I have repeatedly said this before... Only the greedy ones fall victim of scams..  How on earth will you think you will get x10 of eth you sent?  Common, why not look for a way and work for it?  People are being scammed on daily basis cos they are all insatiable...  Only insatiable beings gets scammed. Lol.

My advice would be to continue reading the forums. Read 100-200 posts for every 1 post you make. I don't know if that is the exact ratio I used, but it helps to get a good feel for which members are wise and which members are spam spewers. (And it tends to place you in the former rather than the latter category).

Use the google search option (the tab at the top LEFT of the forum window). It is your friend, while the standard search text box (at the top RIGHT) is about as useful as the aforementioned spam posts.

If you make learning/gaining knowledge your primary forum objective and drop monetizing the forum much further down the priority list, you will be successful. If you switch up those priorities, you will probably end up frustrated.

Good luck! Grin

I sincerely love this advise..  Will look into this once I am done with my signature, it's half way down, lol.   I think this is more of the reason people are successful in this forum... One can't think deeply like this except they make extensive research.  Thank Goodness I scrolled through...  ☺

Your cousin fell for this cos of greed...  Greed can only make someone fall for such..  Sorry to say. The other person had options of operating such, Vpn and the rest.  Sorry about your cousin.
6  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What should I do? All efforts are lost. on: September 19, 2018, 04:26:01 PM
So I checked your posts...  All, almost all are in this category 'altcoins disccusions'. Now seat and think deeply if that category is adding anything positive to you in this forum,  why not check other places you can easily be fond of and can be of help or maybe can state your own opinion? There you can get the merit you are looking for.  All the best!
7  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: My life will change when there is a Merit on: September 19, 2018, 11:49:01 AM
It all boils down to "where" you comment and how you comment...  Also like a user said,  don't go around begging for comment, Just believe you will get merit(s) ...  All the best!
8  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: how to know a non-fraud project? on: September 17, 2018, 12:33:29 PM
There are certain things to look out for in a project...  The project usecase.  What they are talking about and how they will achieve such goal,  all these can be found in the white paper,  also check out for the team,  I mean faces behind the project, do proper research...  Another tip is if any Cryptocurrency influencer (lol,  I don't know what they call Macfree and the rest of those guys who promotes good project.) always check their analysis, cos they won't want to shill a scam project..  Follow them on twitter to be updated..

So my point here is

Project usecase.
Team members.
Cryptocurrency influencers talking about the said project.
And also doing your own research.

If you want to invest,  seek advise from people around you,  check Cmc for biggest looser, especially good project and invest in...  The bull will come and none will be left behind.  Good luck.

Lol,  I have deleted my Blockfolio...  People who want to make profit should be able to look at long term investment  , such things(i.e booming) happen after people have regrettably sold all their coins for peanut.. Lol,  even if I look at my wallet,  I am not discouraged.. Crypto is still in its infant stage..  More to come!

Best way to save passwords is by encrypting your email...  I am still learning the process and ropes of it,  but you can google it, test run and then see how it goes...  Even if someone sees it, they wont even understand anything.
12  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: can anyone advise me on: August 28, 2018, 07:58:08 PM
You can google on what you want exactly..  It all boils down to you, First I can't advise you on something I don't know what you want..  If you can tell us what you want, then we can guide you step by step.  When you are ready You can state it..  I have put your thread on read/watch.. But you can google things to understand what you want..  Cheers.

Quick question?  Are you talking about the forum? For that you need to comment on post..  Make reasonable comments and socialise also...

Hello dear, I believe you are a newbie as such can't differentiate between a legit and scam airdrops..  The link you posted is a scam airdrop and it is asking you to use email to join directly...

Firstly they are claiming to be Monacoin... Which is false,  Monacoin is already trading and you can always check an already trading coin/token that is claiming to do airdrops via Coinmarketcap.com, this will guide you to the project website and social medias...

Well I went through Monacoin website and got their reddit account..  Please don't fall for such drops, they will hack your mail and other things to get through to your token either via exchange or anyone..  And another advise,  never use emails used for airdrops for other important things..  I hope you understand me...  Here is the real Monacoin reddit Link  https://www.reddit.com/r/monacoin/ you can ask more questions.

For exchanges like Binance and co, you have to contact their support and you will need a valid ID to pull through.. More reason it's good to Do Kyc during registeration so that your next proof will have to be that same ID...  Wishing you the best, sorry about your phone.  From now on,  regard your 2fa codes as private keys.
19  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What's the fastest transaction speed you've seen? on: August 17, 2018, 09:35:53 AM
I don't know if this relates to the topic, but    Transactions from a Steemit account to another is free and more than fast... But it's only steem and sbd that is tradeable.
20  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Beginners with small amounts of money on: August 15, 2018, 09:10:56 AM
Mainframe, Steem, eth... Always check projects that have great backings and still a running project..  Eg Steem is a blockchain on its own..  Alot of ways to mine Steem and also for free, which is Steemit.. Just calm down and check the top 10 Coins on cmc stated by a commenter...  All the best.❤
