美術市場とビットコを含む暗号通貨支払いは，他の業界と同じでまだあまり相性がよくないんです．．よくなって欲しいのですが．．
ご推察の通り，暗号通貨支払いは，安全なブロックチェーンの確認回数をじっくり待ったとしても，銀行の国際送金よりは決済が早いですし手数料も安いし，クレジットカードのような取り消しもありません（逆に送金ミスると怖いですが）．美術やそれと似た領域の国際的な市場では売る人と買う人が別の国で別の貨幣を使ってることも多い割に，業界標準といえるような送金様式も確立されてないので，みんながビットコとかを使ってくれるととても仕事が楽になります．
ただそういった便利さは，暗号通貨がそれなりの自立した経済圏をもったときに真に発揮されるもので，いまは業界内で使っている人が少なすぎたり，税制や，ボラが激しすぎることが実際に本格的に使うときに問題になります．
いまのところ，暗号通貨を単なる法定通貨間の橋渡しとして使うことが妥当かなと思います．つまり円やドルで商品に値付けして，お客さんはビットコインを送って買うんだけど，お店は円やドルで受け取るというものです（というかほとんどの人にとって「ビットコイン支払い」が意味するものはそれですよね）．お客さんのほとんどの人の収入は法定通貨でしょうから，円から円への流れの中に一時的にビットコが入ってる，と捉えています．
例えば日本だと，bitwire shop などの支払いシステムを導入して，ビットコインで支払われたら，それをすぐに自動的に円に交換することで，価格変動のリスクを抑えます．
ちなみに，bitwire shop はバージョンがいくつかあってそれぞれに機能が違います．
ver.1は，支払い時の円での価格を保証してくれるもので，決済までの間に価格が大きく変わっても，お店は損をしません．そのかわり受け取り側も支払い側もビットフライヤーのアカウントを持っている必要があります．
ve2~は，（たぶん）ビットコインの着金したときに自動売却して円に変えることができて，上記の保証がない代わりに，支払い側は普通のビットコインウォレットからビットコインで支払える，というものだと思います．この自動売買で発生する差額をどう捉えるかは業種によるでしょう．（この説明はいい加減なのでビットフライヤーのサイトで正しい情報を確認してください）
お店側はすぐに円転すれば，便利なだけで特に手間も損もないかもしれません．では支払い側は？？という疑問は残ります．


またスレについてですが，ご指摘されたルールのことを知りませんでした．ありがとうございます．
英語版ではEconomics/Marketplaceとかで，みんな普通に宣伝とか売買とかしまくってるので，そのノリで書いてしましました．．
そのルールが意図することは，皆さん同意されると思います．問題は，他者の行動を適切に制限するために，良識に依存してる判断をルールとして明文化することは難しい，ということですよね．
例えば宣伝を告知と言い換えれば，印象は変わりますし，ルールから逃れることができるかもしれません．実際に板にはICOやエアドロップの告知？がたくさんあります．ただ，支払いを導入したお店やイベント主催者がそれをやることが，ICOやエアドロップより悪質かというと，それはまずないでしょう．また事業者でなくユーザーによる投稿なら良いと書いてしまうと，裏垢を作って自演して，事業者本人が書くより悪質なステマになる可能性もあります（匿名ユーザーであるということは，事業者が名乗り出ることと違って責任を負わなくて済むからです）．
つまり現時点で既に矛盾はたくさんはらんでいて，その矛盾から噴出するものがコミュニティの許容範囲を超えたときに（あるいは超えることが事前にわかる場合に），何らかの処置をとる，ということで運営してるように見えるのですがいかがでしょうか？

hakkaさんが懸念されていることは（ルール抵触よりも，良くない事態が起こると予測されてること）はもっともだと思うので，多少何かの条件を追加するくらいで，大丈夫なんじゃないかなあと個人的には思いました．（んーこういうのって難しいですね

支払いや受け取りで暗号通貨を使いたいという人が，書き込みたいと思うような場になればいいですよね．

たくさんありがとうございます！食レポついでというか，お店に行ったときに，どうして暗号通貨導入したのかとか，実際払ってる人いますかとかを聞くと面白いかもしれませんね．暗号通貨って，既に導入してたり知ってる人に対しては，話のきっかけになっていいなと思います．
いまのところ，暗号通貨は支払い手段として得とか優れてるかとかよりも，コミュニケーションの一種として擁護できるというか，楽しむことにも価値があると思っています．
