sorry guys I thought it was possible add some ventilation in addition to the cooling system maybe at the bottom, I'm so noob about cooling systems. Anyway is it the problem which stops people mining litecoins? If you have no clue what you're talking about then why are you trying to answer questions on the subject? I was just giving an advice and if I don't know about cooling system it doesn't mean I can't speak about it, it is a forum where people learn to mine. I'm an electrician in the refrigeration industries and I think I know what I'm talking about, now I've readen about water cooling system and I know that chips exchange heat directly with the water for the entire surface, anyway 1 fan at the bottom can help to have a change of air.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin mining......

Every Scrypt ASIC has been uneconomical/scam so far. Scrypt was designed to make FPGA/ASICs nonviable. If you're buying one ask to see evidence it works first! There's some buzz about Gridspeed that's supposed to be a dual SHA/Script miner but I'll believe it when I see it. practically is possible that ltc mining will be made by GPU forever?

Economy / Economics / Re: January 28 and 29 - New York senate - What can happen?
|
on: January 17, 2014, 05:50:34 PM

Hi people, sorry for my bad english, 28 and 29 January, New York senate audience will decide regulate or not the cryptocoins, including the bitcoin If regulated, can we expect an increase in the values of bitcoin and other cryptos?? If yes, probably the bitcoin will be quoted to how much dollars the unit? $1,500, $2,000 ?? If not regulated, can we expect a drop in prices, like happened when the Chinese government banned negotiations with bitcoin? If not regulated and prices fall, bitcoin will return to the current price (800~900 dollars)?? Is it a good idea to keep some money available to buy bitcoins and litecoins if the prices fall (not regulated) by New York senate? opinions are welcome! IMHO if regulated we can expect an increase of about 1500$. Else, bitcoin going to remain at a stable price like those days maybe a bit less. Yeah its a good idea. I'll deposit about 5k$ the day before.

Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Newbie mining question -- Fees?
|
on: January 17, 2014, 11:20:19 AM

Hi all,
So, I was reading about how different mining pools charge different fees. Would I be right to assume that a fee will only come out of the profit I make mining, or might I be required to cover some of the fees out-of-pocket so to speak? Or rather, is there a potential to lose existing bitcoins while mining, I mean?
Thanks!
Celroc
The pool take fees directly from the block solved. So it can't take your bitcoins confirmed!
