Service is down since 3h+. What's happening ?

How about for NVIDIA cards ?

Nvidia cards already have reasonably high Lyra2REv2 hashrates. This miner is allowing AMD cards to finally compete with similarly priced Nvidia cards when mining this algo. You can check out http://cryptomining-blog.com/9166-latest-ccminer-2-2-fork-by-nanashi-meiyo-meijin-for-monacoin-mining/ for the latest ccMiner for Nvidia.
Allowing on 2 pools only ...

Do all rx580 come with a 6 pin power connector, or do some require 6+2 power to run correctly?

Actually, some need both 6 and 8 pin connectors (or, as you call them, 6+2)

I have the same cards and they happily mine with only the 8-pin connector plugged.

Yes they do...I was just answering the question Cheesy

But they don’t *need* both 8 and 6 pin to run.

I guess a better statement would be “yes, most cards has an 8-pin connector but some comes with 8+6-pin. However, they don’t need both connectors to mine IF you undervolt.”

There! 😊

One of my 570 Nitro+ NEEDS 8+6, without 6 it's not stable.
With no big OC or big voltage.

What clocks do you run them at? Also what voltage?

It's just interesting that a higher, more powerful GPU that has a 225w max tdp don't need the 6-pin to run while it's younger brother that's supposed to run slower and cooler needs it.

It makes zero sense.  Grin
Sorry, i'm late Cheesy

Hey Fred, the site has been hit or miss at times over the past few days. I assume it's probably ddos, but just wanted to make sure you knew. Anyway sent another donation to help defray the cost of running and protecting for you awesome site! I figure the site is worth at least $30-50/month USD. Maybe you should consider a subscription model? or a "premium" server access with a subscription, it's financially painful when your server does not respond. Just food for thought

Hey, thanks for the support Smiley
New server infrastracture is coming, but we still have to manage for like 2 or 3 weeks.
Problems got even weirder after OVH crapped out yesterday.

After new server, mobile version, there will be time for nicer upgrades. Maybe even a proper API with keys and stuff Cheesy

@WhyMe
Think there is a misunderstanding. Calculation for inactive coins doesnt make any sense.

I was talking about a list of all coins and its available at:
https://whattomine.com/calculators.json

i know not having all data for calculation is not possible, but it show us coins you are working on Smiley
Like ETN on last days for exemple.

Any news on a page regrouping all coins, including those in test or not active, as discussed few pages ago ?
Thanks
386  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / What about the 1070ti ? on: November 07, 2017, 01:35:16 PM
Hi there,

anyone is using the new 1070ti ?
What numbers can we hope ?
Thanks

391  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v9.8 (Windows/Linux) on: August 11, 2017, 06:42:49 PM
Hi,

Firstly, i apologize for my poor English. I do Ethereum mining with 1x R9 280X Dual-X model GPU, but I get a lower performance than other miners with same GPU. I get about 14.550 Mh/s. Is it normal for R9 280x or am i doing something wrong? Thank you.

--------

OC values I used; 1220 MHz GPU Clock // 1500 MHz Memory Clock.

GPU Driver Version; Crimson ReLive 17.7.2

Rig Specs;

AMD fx-6100
600W Power Supply
8 GB RAM

My bat file;
setx GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 0
setx GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool SERVER -ewal ADRESS.RIGNAME -epsw x -dcri 37 -etha 0 -asm 1
It's normal on ETH/ETC.
Try UBQ/MUSIC/... and you will get 25MHs+

Someone pls put memory in order, from best to worst:
samsung, micron, hynix, elpida
From my xp, there is no really rules.
I've only Samsung and Hynix, and i've good and bad values in both.
My best cards are on Samsung.

No, not at this moment.
Try harder. Smiley Mine Fury is making 3$/day.
I've only RXs
395  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Signatum - New Algorithm - Fair Launch - No Premine - Cryptopia on: August 04, 2017, 12:57:01 PM
There is a working miner for AMD, not the most brilliant hashrates but it works Smiley
Who need the miner without competitive hashrates? For 1$ profit. There are much more profitable coins/algo for Reds.
No, not at this moment.
396  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Whattomine - profitability website with basic json. on: July 30, 2017, 11:37:24 PM
Just tested DNR with 100MHs.
In 1h, pool gives me 0.3153DNR.
For 24h, it's ~7.5DNR
Your formula gives me ~6.5DNR ( with 1 diff value of course )
So, your formula is not so bad Smiley
397  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Whattomine - profitability website with basic json. on: July 26, 2017, 11:31:06 PM
First, many thanks for your job !

I'm using your data to make my own profitability tool for my rigs Smiley

How can we obtain full json coin list, including those in "testing" ( like SIGT ) ?
( to automatically know last coins added )

Thanks !!!

EDIT : why DNR has exchange rate 0 ? it's active and has real value on Cryptopia
398  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v9.6 (Windows/Linux) on: June 29, 2017, 04:13:07 PM
is there any problems with 9.6?
my rig started to crash more often after I upgraded to 9.6 from 9.5

Same here, upgraded from 9.4/9.5 to 9.6 on some rigs, 2 of them are ok under 9.6, but 1 crashed under 9.6, back under 9.4 for this rig.
399  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: AMD Rebrand - RX570 / RX580 - Official Thread on: June 14, 2017, 07:15:02 PM
Certainly too high default voltage and frequency !

@Claymore

Is it known we need to launch 2 times miner to apply frequencies and voltages on RX when using -cclock -mclock -cvddc and -mvddc on commande line ?
Thanks
