361  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is Open Bazaar up and running ? on: April 09, 2015, 12:39:38 PM
No. It's still in development as are a few other decentralized markets and exchanges. I'm sure when it goes live this forum will be packed full of threads and discussion about it. I'm quite excited for them personally.

what other decentralized markets like OB are opening up?

www.nxtfreemarket.com has been running for a few months.

No one seems interested in legitimate 'ebay' style sites, they only get popular selling drugs, guns etc..
362  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Would you buy a closed source crypto? on: April 09, 2015, 10:55:11 AM
Even if it promised you great things? How long can a crypto survive being closed source? Is it recommended? Can it be compatible with the 'culture' of crypto today?

Answers on a postcard  Grin
363  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NXT coin - A total scam? on: April 09, 2015, 10:21:15 AM
what's NxT doing other than thinking of the next scam?

...Besides that obvious fraudulent nature of the whole NXT operation...

...NXT users that a shady scam operation ...

No wonder this NXT shit is going down quickly.

Links that support any of this? It would be impolite to ignore me or refuse the request  Wink I'm a patient man. I have asked before but with no reply.
364  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NXT coin - A total scam? on: April 09, 2015, 10:16:44 AM
Where is the money.

Good question. Do you have blockchain links to show where it is? Must be hard to hide tens of millions in crypto, let alone move it into fiat. Should be easy to find.
365  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NXT coin - A total scam? on: April 09, 2015, 10:15:58 AM
achim, you spoiled it! Those links are usually Taunsew's next move  Cheesy Maybe you'll force him to come up with some new material  Grin

Garzik is a highly respectable Bitcoin developer and you guys defame him your forum, where you censor / delete comments.   Cheesy  Garzik is cutting business deals and doing a lot of great thing - what's NxT doing other than thinking of the next scam?   Huh

Going into space?

Any proof of censor / delete on nxtforum? Sorry! I forgot you don't do proof, just claims and 90s clipart  Cheesy
367  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NXT coin - A total scam? on: April 09, 2015, 10:01:48 AM
Nxt doesn't control twitter. Accept it.
368  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NXT coin - A total scam? on: April 09, 2015, 09:44:41 AM
The difference...

there is evidence that UtopianFuture is a liar and scammer, who has justly earned this reputation in crypto. His name is already etched in crypto and NEM history as a fraudster who used people's desires for a better world against them to enrich himself at their expense. Could he have gotten any lower?

Where is the evidence for Nxt, or you hoping to throw enough sh!t and some of it will (eventually, as you have been trying for more than 1 year now  Cheesy ) stick?

NxT stole $10,000,000s

Evidence is all there with volume analysis and the premine held (sold under false pretenses) by NxT inside group who lied, manipulated, frauded, scammed and stole from many thousands of innocent victims.

I trust Jeff Garzik, he is a reputable and trustable Bitcoin developer who is a public figure and has his identity known, if he says NxT is a scam then NxT is a scam.

Quote
NxT stole $10,000,000s

Links? Blockchain data would be good of the volume analysis.  (I don't think it is sticking TS)

Jeff Garzik was shown to know nothing of Java and was heavily damaged by the whole affair. See it, blow by blow here (twitter links included): https://nxtforum.org/general-discussion/a-longer-reply-to-jeff-garzik/
(how many times have we done this dance now Taunsew?  Cheesy Cheesy Why do you think it will stick now when it hasn't before?  Cheesy Repeating the same thing over and over won't change history)
369  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NXT coin - A total scam? on: April 09, 2015, 09:38:43 AM
The handful people who promote and financially benefit from the various crimes from the beginning regarding to NXT (fraud and illegal securities offerings just to mention two)

Links?

*snip*... please provide evidence that I am "a well known scammer" and where I have been selling anything "really really hard". Thanks for your time  Cheesy

Ok, I'll leave you with "Smaragda the destroyer" and his selective blindness  Cheesy

P.S. Maybe gimre mistook Nxt for Qora? They were closed source for more than 6 months. That must be it.

No one responded.
WTF do you call this?   Undecided

Nxt waited over 6 months, we're gonna wait a bit longer.

Nxt didn't wait 6 months. BCNext waited 0 days/min/sec from when the first Java file was posted as it was unobfuscated. To a Java dev like gimre (IIRC), Nxt has never been closed source. So why would gimre want to try and hide behind Nxt like that?

Read it again...  over 6 months...  we're gonna wait a bit longer...   Roll Eyes

I read it again. It is still isn't true.

Maybe it should say "The devs have decided to keep NEM closed source for over 6 months"?

You have to as you are trying to bring new money into your quickly drying out money supply.

I have data that suggests otherwise  Cheesy

All right then, enjoy the ride and your sustainable operation until you can.

We have seen that before, even in crypto, (remember Bitpay and Mintpal), that the scammers like yourself felt invincible, but then the end still came in one form or other. I predict in your case it will be in the form of law enforcement. That's for sure, with your shady IPO and asset nonsense you provide law enforcement with an endless material to press charge against all fuckers who benefits from the operation.

I don't remember Bitpay or Mintpal, 1-3 month affairs with the central guys running off with the money at the first sign of trouble I'd wager?

It's common practice to publish source code

Nxt waited over 6 months, we're gonna wait a bit longer.

Strange history book you have there.. especially for someone capable of decompiling unobfuscated Java class files  Undecided

Why in the FUCK are you asking again then?   Undecided

So when is NEM going open source?

History shows coins that that stay closed source too long often don't get acceptance in crypto.

Nxt waited over 6 months, we're gonna wait a bit longer.

Pop quiz: was the first Nxt Java file obfuscated?

The decision to stay closed source is the devs but trying to use Nxt the precedent in the face of the evidence... hmmm..  Undecided
377  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NXT coin - A total scam? on: April 09, 2015, 09:02:33 AM
One thing is sure, the new money is drying out quite apparently and therefore how hopeless NXT is will be obvious for everyone very soon.

Any ETA? I have been seeing "(very) soon" for a whole year already.

No, what you have been seeing in the last few months is that your ponzi being collapsing and therefore you are trying really-really hard to keep the operation alive.

Links to support this?   Wink

Why are you ignoring my posts, does the truth hurt?

Yer, ideas starting with those that believe in them, nurture them, provide value to people's lives and then profiting from them are blatant scams. Damn you Bill Gates  Angry Why didn't you just fail instead of changing the world. Curses!

There are very few proven scammers in crypto. An obvious on is UtopianFuture in NEM, he defrauded hundreds of people and scammed them out of tens of thousands of dollars. It is a matter of historical record. They claim to have removed all his sockpuppets but the insiders could easily have overlooked his sockpuppet stakes (and their own, if they were so inclined as their associate).

Come-from-Beyond proposed a way for them to check this independently but they refused. They won't even name the insider who named a list of of accounts he said were sockpuppets, then they took a centralized decision to wipe them out of the genesis block and keep the stakes uncirculated. They could have rewarded the loyal followers with higher stakes.

Why weren't you objecting to the two month 'IPO' when Nxt was just an idea, with no money or backers? You talk as though Nxt was a sure thing to make everyone millions. It is quite flattering actually.
