Does anyone know if these can be run without the fan if they are running on LTC only mode?  Trying to see if I can compact the design a bit.
22  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: SCRYPT ASIC miner ready. BTC+LTC ASIC , combo.Open sale now. on: February 18, 2014, 12:43:18 PM
Just placed an order via PayPal, and am looking at another order via BTC.

How much would $5400 USD be in BTC right now? Thanks to Mt Gox, now isn't the best time to convert BTC!
23  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: SCRYPT ASIC miner ready. BTC+LTC ASIC , combo.Open sale now. on: February 17, 2014, 10:38:04 PM
I believe they use a custom version of cgminer.

That is correct.

Thanks!  Is there a guide on where/how this can be setup somewhere?

This is a noob question, but does the sycrypt portion of these miners support cgminer?  I need to use cgminer specifically because I have a number of API commands that need to pushed to cgminer.

If I would like to place an order for a number of these, when will the next batch be available?

djeZo, I just had 5 rigs end their lease and didn't switch back the default pool I had set.  If I hadn't happened to have checked, a 1 hour lease would have turned into a 12+ hour lease.  Is there anyway to fix this?

A few days ago, someone posted a website where historical data on BTC/Mh could be obtained.  Can anybody remember the site, had a look back but can't seem to find it?

No need, found it!  This is what I was after: http://middlecoin.info/

Hello,

I am expecting a LOT of rejections.

Wallet: 18YXY35z1HgMoKqBFgiShGuqnhR7zdwwC6
Accepted: 163.7643
Rejected: 13.5895

Normaly it was about 2-3%. I am using R9 290 cards.

I'm getting about 10% rejects right now on 25Mh/s, which is a lot higher than usual.  I run the same cards (R9 290s), and use the Asia server.

When using WafflePool, I get a lot lower rejects (1-2%).  Middlecoin has a very high reject rate right now.

Another suggestion: On the provider side, have an option to email/communicate with the user from the admin interface.  The reason for this is if you need to communicate with a few of your leasers it gets complicated to manage how you've contacted them (email, this forum, etc).

Tried to setup vertcoin & scrypt-jane, but no luck.  Will try this again son and see if I can get it working for all those looking to rent.

djeZo, we need email notifications (especially for rig providers); at least these:
- email notification when a particular rig is rented
- email notification 1h before a particular rig's rent ends
- email notification when a particular rig rent ends

Agreed, this would help a lot.
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] LEASERIG.NET - rent mining rigs - now with BULK & SHA256 support! on: February 02, 2014, 12:46:51 PM
Suggestion:

Add a way to check the status history of the machine by the owner (not necessarily the customers). If the machine had technical issues or downtime of a dead gpu or whatever, the rig's owner can't check how long the downtime was (unless he has some sort of monitoring software). Normally you can check your pool stats, but obviously you can't when rented.

A graph or something would be nice.

Agreed, if there is any downtime I want to know and be able to extend for the customer or provide a refund.  Right now if I notice an issue, I have no idea how long it's been going on for, and have to ask the customer how long the issue was for (if they even know). In some cases they may have downtime and neither the supplier nor the customer may know.

djeZo, a good feature for leasers is a mass price change.  Right now if you want to change price on all the machines you have to do them each individually.  What would be great is set the BTC/Mhs/day price, select the number of hours, and then apply to all miners.
One of the things I prefer about Leaserig over the competition is that we can set individual prices for time spans.  This allows us to give people incentive to lease for longer periods of time by making the BTC/MH/Day lower for the highest rental times and charge a "premium" fee for the smallest time spans.

I agree with having individual settings, and want to keep them.  What I'm suggesting is a mass modify feature, where in the cases where you want to set all your rigs to the same settings it can save time.

How long do payouts to rig owners usually take after a lease has completed?
I get them immediately when someone hire my rig. Then it's on the BTC network how fast it gets confirmed.

Ahh, there must be a problem with mine then.  I haven't received anything yet and the lease just completed.

My rig is showing an uptime of only 89%, and a number of times it has been listed as down when it's up and running (login remotely via TeamViewer).

These rigs are all in a datacenter with very reliable power and internet, and no network issues.

Are there any logs or anything available to see what errors are being reported?

Is the 2s timeout still applicable?

Hi all,

This is my Reputation thread, please post here.

NOTE: For any support issues, please send me a PM.  This will get you the quickest response Smiley

NOTE 2: I'm using the LeaseRig proxy for my rigs.  From time to time the LeaseRig proxy reports significantly less than the advertised hash rate when mining low difficulty coins.  Please check your pool for the actual hashrate if you notice this occurring, my rigs are most likely mining at the correct hashrate, it's just the LeaseRig application reporting back incorrectly.  Any questions, shoot me a PM Smiley

djeZo, can you please come up with another method to build trust than complete a trade on these forums. I've had no need to perform a trade on the forums so I haven't. Can I do one of the following instead?

1. Provide a deposit
2. Received a delayed payment
3. Rest out a machine free or heavily discounted for a period.

I can be trusted, however I have never needed to trade anything on these forums so I don't have any feedback yet.

You should definitely also setup a feedback system between renters and leasers in the system so that an ongoing feedback score is available.
