189  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Anybody left your day job for bitcoin? on: July 04, 2014, 08:45:05 AM
May surprise you guys or not but I've only ever been unemployed, sure it would be nice if I could get a part time job but right now I'm fully devoted to building up my two businesses, since I think I will have a much better chance than searching around for a job forever only to be paid minimum wage.

If things go to hell it may be worth getting a part time job since I can drive now but so far it's all gone a lot better than I expected.
Awesome bro, wish you all the best Cheesy.

I can recommend BTC-e, though bittylicious is good if you're from the uk or some European countries. As othrs have said you can easily buy from the forum here.

Mt gox is a pretty good website. They will be soon back online, I recommend it.

196  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Facebook trying to profit from Cryptos ? on: June 29, 2014, 11:34:15 PM
According to this news article, FB is allowing dogecoin, digibytes, einsteinium, fedoracoin, mintcoin, reddcoin, quark, worldcoin, vertcoin, karmacoin, earthcoin, trollcoin, HTMLcoin and donationcoin. I wonder Bitcoin is not in the list !!! Does it mean that Facebook board of directors understood they are a bit late in Bitcoin mining and hence mined other alts and now boosting those through their platform for quick profit ?

p.s. Juck wont probably like Bitcoin as Winklevoss hold 1% of it.
there are two possibilities, the first one as you say, fb has been left behind on the way bitcoin and they chose to follow the latest being the moment and think it will all be as good as bitcoin later. second chances, they just have not been published, are preparing well for bitcoin.
like finally lol

200  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This Family is Road Tripping using only bitcoins #bitcoins #realspirit on: June 28, 2014, 04:27:44 PM
With the growing amount of businesses accepting Bitcoin this is not surprising anymore.

What surprised me is that he is travelling with two little kids. Well, that would be a nightmare for me. What a man.
haha .. they must have had a reason for it, which has been planned or maybe just a coincidence. what if it happened to you and your friends with your son? what are you doing

I don't know/ I dont like kids either. And the fact that they travelled with kids impressed me waaaay more than that they only used Bitcoin.

sounds like you never had kids.. you will soon learn that parents develop a mental mute button in their head, and they learn to not notice the shouting after a while.. not impressive when you personally experience being a parent

(Average) Kids are such horrible brats, it's a miracle the human race is able to last another generation.
well sooner or later, all of us will have kids whether we like it or not.
