1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does crypto offer riches overnight? on: August 30, 2018, 10:09:25 AM
This is the basic knowledge we should know about crypto to sace us from the numerous complaints we often see here. People have the idea of get rich soon and so get disappointed as the value fall. Patience is the key.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are you selling your altcoins so soon? on: August 30, 2018, 10:06:55 AM
The fact is one choose to sell or hodl base on the potential of the altcoin. Most of the coins turn to lose their value and so it only makes business sense to sell. However, it is good to hodl good and potential coins.
3  Economy / Speculation / Re: Has Bitcoin reached its goal? on: August 30, 2018, 10:02:01 AM
I think bt was created to decentralise financial services and that is actually happening and so right from the beginning btc bas achieve it majn goal. With respect to its use, though it has not been legalised in many countries but we can't dispute the fact that it is globally use now mostly for online transactions. As more organisations accept btc, we will one day get there. It is only a matter of time
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People call bitcoin a fraud or ponzi scheme on: August 30, 2018, 09:46:58 AM
Maybe my definition of ponzi scheme is wrong otherwise there is no link between btc and ponzi scheme. This tells you nothing but the fact that those individuals lack absolute knowledge in btc. Why worry about their comments then??
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Samsung is going to accept Bitcoin on: August 29, 2018, 07:02:40 AM
This is absolutely a good news. Samsung is a big and reputable company and adds to the reputation of crypto. Soon people will come into acceptance and mass adoption will happen across the globe
6  Economy / Speculation / Re: will the beginning of 2019 btc rise? on: August 29, 2018, 06:56:53 AM
This year hasn't been good for crypto. Though we are still not at the end of the year. Personally, I think first month of 2019 will be a very good month for crypto.
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I bought bitcoin at $20k last year on: August 29, 2018, 06:50:37 AM
It is quite pathetic to hear but I think Btc still has a future despite the dip. It was not expected to see btc go that high last year and so no one can actually tell if it will go even higher above 20k. I think you can only hodl for now.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: There are too many new Token, new project on: August 28, 2018, 09:30:06 AM
I don't think we can participate in all ICOs no matter what. You can just participate in some few and you inability to locate some good projects cannot br blamed on the fact that there are several projects out there. Maybe, you couldn't search well enough.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are bounty managers to be blamed? on: August 28, 2018, 09:27:18 AM
I don't think we can blame them entirely for scam projects but they can't be left out completely as well. Afterall, they presented the work to us and as part of their duties should have confirmed the legidity of the project before managing the bounty campaign
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to avoid ICO scam on: August 28, 2018, 09:24:28 AM
I think this is something we all yearn for: a sure way to detect scam ICO but as it stands now, I don't think there is that way. What we can do is to go by the already known ways; consider the team, the idea etc.
I will always say that before you invest, study the tean for quite some time. Don't just invest as soon as you are introduced to it.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto is dangerous.... on: August 28, 2018, 09:19:27 AM
Wow!! Dangerous yo think???
I think it is risky instead but not dangerous. It is risky in the sense that you can lose your investment but to say it is dangerous because of poor management on your part, I don't agree.
People do crypto and are involve in other real jobs or work and it works out fine for them. I think it is just a matter of knowing when to pause.
12  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin continue to fall this year? on: August 28, 2018, 09:16:17 AM
I tink it is very hard to tell whether btc will continue to fall. Personally, after btc went up to $8000 I thought that was the beginning of the bull run and never expected a fall back again.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Airdrops and Bounties useful? on: August 26, 2018, 10:36:13 PM
For airdrop, I agree with you but for bounty, I think you should reconsider your words. People make significant amount of dollars from bounty campaign. Not all bounty campaign may give you that much but definitely good ones pay off.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Token goes down. Wait or sell? on: August 26, 2018, 10:34:02 PM
We mostly blame bounty hunters for a fall in ICO price soon after listing but the fact is what percentage of the total supply goes yo bounty hunters? Very small portion.
Personally, I love to invest in projects which I believe will hit the moon so I don't worry if the price goes low after listing. I wait till  it rises and then I can make some good profit.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Knowledge is the foundation on: August 25, 2018, 06:09:55 PM
I agree with you perfectly. In everything knowledge is the key. In crypto there are a lot of dynamics thet require that one understands it in order to successfully navigate around.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Forget the past and move ahead on: August 25, 2018, 05:49:21 PM
Personally, I believe that if we have patience we will encounter less lost. Sometimes we panic and sell when the price begins to fall. However, if per what ever reason we run a loss, just like you said, we need to focus on the other available opportunities and explore to our advantages.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Forget the past and move ahead on: August 25, 2018, 10:18:01 AM
This piece of advice is full of sense. If we bother much on the loss we may even end up exiting the crypto world at the wrong time. The future holds the best opportunity.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not panic on: August 25, 2018, 10:15:12 AM
I think altcoins can only gain independence when they can be traded against each other without btc been the intermediary as it is happening now. Until this happens, altcoins will always depend on btc for a rise or fall of its value.
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Samsung says that smartphones are the safest way to store cryptocurrencies on: August 25, 2018, 10:10:46 AM
The idea is amazing and I think it will be more convenient and easy to use but the big question is ; how to restore your wallet in the event that the phone gets lost or spoilt. If there can be a means to restore it in such circumstances then no doubt it is the best way to store cryptocurrency.
20  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is this the end of Bitcoin ? on: August 25, 2018, 10:04:13 AM
End of btc you say?Huh
This is not the first time the market is behaving this way. At least, btc has shown several times that it can resurrect from  a very deep falls. I think this moment is rather a buying opportunity to earn more as the market reverses for good.
