applies to the larger cap coins though. If you remove the "other" from the chart it's still a fairly major chunk of dominance that has shifted.
The whole thing is just stupid. I could create a shitcoin today with a trillion coins (which I pre-mine 99.99% of them), wash trade one coin on an exchange for $1, and voilà my shitcoin has a $1T market cap and be #1 on the cmc listing. #1 on cmc you say? I'm in. When is the ICO? I don't think ripple had an ICO.

For me, bitcoin is the shitcoin. First of its kind, but useless.
You sad, myopic bastard. I've been playing with my lightning node over the past few days, and yeah, it's still rough and very much a work in progress, but goddamn is it ever impressive tech. I have seen a glimpse of the future of Bit corn, and it is very bright. But when will it pop? Stock traders say sell in May and go away, so I think it might pop in May.

Everything is fine. I got the new wallet up and running. Mining hash rate on my machine has doubled. im seeing 380 hs with 7 wallets running. Huge improvement from old version. Fish
I'm seeing a good bit of "not responding" hanging the wallet using 3.0 version win64. If I wait long enough it resolves but it's a little worrisome. Started solo mining in the wallet and it instantly crashed. Maybe if you tried mining on a 32 bit windows instead of a 64 bit one it might resolve the "not responding" hanging. Some wallets work better on 32 bit operating systems.
