Escrow protects the buyer, but how does it protect the seller? What if the buyer makes false claims of broken hardware, etc?
Please someone let me know, I am interested in selling some things and want to make sure everything will go smooth.
I am still wondering about this. Anyone? Man-in-the-middle is a partial solution, but there's no way to fully solve it AFAIK. The escrow provider is shipped the item from the seller, escrow provider verifies its contents and can probably test any hardware for a couple hours, and then the escrow provider ships it to the buyer. That's expensive, though, and doesn't definitively rule out electronics, in particular, getting banged up in the shipping process from the escrow provider to the buyer. The most reasonable way to go about it is to just honor refunds like virtually every online seller on Earth. Have a brief testing window in the purchase agreement - maybe two or three days from the time it's delivered. If the buyer says it's DoA, he pays shipping back and is fully refunded what was held in escrow. The brief refund window makes the shipping costs on the buyer's side too expensive to lie about for profit, unlike 30-90 day refund windows with companies like Newegg or Tiger Direct. Very good, thank you

Digibyte is a fail I think. It's so sad !
I will go to Saturncoin because it is very cheap and I think I will earn money very fast. 0.00000003 sat. Saturn can go easily to 0.00000050 in 2-3 weeks. More than 10 time your bet
This guy is clearly full of shit and just promoting Saturncoin. Saturncoin is a pump & dump with a huge premine and a price that literally hit rock bottom. Get out of this thread fool. DigiByte is professional with unique features with skillful devoted devs and community. Saturncoin to DigiByte is like comparing Yugo to Mclaren

I'd rather have the significantly lower power draw and be able to hook up hundreds of these things in scrypt mode than only handfuls in dual mode. Personally.
I know a lot of you guys have high power out there and lucky ones even 240v. My current household I can only spare another 60amps at 120v. That's a lot of scrypt miners. Not much for bitcoin or gpu.
speaking of which and not that it matters, but are these things 240v compliant? just curious.
for those that worry about new algorithms, keep both. keep your current gpus and keep these new scrypt asics too. that way you can mine everything

You can buy a shitload for 2!! There's too many sell orders. The sell wall is congested all the way up to 12 satoshi making resale a PITA and a gamble until this coin is more exchanges and more buyers. I'd like to buy 50-100 million if anyone wants to sell. I will pay .012BTC per million or .12BTC per 10 million. or .6BTC per 50 million price comes out to 1.2 satoshi, so 20% more than the exchange. PM for trade. large amounts we will escrow, small amounts we will trade in increments.
