Ok I made a simple comparison. Go to google and type DASH. Then do it again and type Darkcoin. You will see what is the difference.

I don't agree with anything stated in that Xposting from DCT.
The word "dash" is simply not serious enough. It is too whimsical, "flighty" flitty" however you want to describe it. More suited to the DODGE coin community. First thing that comes to mind is Santa Clause's reindeer when hearing the word, second thing that comes to mind is a Russian word. Dashcoin invoked a picture of Santa Clause flying over roof tops with his reinders. Or sinister old world Russia.
That's just me obviously. A technically solid one of a kind coin needs more bite to its name than "dash". That's akin to naming a 6x6 truck the "daffodil truck" or the "daisy truck". As for the idea bout squares and triangles, apples and ipods and all these cute and flighty type names, it is next to impossible to give something a goofy name and expect it to take off because of that. You can certainly try but if it fails there will be no second round. You might as well go for broke and go all the way with a "zingo" or "bongo" "zoomer" type goofiness that many try with very websites and company names on the internet, that go absolutely no where.
Put some real money to good use and retain an established marketing company to conduct a study and to actually run brand clinics to see how the general populous perceive different names, not rely on crypto nerds on internet forums for the answer.

Ive spent some time to think about all this and ive been talking this over with my wife who is actually does Marketing and branding for some very large global companies. She loves "Dash - Digital Cash" re brand. It makes it easy for Non-crypto geeks to understand..."Whats Dash - its digital cash ---ohh ok thats easy to remember and figure out." Plus we can use the old "D" logo, as having branding continuity is extremely important so we can still resonate with people who were previously part of the team and familiar with the brand. All I can say is im fucking excited as ever! Edit: And if you are diehard oldtimer then its still Dark Cash for you  Its funny that you mentioned that....my wife also thought it was a far better name really love it. I then asked her why she never said anything about not liking Darkcoin and she said...because "I thought you were very passionate about it and thought it was what you liked." And in there lies the problem...we dont have enough women giving us input on this....women influence over 80% of purchases around the world. Seems like its an important demographic to seek input from |

The incompetence argument is no better. So you're going to trust a developer that doesn't even test his code and fucks up a launch with your anonymity. Good plan!
Trust is earned over time - Evan has certainly earned the trust and respect of many investors and crypto enthusiasts, despite these ridiculous scam allegations. Your efforts to discredit this coin will only cause potential investors to investigate it more closely. The intelligent folks who did that already are the ones who own masternodes.
