Hey Everyone !
I was looking around for some interesting projects to invest in, I stumbled on the METM coin.
They are building a V2 of their already working DEX and have released a token creation platform allowing everyone to create their tokens on the ethereum platform.
The actual marketcap is 400k$ so it could be very interesting for a max supply of 180M tokens ...
I spotted two issues with them right now:
1) They are not doing any marketing before releasing the V2 (around end of June)
2) They are traded on mercatox ...
Is it me, or does that look too good to be true ? Any opinion would help, good or bad !

I really don't know the project you are talking about and I don't think you will get a proper investment advice here without doing more deep research on the said project. So I will advise you not to only depend on the advices you get here alone |

After overtaking Ethereum on CMC, XRP seems to be one of the most promising cryptocurrencies of 2019. This cryptocurrency has seen unprecedented growth in last year along with a whopping price rise.
Now, due to its consensus mechanism, more and more payment providers are getting onboard. Moreover, there are some released products like xRapid, xCurrent, and xVia, which are improving its overall position in the blockchain network.
When it comes to its market prediction for 2019, as published on coinswitch, there will be an addition to its partnerships and technologies that might surge its price to 8 to 10 dollars.
There is a chance that might reach $1.20 by the end of 2019, do u think?
Ripple is a good investment but I think it will serve as a long term investment because of its slow growth in price. You can look into other promising altcoins that can give you quick profits than xrp |

A friend shared this interesting observation about most of the IEO's that I found very interesting and decided to share.
We will base our assumption on $400, let say you have $400 and $100 was invested on each token.
We will analyse based on two parameters;
✔ IEO
✔ ATL
If you had bought at IEO and sold yesterday when I did this analysis. Here is what will happen.
Value at IEO
FET: 40
BTT: 142
CELR: 118
MATIC: 468
Total: 768
By implication, you would have turned $400 to $768. That's 92% ROI.
Profit: $368✔
A30 means after 30 days, if Chris had bought at IEO price and sold after 30 days.
Value at IEO
FET: 50
BTT: 155
CELR: 118
MATIC: 490
Total: 813
He would have turned $400 to $813. That's 103.25% ROI in a period of 30 days.
His profit would be $413.
If Chris had missed IEO, intentionally or not. And he's got only $400 to invest, then picked up these four tokens at ATL.
If he had sold everything yesterday, this is what will happen to him.
Value at IEO
FET: 160
BTT: 212.5
CELR: 185.71
MATIC: 733.33
Total: 1291.54
By implication, he would have turned $400 to $1,291.54. That's 222.88% ROI in a period of 3 months.
Chris' profit would be $891.54
He could withdraw his capital and continue his journey in financial market.
After going through this analysis it looked very interesting that I decided to seek more input. What do you think? Could it be said that most IEO's follow this pattern? If they do, what factors do we think are responsible? Finally can traders rely on this strategy in their trading and would it have any significant effect on the success or failure of IEO's?
you may have had a good observations but the problem I have with it is that I has to do with binance alone. What happened to other exchanges and projects on them. Being part of an ieo on binance is not that simple |

It is an exciting time to be investing in cryptocurrency, at a time when there are so many exciting new projects. To find one with the greatest chance of success a few things need to be considered:
The team fielding the ICO
Token model
Visibility/popularity.
Having looked at various ICOs currently on offer, I am convinced that BankNet have one of the most solid chances at success. The BankNet team has come up with a very viable model that aims at engaging the three major industries: banking, insurance at real estate. It aims to create a platform on which these three industries can be revolutionized and bring about the golden age of fast, simple and secure digital currency transactions.
I don't think the listed criteria are ways to find or know a good projects. I have seen good teams and yet project failed. Scammers can design even more better token model than you can even imagine. Visibility is a good aspect which is quite hard to find |

Bounty hunters are requesting to get paid through Bitcoin and Ethereum or other tradeable coins so bounty hunters will not dump their token when it hit the market, thereby protecting its price. But they don't want that because they do not believe that their own token will have value or demand when it hit the market  and that's actually what's happening That's one of the reasons I can think of if you have more post it here. you have a good point but bounty managers are not in the position to send out payments or in the position to say what coin should be paid to the hunters. I have seen projects that pay out on tradeable coins or tokens like you have mentioned. |

Hi, This is not the typical article about how to get money in which we have to do thousands of operations in order to get a few dollars. The Blockchain page is giving away Stellar just for registering. I have been trying as much as possible to hold any token I got from bounty campaigns. That has been my main purpose of joining campaigns and accumulating tokens or coins. But sometimes in life we have challenges and no place to source for funds and can't help but to sell and solve problems

The irony now is that even some old exchanges that conducts IEO turns out to be scam as well.. Read some speculation somewhere about some exchanges like IDAX manipulates the price raised for the project. So don't just trust any exchange.

You can't predict so easily if the price will rise or not, else if you are a professional financial analyst. So since by your post you are not, I suggest you make some research on the coin and don't solely depend on the advices you get here.

To start with, how many years have you been holding? Because the term years means that you have been holding since 2016 which I strongly doubt. Also, what particular token have you been holding?

You don't really need people to dictate to you when to buy or sell like they do in a pump and dump groups. You need to have a plan on your investments and follow it believing in your instincts else you need a financial advisor

I can't forget the quarter 4 of 2017 during the Electroneum sales, the hype etc. And they eventually raised 40million with nothing to still show for it and that got me wondering. Although I will love to know in details what the sanctionwas for and some briefing to that

The ethereum will surely be part of the bull run when the time comes as we can see that the price is going up as well and may run along side bitcoin when the bull run comes.

i will strongly recommend a regulation on iCOs to avoid scams and bad investments. I have seen that we need regulations on blockchain to stop many evil acts from taking place and that's the only way sanction the defaulters

I will suggest that you make some market research and not really rely on information you get here. You will get a lot of suggestions here and might get confused and make a wrong choice so go through the market and do some deep research and invest wisely.
