21  Economy / Economics / Re: Will countries or central banks create their own cryptocurrency? on: August 26, 2018, 11:58:07 PM
that speculation might happen, crypto has become mainstream now and many people are starting to learn to know and invest. but the question is if the bank does this does the decentralization system continue to be used? because basically the crypto system is contrary to the bank system.
22  Economy / Economics / Re: Why I am not sharing my crypto love? <3 on: August 26, 2018, 11:46:30 PM
sometimes I also because people around me have considered crypto the same as ponzi scheme, I will only be interested in discussing if someone wants to follow me. after all, I don't feel any loss if they don't know about crypto, and might regret it when they see my progress.
23  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it my impression or media is biased towards bad news ? on: August 26, 2018, 11:36:25 PM
Do you think the media is trying to destroy Bitcoin and cryptocurrency ? I think they show 95% of the times only bad news. Why is this happening ?
you cannot blame the media completely for the bitcoin population problem, because this problem is sometimes caused by some people who have suffered losses in crypto, they become crypto negative extremists and spread negative news to their closest people not to join the market.
Most of the media I read also actually reveal crypto facts even with a little spice, but I don't think that is a big problem as long as we remain consistent.
24  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do we change the public's view of Crypto world? on: August 26, 2018, 11:28:17 PM
interesting topic, I think changing people's perception will be difficult if the domination of the community is apathetic towards new things, like in my country, most people here consider the controvesial technology like crypto is something that cannot be accepted without ever knowing what crypto is. The solution can be started through education such as seminars, training, and socialization.
25  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 7 safest investments. Why Bitcoin & crypto currencies ?? on: August 26, 2018, 11:15:54 PM
bitcoin is too risky as an investment, but you can't change my mind. bitcoin has many advantages compared to the 7 investments that you mentioned, besides that you don't need large capital to join and I think everyone can join if he has the will to learn.
26  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin continue to fall this year? on: August 26, 2018, 02:40:48 PM
Will Bitcoin continue to fall this year?  After the $18,000+ rise, bitcoin has not yet recovered from the great fall. Will it continue to go lower and lower? Or do we have hope that it will hit high this year?
What do you think fellas?
This month is not a good time for bitcoin, the price is experiencing a boring market and only moves between $ 6k - $ 7k, but I don't think bitcoin will fall again under $ 6k.
I have read an article that says Robert Sluymer and Tom Lee, both from market analysis firm, Fundamental, believe that this will change very shortly.
Tom doubled his predictions to $ 25k by the end of this year, even though we know that don't believe too quickly in a prediction, but I think the explanation is clear and reasonable enough to be trusted
27  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is it true that bitcoin is a disaster for local banks on: August 22, 2018, 11:40:18 PM
in fact the bitcoin decentralization system is more attractive to many people than traditional banking because it has many advantages. This might threaten the status of a traditional bank but with some improvements and the bank is able to accept bitcoin I think the local bank will not die.
28  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think the SEC will approve CBOE's Bitcoin ETF? on: August 22, 2018, 03:52:22 PM
If the SEC approves do you think it will have a global impact on other financial regulators? Will this possibly pave the way for an explosion in bitcoin value? Please share your thoughts. Thanks!
I think that is true, the SEC's decision will have a big impact on the condition of bitcoin. This is evidenced by two events filing a bitcoin ETF which was a crucial decision by the SEC, namely when the proposal was submitted in June by Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss, the founders of crypto exchange Gemini were rejected. The price of bitcoin is dipped 3 percent to $ 7,880 following the news, according to data from Coinbase.
Then prices surged back to $ 8300 after rumors said that the SEC would approve bitcoin-based trading. The conclusion is that the regulation of the SEC has a big influence on the development of bitcoin.
29  Economy / Economics / Re: it is possible fiat currency will crashed? on: August 22, 2018, 10:03:39 AM
I don't think that will happen, Fiat Money still continues to dominate the financial system today. although crypto in the future is already mainstream and widely used, fiat money will continue to be needed as a means of payment.
30  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Current cryptocurrency market situation on: August 22, 2018, 09:48:27 AM
pump and dump will always occur in market activities, unfortunately 2018 dumps may occur long enough, many experts say that bitcoin is at its lowest bearish point before rebounding back and reaching the top, I believe in it and everything will return to normal or even more than which are expected.
31  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin situation on: August 20, 2018, 11:40:41 PM
90% of those who are talking about death of bitcoin are the same people who are trying so hard to buy bitcoin when it drops a small 5% so that they can accumulate a tiny bit more.
The rest 10% are the newbies who fall for the 90% FUD and are scared of the situation.

Yes, that's right, newbies only use this investment for the short term, so most of them panic when prices become volatile with high value, whereas long-term investment will be very profitable.
32  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can you wait to prove them wrong about Bitcoin? on: August 20, 2018, 11:30:41 PM
Bitcoin is now in a bad condition and there are many negative issues but we have already entered the market and there is no other choice but to wait for bitcoin to recover. No need to deal with people like this because it will only waste time, they will be shocked after bitcoin explodes again and we benefit.
33  Economy / Speculation / Re: what could cause bitcoin prices to go up and down? on: August 13, 2018, 12:28:49 AM
So, actually the reason why Bitcoin prices are more volatile than other currencies is; the absence of any entity that controls the price of Bitcoin. The price of Bitcoin is determined by all people who have Bitcoin (regardless of number). If you have Bitcoin now, you are one of the people who determine the price of Bitcoin. If you suddenly sell all of your Bitcoin, the price will move down (because supply / supply is now increasing). Likewise, if you suddenly want to buy lots of Bitcoin, you have contributed to the number of Bitcoin requests, so the price will move up.
Now, imagine there are millions of people who have Bitcoin in the world with different selling prices and buying prices.

By gathering them all, you will get the market value between the request price and the bid price - and that is the price of Bitcoin at that time.
34  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can you stop calling Bitcoin an investment? on: August 13, 2018, 12:23:11 AM
Changing this paradigm will be very difficult. In the past, Bitcoin was conceived as an alternative currency that can be used as a medium of exchange to get goods or services but now is the status of bitcoin still relevant to be considered a currency?
The growth of the value of Bitcoin against fiat currencies or official currencies issued by a country can be said to be very fantastic, Bitcoin is very unsuitable for use as a medium of payment or money, due to changes in value when rising and falling has a very large difference. Stability of Value - one of the absolute requirements that money must have as a medium of exchange is not owned by Bitcoin
35  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Cryptocurrency Stand Without Bitcoin? on: August 13, 2018, 12:15:35 AM
crypto will not be able to stand without bitcoin, many issues indicate that the altcoin market is now less good and unstable. even the price of ETH now starts to fall at $ 300 after a few months ago it reached $ 500.
This post does not aim to bring down altcoins. Altcoin can still be a market trading and investment, but with the risk we must cross check well for profit.
36  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: INTERNET = BITCOIN? on: August 13, 2018, 12:08:48 AM
technically bitcoin is indeed similar to the internet, no one has bitcoin and anyone can use it. if there is no internet then there is no bitcoin, bitcoin's dependence on the internet is huge.
37  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin in Southeast Asia be legal? on: August 12, 2018, 11:56:28 AM
Because to my knowledge there are several countries in southeast asia that have not legalized bitcoin. And what is our endeavor for bitcoin in southeast asia to be legal like any other country (which has legalized bitcoin).
Will the impact be positive or negative?
Bitcoin looks promising in areas where the banking sector and payment system are not very developed, including Southeast Asia. There are only a few merchants that accept Bitcoin. Although the population in Southeast Asia is twice as many as the population of the United States, the acceptance of Bitcoin in this region is relatively lower.
but the paradigm slowly began to change, many believed that Bitcoin might fill the gap left by the conventional financial system. Large Southeast Asian economies like Indonesia and the Philippines have made headway in terms of using Bitcoin as an alternative to fiat currency.
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who will be the new king on: August 12, 2018, 11:45:17 AM
I think bitcoin will get stronger and no one can replace it, I'm not sure if bitcoin is destroyed, the cryptocurrency ecosystem will survive. Many people risk their lives on bitcoin, while altcoin prices are still unstable but continue to experience development. The thing that can shift bitcoin from its throne is a big explosion in altcoins, maybe that will change the situation in the future.

40  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin a Digital Gold?? on: August 08, 2018, 03:07:47 AM
we as investors consider bitcoin as an asset, I don't think it's a problem. precisely the opportunity to get greater profits can be obtained from investment in bitcoin, if we are narrow-minded and only consider bitcoin as a payment instrument, will bitcoin be as popular now? Bitcoin votality value is an attraction for investors to invest here. Today bitcoin is flexible broo, everyone has their opinions.
