This crap is retarding both these projects and what's it over? A few feral kids on an ego trip and gaming the system for all they can get out of it, the Monero folks have better things to do with there time, we've better things to do with our time and the mods have better things to do with their time but we keep getting dragged into it.
I'd had a mod in touch yesterday over a comment I'd made about the altcoin section in a trolling/FUD thread in meta and after a bit of bouncing back and forth between mods it was suggested the best thing to do is get in touch with a global mod with a clear and detailed summary. I'm not one for running to the authorities, far from it, it usually takes a hell of a lot for me to even click that "report to moderator" button but I've clicked it more in a couple of months in this section than a couple of years on this forum and seeing the mods side of the mess yesterday was revealing, these kids know the forum rules off by heart and they're gaming them so they're using the rules just as much as anyone wanting them enforced.
The group that appears to be behind them is another story though and a much more sinister one, any time you've got a group of idealistic youths fighting for what they believe in take a good, hard look at who's pulling the strings. I grew up around that shit and know just how easy it is to take that force and direct it, young Muslims running to join ISIS to fight the western devils, skinheads beating up civil rights and anti cap protesters, whole damn revolutions run by puppet masters with contrary objectives to the poor fool puppets who think they're fighting the good fight. Crypto's threatening some people very experienced with subversion, maybe it's not here yet but it will be. [/rant]
Hi Stan... I agree. I would love to have a discussion on dash talk in a new thread about this very issue. What I've been observing is there is coordinated Trolling almost in shifts. New user accounts are Created...to make seem like there are numerous people with the same Troll line. ^^^^^. It would. Be great if tungfa or someone with great language skills could draft up a small paragraph on this matter addressing the troll tropic... Which someone like myself can bump. Forward. |

Oh my god... Now I've heard it all. So that's what's up peoples bonnet all this time... That they think because something was instamined it is a scam??? Maybe in dozens of shit coins where developers dumped their coins and disappeared that would be the case. Don't insult peoples intelligence with equating those types of scenarios as the same. What complete nonsense! Crypto-Currency world needs to get out more often and get some fresh air. This correlation between instamine = scam is rubbish. No one was scammed... Prove that someone got scammed and who they were or shut it. Which if course you won't. Everyone of you know this coin is not that..... That is why you are here. It's break neck development speed is so concerning and threatening to you that you must be here. And now that we know why your here... It's all. Good.  jealousy! |

Did cryptsy just impose KYC rules out of the blue? Would be a nasty move if it was unannounced. At least poloniex announced it a week in advance.
yes. I've had an account for years. Today I sold dash to pay for rent, go to withdraw and find i'm "Tier 0" and my withdraw request exceeds the allowed amount. So, with no other recourse, I begrudgingly fill out the required information just so I can /pay my rent/ and successfully initiate my withdrawal. Now my withdrawal has been in pending state for almost 24 hours. I open a ticket and get the following bullshit reply: "I apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused you. We are experiencing a delay when it comes to processing BTC transactions especially with withdrawal requests. Our technical support team is already aware of the issue and is currently working on a fix. We appreciate your patience as we get the coins moving to you. Thank you kindly for your patience and understanding." That was 8 hours ago. Thanks Cryptsy, in one swift move you've lost all my significant future business. thanks for the sub 0.008 DASH my DASH withdraws went through fine as always. good luck on your btc. cryptsy is dead to me. Are they implementing KYC rules? |

.... It's a great way to fund development and reward those that do the hard work at the beginning. People yelling they hate instamine are idiots. Like every corporation in which Shares are created in the beginning to bring in financing...we had coins to fund development. Instamining turnout to be an excellent tool. It does make sense.... As I know you weren't there...you are NOT an authority on how things happened....I on the hand was. Very lucky for those of us that bought in immediately....10's of thousands of DASH in the beginning after being flush with cash from the Bitcoin bubble that we cashed out at nearly $1100/ BTC. When DASH went to $15/DASH ....we again made tons of money...lots of money, I'm not ashamed of that. Maybe it was you that i profitted greatly from by dumping it into your hands, and why you and your kin are sooooo hatefull. To Bad.  So I have NO bags to worry about. But....I've been steadily buying back....because, for the same reason your here, there is something special going on here. There is a gut feeling and with close observation of our developers work that have solidified my investment in this currency. This obviously doesn't matter you and your cronies who are on a character assassination for your own gain. But my friends...smart investors read between the lines....they research all the facts. And sure...maybe unsophisticated investors may second guess getting in at first by ignorant non relevant yammering about instamine...their loss. I so can't wait for the next 12 months! We are going to continue to grow...we are going to continue to attract savvy investors and developers...as your whinning of instamine becomes less and less relevant! Wow... It's been nearly 2 years with the same rhetoric. There's a coin/currency for everyone. Don't like this... Awesome... Then move along and leave us fanboys to our ways... We are obviously happy here. If u continue to stay even though you don't like this coin and start trolling then most likely your a paid sock puppet by another coin.... XMRats. ... The whole idea behind the Virtual Corporation is that anyone can step up to the plate and work for it, if accepted by the voters. And I must suggest strongly, that anyone wanting to do a proposal, think months in advance, start a discussion on it (preferably on Dashwhale). You need time to gain the approval of such a diverse group of voters. The community needs time to digest your proposal, make suggestions, and for you to implement those suggestions. In a very real way, the forum thread that contains your proposal is your contract with the Dash Virtual Corporation. These proposals have been coming out so loosely, mostly things that Evan says he'd like us to do, and we just do it. Eventually, proposals should come from anyone, and they should be formalized in a thread, with final specifications and a time table. The community should keep them honest and raise the red flag if something is going wrong, so the MN can vote down the proposal and stop the funding on solid grounds. Don't get me wrong, we Know our current core team are keeping tight watch on all funds they spend, and they're a small group doing so many things, but plan on putting that ledger out for public view. But that's not how a decentralized system should work, (relying on one person to tell us what to fund and do) and we need to start setting up some rules/traditions. IMO Look what happened to DashWhale's proposal. The implimented Evan's vision of a place where we can manage Dash voting, and a forum for proposals. However, Evan never formally Green lighted the project, I suspect because he doesn't want to be the almighty dictator and to let MN voters do the right thing. And MN voters won't support it, with many saying the reason was that Evan didn't say they should. We all (community and MN voters) need to grow up and make the decisions that are right for Dash. Will others that start projects, hoping to show they can do it prior to asking for funding, now stop because it looks very much like they can't win approval? A project that's already obviously had a TON of work put into it for the benefit of the Dash Virtual Corporation, can't even get funding boggles my mind.Otherwise it's been going very well This hits the nail on the head, TanteStefana2. Fully agree astonished to see the dashwale proposal not getting enough yes votes why would a 3rd party app get funding from Dash ? i do not understand why you are still pushing for this. I am not a member there, no need for me (i do not share my details) why would i vote for them to get funding ? it is a great app, sure, but they could ask their customers to pay a dash a month and everything is settled ! why don't they ? these 'emotional' discussions about votes like this or like that come on, it has nothing to do with evan giving some kind of 'hand signal' that everybody votes yes or no ! i think (and hope) we are old enough to do that on our own. so please let it go I Also agree. It's not my belief that we should be funding "private" 3rd party projects. It was not what I believed should be the purpose of the funding mechanism, but rather funding for core development and features of the currency it's self. IMO |

I have made my decision. I am entering the DASH space.
Buy wall is up on POLO.
Just getting feet wet with 1000 DASH.
I pray this investment pays off one day.

As you may know already all the real chat goes on on dashtalk and not here. As IIregrettably can't contribute to coding or any of the immense as amount of work being done on the technical front due to lack of technical skills... I've resigned myself to slumming it out on this thread and poking fun at the paid clowns trolling here. We have a great community and a very deep and talented Dev team. I'm sure your time spent with this project will be rewarding. |
