Hi, There was My ID in Reel #3 ( for 70 chips with international shipping)

But I can't find my ID in order list now.

What's going on?  Huh
22  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [OPEN] Bitmine CoinCraft A1 28nm chip distribution / DIY support on: February 19, 2014, 12:47:10 AM
This. The sample chips need 850mV min, not sure if the chips from the production batch are better suitable for down-volting - but obviously everybody is looking to up-volt them anyway Smiley

Oh... I tried it to use 0v7 ~ 0v765 for safe testing....

I see that why my chips return very small level signal...

Thank you Zefir, I'll try it in 0v85.

I pulled it from git and compiled it on the RPi yesterday with no issues.  I'm not sure why you'd receive that error.

This source code is only RPi work?

I try to activate Windows 7.

Are you doing in MinGW?

you need to change some headers for windows.

#include <linux/types.h>
#include <linux/spi/spidev.h>

Update: 2-Chip Evaluation Board Reference Design published by Bitmine

I have been approached numerous times from designers asking for a A1 reference design. Today, Bitmine added their 2-chip eval board design to their GitHub repository.

We used this board for initial verification - it runs with the provided cgminer driver as is over RPi's SPI interface.

It looks simple and great.

I checked BOM, it's cheap and almost item can be ordered immediately, but LTC3811 is in back-order  Grin

25  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Klondike 16 - Avalon Chips on: February 10, 2014, 01:31:35 AM
Hi,

If the Klondike 16 PCB takes 16 Avalon chips, and Avalon state 1.5-1.6 GH/s (Overclocked) why aren't people doing this as surely they could be getting 25.6 Gh/s (16 x 1.6) per board , whats stopping them?

Thanks

1.5~1.6 Gh/s is Avalon gen2 (55nm) chip.

original Klondike was just for Avalon gen1 (333MH/s).

Klondike with Avalon gen2, is on going at  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=190731.3540

it is not completed yet.

( I test recent Klondike firmware with my Klondike Gen2 board, hash rate was under 12GH/s)

MegaBigPower has stated they are expecting a mid February delivery for full reels.

Mid February is near. Any news, rumors, delivery times?

At the megabigpower web site, there was a meesage  "ASIC chips will be available in mid-to-late February 2014".

I think it mean 28,Feb,2014 :-)
27  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [OPEN] Bitmine CoinCraft A1 28nm chip distribution / DIY support on: February 05, 2014, 02:42:01 PM
Today, I got 2 chip.

Thank you, Zefir! Grin

I'll find a way to help Coincraft A1 open source project!
28  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Black Arrow - Status of pending orders - Prospero X-1, X-3, and Minion on: January 28, 2014, 12:35:11 AM
So, I can ordered 2 minion chip.

Do you mind if I ask what you have planned for your minion chips?

I am guessing its for repairs to the X1 or X3?

I'm just try to make my own miner. :-)

I have 3.3 V and the Pickit is connected correctly.
I can also download the existing firmware from the board.
Could it be that there must be a special setting in MPLABX IDE for prject properties ? Under prject properties - licensed debugger - auto select memories and ranges: I can choose "allow licensed debugger to select memories" or must ist be "manually select memories and ranges"?

No, you did it right way.

I think, you have problem in your pcb or soldering.

I tested firmware working in my 10-chip board( I just tuned it up for mining speed ) and minimal setting in my breadboard.

Just connect usb header & ICSP Pins and powered form pickit3(with MPLAB 3.3v power output setting) , it works well.

Hi everybody,

now I have my first Klondike-boards in hands and it seems that they need the last firmware to become flashed. Can anybody give me a description howto do this?

I also want to mine with the boards using minepeon. Must I patch the cgminer used by minepeon? If yes, how to do this?

A little help would be wonderfull.

Best regards

Joerg

First, Klondike thread is here -> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=190731.3540

you can get last firmware  here ( It's write in first page of upper thread ) -> http://github.com/bkkcoins/klondike

you can find detail manual of Klondike , here -> http://www.projectklondike.org/

Buy PicKit3 in from here. www.microchipdirect.com

Download MPLAB IDE form www.microchip.com and compile firmware oor just write Hex to your PIC MCU with IPE (it's part of MPLAB IDE)

There are 66 chips not paid .

if they doesn't pay in 8 hr,

I'll take it.

I'll check thread after 8 hr.

I have to admit i didn't even notice that, I was just adding all the number. The one for 50 I am working out a side deal for a different payment method, and the one for 16 has had ti reserved long enough that all of the unpaid chips were considered first come first serve.

I wouldn't mind adding them to my own stock, but since you spotted it I can offer up to 70 for sale as per the OP instructions.

Ok, I'll take 70 chips,  I'm outside of my home.

I'll pay after 8 hr.

Thanks.

How is it going with testing of last PCB version for 55nm Avalon?
Is anybody have assembled K16 Gen.2 version?

DHL called me like 2 hours ago, that the PCBs are in the country. Now the package has to go through the customs, so I'm expecting them delivered at the beginning of the next week.

 Grin That's great.

BTY, Can I ask something about klondike firmware?

In klondike.h, at define section. there is an constant "21.33uS" in the comment.

It is 0.00002133 sec.

what means that?

Where 0.00002133 is come from?

GUI Miner is a miner with GUI and it can be use with command line miner (ex, cgminer( https://github.com/ckolivas/cgminer /) or bfgminer(http://bfgminer.org/) ).

And cgminer or bfgminer support ASIC miner.

you can add cgminer or bfgminer to your guiminer's folder.

you can find tips from here ( guiminer's thread. https://bitcointalk.org/?topic=3878.0)
