There are thousands of failed altcoin projects by now, the names are starting to be like old domain names. The development team acquired the rights to the name from a small abandoned crypto project "Dashcoin" although it was never intended to use the suffix "coin". Thus we are now DASH, but thanks for watching our backs, it is all taken care of though. +1 nzminer original dashcoin since july 5, 2014 still mining dashcoin and trading at poloniex https://poloniex.com/exchange#xmr_dshedit: using the words, "starting to be like old domain names" and "small abandoned crypto project" sounds like your trying to make it look dead. anyway at least post a link to show how the so called "acquired rights to the name" is really acquiredI am just trying to be helpful by sharing information. The DASH dev team did acquire the rights to that project from the original developer, signed a formal contract and registered the trademark. Also, took over the Github account, the github is locked and development will not continue. Here is the current state of the DSH market: I was surprised to learn that you were still mining and trading. I think we don't need to be overly territorial... wpalczynski and ArticMine are not trolls IMHO. If anything they seem interested in knowing more.
We have had so many trolls lately like Icebreaker and Adam White that we may be a little sensitive.
I don'think the target market is in this forum, everyone in the altcoin section knows everyone else. DASH is clearly developing in a unique direction that adds value in many areas. There is value in that.
Monero is trying to make Cryptonote usable, which it is not yet, that is positive. Not my choice but good for science. I really dont get the coin vs coin thing here trying to get the same recycled investors to jump from one coin to another. So why dont we all try to be civil, crypto is risky enough as it is.
DASH is targeting the market outside of this forum, the forum is already saturated most people know which projects have anything to offer there are not that many coins being created anymore, not like last year. Now each project needs to reach out outside of here if it wants to be succesful.
To folks from other threads just approach your research with a critical eye but with an open mind. You cant sincerely believe there will only be one crypto in the world, so many find out why so many people find value here instead of crying fault all the time.
Damn...I hate that your so practical!  But alas your right....certainly the target market is miles away from this forum for sure. Thanks for the reminder and being the voice of reason. |

Why the hell are all these Monero guys on here?!? Dont you have your own forum?  you don't see Darkcoin/DASH guys over there! WOW?!? Maybe it is because the Darkcoin/DASH guys put on quite a show with the re-branding and in the process drove up the price of XMR from 0.0017 to 0.0028 over two days. So?  ? You want to blame us for your price increase? lol Funny way to show the appreciation Anybody know the psychological term for this - there has to be one Yeah you would think that the guys over there would be like .."shhhhhh, keep it down....lets ride this pump and don't point the light on the fact that once the rebranding is complete over at DASH...they are going to have a ton of new features coming that we can't touch and we are going to get dumped....shhhhhh" ...but nope...they are counting their chickens before they've hatched. Karma is a bitch.  |
