...
edit: keep in mind that i had my btcd on my local wallet at the snapshot time.. so i guess they are not linked yet

Oops, sorry.
Found the answer: http://support.supernet.org/topic/i-just-swapped-my-btcd-where-should-i-send-my-btcd-private-key-to-claim-revs

thanks! so then i will wait until it's possible to do in the gui

You have to check your BTCD address in which your BTCD were at time of snapshot on http://revs.supernet.org/, you will se your REVS there

For the REVS we don't have any GUI yet, and thus I suspect importing the BTCD privatekey will be hard too. We will publish instructions as soon as it is easily doable. For the moment there is no rush though, no GUI and no REVS market.

Yeah i understand that but someone said that they are already distributed, i was wondering if i can see my coins on revs explorer by entering my BTCD address.

ok i went ahead and just did it. The answer is yes you can check your revs balance by searching your BTCD address on revs explorer. It will equal to your BTCD balance

Hey guys, received my KMD from the swap. When will the REVS wallet will be available for importing the private keys? I didn't deposit to ICO site for REVS swap, how can i see how much REVS is sent to me? Do i search my BTCD address on REVS explorer (http://revs.supernet.org/)?

Also feedback on iguana GUI:
I have to do the whole dance of adding coin & entering seed every time i open the wallet. Is there a way for info to persist?
Also every time i goto EasyDEX or Explorer tabs and come back, my wallet selection is reset and i have to select KMD wallet everytime. It is annoying.

Thanks for replying Smiley

Guys i think we should push for getting added to Shapeshift, they are a good option if you play a lot in alt market.

My questions are

1. I have supernet lite wallet installed, can i get my REVS asset on the nxt wallet in it?
2. Is there a last date for withdrawing coins from ICO site? I read that blockchain and wallet are yet not stable so i was thinking of waiting till they stablize.

Thanks for replying Smiley

1. SuperNET Lite wallet is part of the old supernet technology/vision, we won't continue to develop it. We don't have any plans of creating a NXT REVS proxy token. [SuperNET lite wallet uses proxy tokens].

2. We haven't set any specific date, but for sure it will stay online for one full year as that is how long the BTCD swap will last. So no rush, withdraw when you feel comfortable!
ok, thanks. i have created wallet successfully and running in basilisk mode, would that be enough to receive my coins and earn interest on them?

ok guys i read a bit. I now have this understanding.

1. I can get my ICO/swap coins by going to payout on ICO site and importing the same seed into iguana desktop app.
2. To get REVS asset i can either wait for importing privkey in GUI or use CLI.
3. I can earn 5% annual interest if i create a new UTXO every year.

My questions are

1. I have supernet lite wallet installed, can i get my REVS asset on the nxt wallet in it?
2. Is there a last date for withdrawing coins from ICO site? I read that blockchain and wallet are yet not stable so i was thinking of waiting till they stablize.

Bittrex certainly is not dying, instead they are about to come out with an update this year and enable fiat markets and BTC margin trading. They are just clearing out markets they think are costing them money and dont have active development.

I think bitcoin is at verge of early majority trying to get in, and thus all the drama in bitcoin space.

Decred last year launched with innovators & lucky early birds getting in, now it is trying to transition to early adopters with bare bone infrastructure and good working beta s/w in place with next 2 releases. We are yet at least 2-5 years from early majority i think.

where is the wallet you can download?

why are you being directed to 1broker lol

That is new development on wallet so they make money while not doing anything useful.

15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Minig altcoins for beginner on: January 07, 2017, 09:17:33 PM
you can put your hardware to use on Nicehash or rent your hashpower on MiningRigRentals (link in my sig to both sites) to earn some bitcoins w/o headache of selling coins on an exchange. For nicehash you just need to download their miner and it will setup pretty easy and will mine most profitable coin available.
16  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: can i start mining on my laptop ? on: January 07, 2017, 09:12:02 PM
you cant earn any bitcoin by mining with a laptop for sure but you can mine altcoins with a GPU or in some cases CPU to earn some bitcoins. For this you can use sites like Nicehash(referral link in my sig) which directly pays bitcoins for mining altcoins. You can also buy some cloud mining hashrate on Genesis mining especially right when bitcoin price is high, although its mostly not profitable. A third option is to rent rigs to mine altcoins and sell them for bitcoin and make a small profit.

In summary most mining is a zero sum game unless you have super cheap/free electricity or a pump on altcoin you were mining.

i think its only fair to give an advantage to BTCD holders as they have been with the project for way longer than ICO investors. They are like super early investor when a company is running out of the garage.

I think most people never knew about slack cuz it was not publicized. Reasoning was that forum is much better at preserving information/conversations and makes it easy to find info for newcomers while on a chatting platform info is lost and same thing has to be rehashed. For development as we all know most devs in general prefer IRC/github.

why is the situation so sad, they already said bounties will be paid around Jan 10-12. Please be patient.
