Dortmund are just continuing to waste their chances. They first lost to Bayern Munich in der Klassiker by 2-3 and this caused the point difference to go up to 4. And at this weekend, Dortmund couldn't even beat a weak opponent like Bochum (1-1) while Bayern Munich were getting another crucial win against Mainz (2-1). Now, the gap is 6 points. We are still the halfway through the season but Dortmund should pull themselves together.

I was quite happy for Arsenal also yesterday. They had a nice home game against Southampton. When we consider Arsenal's awesome effort this season in general, I hoped for them to destroy Southampton of course. And they didn't shock anyone by finishing their opponent off by a 3-0 result. It was a really important win for them after being defeated by Manchester United and Everton consecutively.

Chelsea really made it after a very tough game against Leeds. To tell the truth, Chelsea had a very difficult job against Leeds. I was having no expectation like this and I really appreciated the high effort of Leeds too here. They scored first but couldn't prevent Chelsea from turning the game around. But Leeds weren't intending to give up by scoring the equalizer. But they were devastated by Jorginho's penalty goal in the last moments. Chelsea still deserved this 3-2 win of course.

FP1 is nearly starting and I'm too excited already! We are going to have some ideas after these practice sessions about which of Verstappen and Hamilton would be closer to a victory. But even the qualifying session might be misleading for us. Because this race is going to be determining the champion. Each driver would like to save their real power for the big race.

Leipzig have a big opportunity ahead against Gladbach this Saturday. Firstly, it is going to be a home game for Leipzig but it is going to be played without spectators. Leipzig had a really bad run on the last weeks. They lost their last three Bundesliga games. They are showing a much poorer performance this season so far comparing to the previous one. But I think that they will put an end to their bad form and win this game.

I also think that Sasuolo - Lazio game could be a nice one. After seeing how great Sassuolo performed against Milan and Napoli respectively, I have increased my expectations about them. It can be a very competitive game with goal(s) scored by each team. And a draw wouldn't be surprising to see.

I haven't made up my mind yet about betting on Real Madrid or not. But if I decided to bet on one side here, I'd have definitely chosen Real Madrid as they are closer to making it. But if I bet on them, I wouldn't risk a big amount of money. Nobody knows certainly about what can happen in this kind of games. Maybe I would bet a decent amount of money on "both teams to score".

Their last head-to-head game in Stamford Bridge ended by Chelsea's win resulting in a 3-1 score. And Chelsea weren't even showing a this good performance then. Now, they are much stronger compared to those times. But lately, I also can't say that their defense is very solid. They started conceding goals easily. So they need to focus on scoring more than they concede until this problem is solved.

We were going to see a critical game for Tottenham today against Rennes. But it has been postponed due to covid-19. I mean that there are too many players who got covid-19 at Tottenham. As a result, they are going to play their game later. If the players don't get better quickly, they will be under the threat of being eliminated from the tournament directly I guess.

Real Madrid are going to play one of their toughest games in the La Liga I assume. But unfortunately, Atletico Madrid are not in a very good condition in the league now. They made simple point losses and this caused them to get away from the top too much. And there is another defeat for them on the horizon I suppose. Because Real Madrid are in a far better shape than them now. And I don't suppose they will make a huge mistake in Santiago Bernabeu.

I'm thinking about betting on Max Verstappen for the title. But I didn't see that there was such option on the website I'm thinking of betting. Instead, there is an option like "Who would be the winner?" for this GP. Hamilton is being favoured of course but Verstappen has a really nice odd now. I believe that Verstappen will make it to the title for the first time ever. I know that Hamilton also want to break a new record by achieving his 8th title in his career. By doing that, he will be the only driver who has that many titles in F1 history. So, let's get ready for a big competition!

I'm not expecting anything different than a PSG win in the PSG v Monaco game. I'm aware that their last two head-to-head games ended by Monaco's victory and in a draw. But this time is much different than those ones. PSG have been fully dominating the league so far and Monaco don't seem very credible these days. I'm not expecting them to get even one point in this game.

It seems to me like there is another week ahead which the top three teams will keep their current places on. Manchester City would defeat Wolves in a home game by a satisfying result. Maybe Liverpool could have a little problem as Aston Villa are on the rise now. But they would also be the winner. And Chelsea would like to make up for the West Ham loss in the game against Leeds and I think they will.

The thing that I've been wondering the most lately is whether we will be able to see this great rivalry between top three teams in the standings until the last week of the season. Because I really love following the rivalry like this. There is a big chance for a change in the places of these teams every week. This prevents the league from being monotonous also.

Barcelona are still trying to recover and they can get surprising results in this period sometimes. We can give the Betis loss as an example for this. I didn't expect Barcelona to even lose any points but that was the case at the end of the game. But they just need to move on and focus on getting better. Their next game is gonna be vs Osasuna. This is a game that they can win and I hope so.

What a season we are having now! Trabzonspor are just doing an amazing job really. They have won twelve of their fifteen league games so far and lost none. They are one step closer to the league title every week. And their closest competitors are Konyaspor and Fenerbahce now. But the point difference is really huge like 12 points. This is not easy to close but not impossible either. But most likely, Trabzonspor will be the champions.

Among the games of this week, the one between Napoli and Leicester is going to be the game I'll be following closely. There is a really interesting situation in the group C now. Every team have a chance to continue in the Europa League. And I see Leicester having the most chance. Because they are already the leader. Maybe they are going to play against a competitor like Napoli away but Napoli have some important players missing. And Leicester are a capable team to beat them.

PSG, 90+1'de gelen Wijnaldum'un golüyle anca 1-1'i kurtardı.

Bu haftanın olayı herhalde Serdar Dursun'un Fenerbahçe - Rizespor maçında hat-trick yapmasıydı.    Bu sayede adam bir anda 10 maçta 5 gole ulaşmış oldu. Bitiriciliğinin kötülüğünden dolayı oldukça eleştiriliyor diye duydum fakat bu performans ona biraz zaman kazandırabilir. Belki ilerleyen maçlarda bunun devamı da gelir ve kendisinden Fenerbahçe taraftarları iyi bir performans izlemeye başlar.
