Gox has really fucked a lot of people with this technical bug. For anyone that's been in limbo for the last 8 days, they've just taken a 20% hit if they moved fiat to BTC just to withdraw (aka, me). Fuckin' assholes.

What's with this retarded "HODL" meme?

Looks like skanner.net is broken because they changed their API-exposed data feed without warning

The fact that they are intermittently fulfilling withdrawals (at a subjectively determined rate of about 30%) leads me to believe this is in fact a technical problem and they aren't "scamming" or "insolvent." It seems quite random but withdrawals are being honored to some degree, so there is still light at the end of the tunnel.

Hey all, I'm looking for some help tracking down two transactions from MtGox (BTC withdrawals). I have two tx hashes for transactions, one of which was successful, the other which was unsuccessfully. I tried using http://skanner.net/MtGox/mtgox_tx.php but it's not finding any of my failed transaction hashes. What's the best way to confirm whether a transaction was successful? These two transactions are for the same amount of BTC and to the same address, so it's hard to tell which actually failed and which succeeded. Any advice? I currently have 3 withdrawals from MtGox that are stuck in limbo. They total over 3 BTC; one has been in limbo since 01/30/2014, the other two since 02/04/2014. I know I'm not the only one that's facing this issue but just wanted to mention.

Hey all,
I'm looking for some help tracking down two transactions from MtGox (BTC withdrawals). I have two tx hashes for transactions, one of which was successful, the other which was unsuccessfully. I know there's a site that allows you to look up information on these hashes, but I forget the name/URL. What's the best way to confirm whether a transaction was successful? These two transactions are for the same amount of BTC and to the same address, so it's hard to tell which actually failed. Any advice?

For what it's worth, I made 2 withdrawals (purposefully) of slightly over 1BTC each and one hit immediately (the 2nd tx), while the first has yet to arrive (I think I'm going on about 4 days now). So, there's something wrong that they're clearly addressing, I just don't see the rhyme or reason for why some transactions are sent immediately, and others aren't.

Is it better to just get BTC out and take a hair cut, or try to withdraw USD via wire to US bank? I don't mind waiting if it'll eventually be sent, I'm just worried I'll never get it.

We're talking about BTC here not a different currency. Or do you mean they actually try to geolocate the owner of the address?
I've never seen anyone turn sugar to shit as efficiently as MtGox. What a sad story they've written.

I have a ticket open, awaiting a response (it's been about 6 hours).

Just wondering, do these typically lag? I've never had BTC withdrawals lag so bad but lately I've had one take 18 hours, and another is now going on 30+ hours with no signs of processing.
Any insights?
