1  Economy / Gambling / Re: Urgent! Any site allows me to bet on Sunday's Greek vote? on: July 04, 2015, 07:09:06 AM
This is the only thing I've found. Not sure if I'm missing something on another site (which I probably am). Fill me in though cuz i would like to bet on this.

There is a better option which is Fairlay, they have a market on the vote (yes @ 1.4) as well as a market for

"Greece will adopt another currency"

and

"Tsipras will resign as Prime Minister"

Generally Fairlay has better odds than Directbet, here is a review. Good luck!

Not sure why but I am unable to read the whole table. I have tried using Firefox and Chrome, but I got the the same result.

Thanks for telling me. Do you mean the far right of the tables goes off the screen? If so I am on to it. If something else what do you see?

Are you talking about Peerbet or PRC here?

Uh you're right, I need some sleep, edit made and thanks again.

New update. Oh my god! Wow!! AMAZBALLS!!! CHECK THIS OUT!!!!  Cheesy

http://www.bitcoin-dice-guide.com/dice-investment-comparison/

Lots of action at PRC in the last few weeks. Bump in profit and big increase in turnover and house bank from BTC3188 to BTC3878. I saw there was a whale betting huge I guess he lost pretty big, as long as theymos is having fun with the forum funds I guess Wink Actually who do we think the whale was?

For the first time in months there was some action on dicenow, increase in turnover and house bank, profit down a bit.

For somewhere that reportedly gets a lot of action bitdice profit has been incredibly flat for incredibly long. Get your tin foil hats if you like.

Happy bitcoining!

I think its time we heard from Mike Hearn and Peter Todd on this  Tongue
5  Economy / Gambling / Re: Help me decide the name of my bitcoin gambling website on: June 23, 2015, 11:26:37 AM
Well thanks so much for the kind words about the site. Being non-technical it has sometimes been frustrating and expensive to get the Bitcoin Betting Guide where it is but overall I love working on it. It took me 30 years to find something I am good at and even then it only worked because of bitcoin Smiley

About the name I am now paralyzed by indecision, I did not want to lay it all out at the start incase it affected the votes but this was how I saw the pros and cons of each choice. I have put the current vote tally next to each one, here is where to vote https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1w7Sn7FrlyrK5AuJSiLW6hrZXFj0x48tT67EB8aThheY/viewform

Bitcoin Sharp www.bitcoinsharp.com 11 votes
Advantages
* Brandable and memorable
* .com
* Contains the word “bitcoin” for search results

No change, keep existing name and URL 12 votes
Advantages
* Existing brand awareness, trust, google index, back links, IT setup et cetera, its working well so far.
* Contains the word “bitcoin” and “bet” for search results
* Uniform with the name and URL of sister sites (Bitcoin Casino Guide, Bitcoin Poker Guide et cetera)

Disadvantages
* Long
* Boring
* Key words separated by – is considered spammy by some

Bitsharp www.bitsharp.net 14 votes
Advantages
* More brandable and more memorable
* Short
* Unique “word” pronounces well in English

Disadvantages
* .net

And all the feedback I have gotten has been variations on these items, except one person said they like www.bitsharp.net becasue it is more versitile in an uncertain future, so if Etherium or dash take over it could still be used. I note that most people voting for no change are already past visitors and a rebranding is more about, new, future, visitors.

IDK but the longer no decision is made the more likely we don't change it. Thanks for all your contributions.

and/or tell me what you think. Be aware in popular gambling jargon a “sharp” is a smart and winning sports bettor which will resonate with the target audience.

7  Economy / Gambling / Re: PocketRocketsCasino.eu - NEW UPDATE! Largest crowdfunded Bitcoin dice site! on: June 22, 2015, 02:39:38 AM
If I invested in your site say 0.1 how much would I expect back in 24 hours?

No one will be able to give you an estimate. All depends on players' luck.

You should always see such investment as a long-term thing, sometimes very long term.

It not only depends on the players' luck, but also the total wagered amount on the site, the % of your investment in the bankroll and your risk setting.

Actually you can give an estimate on average, this table shows the PRCDice bank is turned over every 2 days. With a 0.9% investors edge investors should gain 0.45% in 24 hours. Of Course the result in any given 24 hours varies wildly but that is the theoretical average since the 1st of October. I have not yet had a think about how leveraging and different kelly settings will affect this but it will.

More valuably the table shows how much investors have really made in the last 93 days is 39.49% which is 0.42% per day.

So with more than 3 plus months of data the theoretical return for 24 hours is 0.45% and the actual return is 0.42%. I'll call that a pretty good estimate ON AVERAGE, in any one given day you can't say Smiley lots good stats here by the way

Thanks for your word, i need a good dice or betting site with investor program. you can add a minimum btc for invest in every site?

Its so low its not worth considering, I think it's BTC0.001 at the most. Pocket Rockets Casino might be an exception as they are trying to discourage investments but generally any amount will do.

By George you have done it old boy! This solves so many problems.

We still need some way to determine the optimal block size, but we have much more leeway. The wrong choice will not cause catastrophic failure

Fantastic, we can just take our best guess without pulling our hair out with worry of what disasters will insure if the guess is wrong. Perhaps 8mb + 20% per year elastic cap where those values can be adjusted with a soft fork.

What if the rollover fee could become the full node reward?
13  Economy / Gambling / Re: Champions League Final Predictions Barca Vs Juventus on: May 19, 2015, 11:20:26 PM

14  Economy / Gambling / Re: Betting On ATP/WTA Tennis [Help Me Choose Teams] on: May 19, 2015, 05:38:47 AM

Next matches for me are:
Andrey Rublev VS Marin Cilic.
I support Marin Cilic for the win.

Sam Querrey VS Juan Monaco.
I support Juan Monaco for the win.

Steve Johnson VS John Isner.
I support John Isner for the win.

Now you know your bets you can see where to get the highest odds and biggest payout in bitcoin by checking the odds comparison tables

http://bitcoin-betting-guide.com/odds-comparison-tables/mens-tennis/

Marin Cilic 1.25

Juan Monaco 1.47

John Isner 1.3

In each case there is more than 5% difference between the best odds sportsbook and the worst. That is the difference between winning and loosing long term Smiley good luck!
15  Economy / Gambling / Re: houston Rockets vs Los Angeles Clippers Game 7 on: May 17, 2015, 01:57:00 PM
Game 7s are so damn exciting! When you know what bet you want compare the odds at the 6 best bitcoin sportsbook to make sure you get the highest payout possible.

http://bitcoin-betting-guide.com/odds-comparison-tables/nba/

For example

who does everyone have? I have Rockets ML at +116

Table shows you could have got + 122 on Jetwin

Angeles Clippers is my choice in this match.I have place some amount on Clippers victory @1.72 if this win which is obvious then I am going to make my day.This means no more bet today after this win.

Table shows you could have got 1.75 on Cloudbet.

Sports betting is a game of small edges, these odds differences can separates long term winning and loosing. Good luck!

All figures are updated party people  Smiley

http://www.bitcoin-dice-guide.com/dice-investment-comparison/

Peerbet keeps roaring along with a big increase in profit and house bank.

Bitdice is down, has not been down for long and funds are still in the public cold storage address so no reason to worry about exit scam yet but still a bad user experience.

I might pull out of Dicenow as no one is betting there which gives me all the negatives of being in a house bank, like not being able to use those funds and counterparty risk but none of the advantages like return on investment. What do yall reckon?

Thanks for the update. So what are your thoughts on DaDice?
-Peerbet team

Seems like just another dice site to me. Not sure what they think the mean by "next generation"

a draw means a eventual rematch and a rematch means more money !!! for moneyweather so i guess a draw is actually one of the biggest outcomes in terms of probability its in their intrests :O

If Pacman wins it also means a rematch Smiley

In what country do you guys think DirectBet is located? They won't say but we can make a conspiracy theory Wink
Its definitely not the UnitedStates . Probably somewhere in Europe, but would be almost impossible to say which one.

Not impossible at all. I've got their information. Working at CloudFlare has its perks Smiley

Oh well, the reason I asked is because we include that information in our sportsbook reviews but we cans do without it on the DirectBet review. Here it is

Please tell me if I have made any mistakes or what you agree and disagree with Smiley
