We are creating a Social Active Space Lybid 7.0 for 60 (!) days.
The square will be located at the intersection of str. Yamska and Fedorova, the metro station Olympiiska in Kiev.
The social platform will include an open summer cinema, a wooden podium, benches, green area, wifi, the historic Street Art, the street library.
The Lybid River is an incredibly beautiful place that Kievans do not even know about. And no, there is not an unpleasant smell from the river itself. We believe that the realization of our project will inspire people and restore faith in the fact that everyone can create and implement their own ideas. Just start to act!
Project goals
1. Ecological. By implementing the square we want to draw attention to the state of the Lybid River and the territories around it to make the first project on Lybid, which will be an impulse for revitalizing all the river banks. Also we have cooperating with organizations ready for exhibiting lectures on the collection and sorting of recyclables.
2. Social. The creation of a social site, for the time of spending, rest, training, relaxation, social lectures for the population of Kiev, conducting literary evenings, film screenings, open lessons (we are negotiating with universities that want to conduct lectures on the territory of our project).
3. Health. We will conduct there breathing practices for healing, emotional correction of post-cancer patients on an open air in a landscaped area (we have already had professional who is interested in this).
4. Inspiration. Realization of the park Lybid 7.0 will inspire many people, will restore the belief that the inhabitants of the city can create their space, their ideas together with the state and its support.

Additional information.
We started to implement the project 1.04.18 and 1.06.18 on the "day of child protection", an pre-opening is planned, and therefore we are applying for support in the implementation of the second part of the project.
More about goals.
In the territories along the river, many projects are being created, large and small, but due to lack of financing, attention, and responsibility, these projects remain at the project stage. The river and further clogs, every year illegally withdraw sewers and sewage from various organizations along the river, the river disappears, and in fact before it was large and navigable, it only recently regained the status of the river, in Soviet times it was just a collector. We want to draw attention to this problem with the help of our project and immediately show that it is possible to create already now a space that all residents of the city will use. They can spend time there actively and profitably, conduct open video lessons (as in Europe), breathing practices for healing, ecology, exhibiting lectures on the collection and sorting of recyclables (we are already cooperating with organizations ready for further activities on the site).
Since the playground is not landscaped, it attracts people without a place of residence, garbage is constantly dumped and the place becomes unfavorable and not pleasant for the time of escort, especially with children. But the playground itself is a beautiful site, with fragrant greens, gurgling of water and singing of birds. And we want to show and attract the attention of city residents and foreigners, with the help of our revolutionary project, the construction of the park in just 60 days!
In this city center of Kiev there are practically no park areas, public gardens, recreational areas. Local residents and citizens simply have nowhere to rest in the park. There are few existing public gardens but they are small in size and unable to accommodate a large number of people. We will give place for that people, who wants to spend time in nature or doing educational activities, seminars on proper nutrition, emotional correction of post-cancer patients on an open air in a landscaped area.
