Will merge mining spread my hashes across all coins I'm mining?

If so, would I be better solo mining only Moneta Verde if I want all my hashing power pointed at it?

Anybody? Does merge mining spread my hashes, or is it more efficient and profitable than solo?

how can i solo mine only this coin. no merge?

I believe this solo mines it:

monetaverded --start-mining Vdu4S8AFg4pSiAECHvdRniYJd3cMGdaJt4vfMN51rykajA4RxxvQgndc4hYSNf5QzoahpYWUSoXmuLx CJyunSMa113btNC38D --mining-threads 4

can i assign a port to this?

what is the coins port?

no port required. mines straight to your wallet address

Could someone confirm hashrate with an Amazon EC2 32CPU instance please? I was getting approx 1,300,000 (if I remember correctly). Is this in the right ballpark?

You are referring to c3.8xlarge ?

Yes, c3.8xlarge.

I've seen this given as the hashrate to blocks calculation:
hashrate*86400/difficulty=blocks per day

If that is correct, one 32CPU EC2 (c3.8xlarge) instance at Amazon with 1,000,000 hashrate and difficulty 139,885,237,143 gives:

0.6 blocks per day.
10BBR per day.
0.015BTC per day.
Given $670 per BTC, you've mined $10 worth.
And you've given Amazon $40 for the privilege.

That's a $30 loss.... Where have my calculations gone wrong?!

Typical miners concerned only with selling now and not holding  Roll Eyes

Nope. I'll be holding. Thanks for your concern though. I'm trying to figure out why people are selling, since it seems like they are selling at a loss. Can anyone sanity check my calculations? It seems like buying at the current price is the cheapest way to acquire more BBR.

What kinda prices is this expected to hit on the exchanges?
0.002 is the current price on the trading thread.

Can someone help me with mining please? I followed instructions to build on Ubuntu 14 x64 here http://boolberry.com/howto.html#build

I have a boolberry directory, but within it I see no sign of boolbd so I cannot start mining. Any advice?

The resulting executables can be found in "build/release/src"

Thanks, I must be tired to miss that. Long weekend!

My BTC withdrawal just pending aproval. I didn't get confirmation email too. Angry

You won't get a confirmation email. Withdrawals are (or at least were) done manually, at least every day. You will need to wait until the site admin approves the withdrawal.

I registered an Alias yesterday. The Daemon said it would be added to the blockchain but I don't see it on the Network State page, and when I try to use it from the wallet I get an error. Is there something more I need to do?

I registered one a few days ago, and also do not see it on Network State page. What's up with this?

Somebody on Polo trollbox says the 80% premined BCN were destroyed.  Verify anyone?

haha, no. they are still in the blockchain. Look for yourself
