Where are you located? UK? Also, your connection URL is incorrect on your .../static page... it reads: "URL: http://p2p. miner-man.com:9022" UK yes, URL fixed. Your IP geo-location and whois info shows Amsterdam...? Sorry... not trying to call you out on anything, it's just that I'm already connected to a node in Amsterdam with good results and low latency, so if I'm going to switch it needs to be significantly closer... significantly lower ping... Ahh sorry yes I'm in UK but VPS is in Amsterdam, closest i could get with DigitalOcean atm.

What kind of specs would a server need to run a p2pool say with a couple of hundred users?
|
|
|
you need to announce a 1M bounty to be added to cryptsy. I wonder how long it would take then...
Good idea might tempt BigVern.

Any dumping is being done by multipools and that will be stopped at the end of the week with the mandatory wallet update.

Someone please explain to me: What the f*ck is going on ?
Large dump to the ground coming later today from twitter group. Take advantage of it. Sell your coins, take the btc you make on the sale, and place your buy orders near the bottom. You'll earn back a lot more coins than you started with. Ignore, trying to create panic so he can buy cheap.

Lost 75% of its peak value, those that bought in at $8 are never going to see there money back, infact if you bought at $5 your stuffed. Plenty of other ASIC resistant coins coming out now, nothing unique about Vert any more.

Been hit again by hashco Round # Coin Length Mature Blocks Mature Coins 7899 DGB 55 minutes 74 592000.08000000 when price rise?
Not until the the retarget time is changed to stop multipools joining and then dumping.

Well, i bet Mt.Gox did some nasty income too off their customers.... i'm just saying it would be bad for digibytecoin if there would be a dump on cryptsy
If people want to dump they will do it on coinmarket, all the multipools are dumping daily anyway. One of the reasons why the price as gone down and is staying down.

Great news Digibyte, really frustrating when they jump on and mine for anywhere from 10 mins to 1 hour it seems from looking at hashco, pump the diff up and then move on to the next coin, once the diff drops they jump back on. Look at the stats below from hashco for the last round 10 mins ago
round coin length blocks coins 7786 DGB 1 hour 83 664000.20000000
That is 664000 DGB that will be dumped at the lowest price on coinmarket, they will under cut the lowest price on there. Just think with a few multi pools doing this it really has a damaging effect on the coin and price.

Current diff 11, next estimated diff 27. Gotta love these multi pools, the problem is they are keeping the price down since they automatically dump the generated DGB at the lowest possible price. They will let us work hard now to drop the diff and then they jump back on, crap. All these new ASIC resistant coins coming out really seem to be taking off quickly, loads mining Vert, Panda ect. Get Kimoto Gravity Well going at least before it is to late, your users are telling you to do it. Multi pools will kill this coin if you let them. edit to add: Difficulty 32.34518060 Est Next Difficulty 86.44591697 (Change in 142 Blocks)

Give DGB some love and add it, should of been added by now.

Net hash rate atm is 1033.96 Mh/z that seems very low for a 1 month old coin, diff always hovers around 16, if it goes higher it comes back down once multi pools pull off. Doesn't seem to be making the progress it should, not enough people mining it. It seems to just have a small army of loyal supporters and that is it, not much growth.
|
|

Maybe the fact that you premined
You might of hit the nail right on the head there, seems Cryptsy dislike coins that premine large amounts. All the coins that have been recently added that i have checked have only premined a few blocks to test or premined a very small amount for giveaways. DGB are still holding onto a lot of premined coins, not going to get on Cryptsy imo.

Problem -> Poll Spammers Solution -> An official forum with moderators? (digibyte.co/forum ?) They have a forum http://digibytetalk.com/ not many people use it.
|
|
|
This thread is mostly dead apart from pool spammers, the diff is very low apart from when multi pools attack and it just isn't going anywhere atm. Don't know why, Cryptsy don't want it for some reason (probably because they have been hounded) but have listed much newer coins that have less value.

uhum is going down, sell all now before is too late
You were right, price crashing back down.
|
|

They have done it to hold the price until after block halving.
Rubbish True, anyones Doge balances been refunded? nope they are all frozen and will be until after block halving. They like to manipulate the price of various coins.
