1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is ethereum investment for future ?? on: June 22, 2020, 10:58:38 PM
many people believe in ethereum and many make ethereum a long-term investment, many believe that after the launch of 2.0 the price of ethereum will increase, I also hold ethereum but not in large quantities.
ETH is really the best among altcoins, for that reason most investors believe in ETH. l agree with your opinion most of them would prefer investing in ETH in the long term. That is why ETH is the best choice for long term investing. ETH2.0 will effect so great to the price of ETH and l think it is the best time to collect some ETH for making a good profit in the future.

When I first got into crypto, that's my general sentiment too about ETH. But when ETH's value went down hard, my support came crashing the same path as well. Lately though, ever since the bitcoin halving, I had a change of heart and I hope that ETH 2.0 will be the key towards making ETH a good investment for the future indeed.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin do you trust, BNB or ETH? on: June 22, 2020, 10:52:08 PM
Aside from market capitalization alone, I vote and trust ETH more than BNB. Also, I've been using ETH for the longest time, I've seen their most recent ups and downs too. And most recently, ETH is gaining some traction once again.
3  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Tensions brewing between Asian Countries!!! on: June 22, 2020, 10:39:39 PM
Tensions are actually brewing throughout the whole world instead, not just between Asian countries. Although I get your point, I'm just stating a fact based on my own observations right now as well.
4  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do Black lives matter or Do all lives matter? on: June 22, 2020, 10:34:16 PM
Honestly, there won't be cries for BLM if there wasn't any injustice to the handling of George Floyd's arrest which led to his death instead.

Although I voted (above) for All Lives Matter, mostly because I am not actually Black, but it doesn't remove the fact that I support their cries and calls towards attaining justice.

Also, the various crimes of indifference committed against Blacks on a daily basis in the United States of America has blown the matter out of proportion, because it's becoming pretty obvious and rampant lately.

More importantly, racism is defined as "a belief that race is the primary determinant of human traits and capacities and that racial differences produce an inherent superiority of a particular race."

And if you're not oblivious to the fact, then you are most likely contributing to the propagation of this continuing problem as well.
5  Other / Off-topic / Re: Does true love exist? on: June 22, 2020, 10:00:14 PM
"If you love someone, set them free. If they come back, they’re yours; if they don’t, they never were."

In my opinion, this is a perfect example that true love exist, because it is always giving and it's not selfish to receive instead.
6  Other / Off-topic / Re: how do you makes happiness everyday? on: June 22, 2020, 09:56:04 PM
It's either you give happiness to others and/or you'd rather want to be happy for yourself instead.
7  Other / Off-topic / Re: What are you listening to RIGHT NOW? on: June 22, 2020, 09:51:59 PM
"Oceans (Where Feet May Fail)" by Hillsong UNITED
8  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bike drive and car drive, which is your favourite? on: June 22, 2020, 09:48:49 PM
Guess you mean bicycle... or do you mean the regular bikes with engines?
I like bikes(bicycles?). I had one I nolonger own now, that I usually drive to different places, but I found abit difficult to always use on steep express roads. That's probably one of the reasons I nolonger use it.
The peddling features are great for exercising the body... you come home feeling relaxed & in good mood after exercising through a calm/natural places. Hopefully I will find one with engine that is fuel by solar/clean-renewable for occasionally climbing of difficult hills and places.
Bike mean not bicycle (that's means motor bike).
Otherwise If i were talking about bicycle, then there would be a mention. However, I have mentioned motor bike here and it's one of my favorites. But of course it is not good for our body even bicycle is very convenient for our body.

I'm just glad that OP was able to finally clarify the matter once and for all. Cool Grin At least, from this point onwards there won't be any confusion anymore.
9  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why hasn't Bitcoin's meteoric price rise spurred research in time travel? on: June 22, 2020, 09:36:45 PM
Nobody wants to pay for someone to research time travel, simply because it's just a waste of time. Otherwise, you must do your own research and find out for yourself how far you could go back in time instead.
10  Other / Off-topic / Re: Lockdown depression :( on: June 22, 2020, 09:27:13 PM
Depression is real and is often not diagnosed well enough. It's a good thing though that people are starting to open up a bit regarding this (due to the stigma involved when people openly talk about these issues), because it's always best to have someone to talk when depression happens.
11  Other / Off-topic / Re: How do you handle pain? on: June 22, 2020, 09:21:05 PM
For pain arising from accidents, the initial pain due to impact is usually temporary. But if there's any pain experienced immediately thereafter, you can either self-manage your pain and do self medication or have it checked by a doctor instead, depending on the severity of the pain involved.
12  Other / Off-topic / Re: Porn ad designed to protect children on: June 22, 2020, 08:56:53 PM

Even if it portrays fiction, I think that this should be limited to adult audience still.
Social media, mass media and other types of media can easily be accessed by children these days. If the parents wont be careful and watchful with their kids, they could trigger their own curiosity that will lead them to watch porn.

It serves as a reminder.

I agree. It's always up to the parents regarding how they'd like to limit and/or prevent these sort of things from happening inside they're homes. Granted that these parents are fully aware and are techy enough at least, to figure out what's really best to do, in order to prevent these sort of things to be viewed accidentally by their children.
That is why television shows have a rating and even the films.

Best education and awareness start from home and it's the parent's duty to monitor their children what they've been looking at and what are things that makes them curious. We became child and we know that this is a serious thing.

There's always a time and place for everything. As a parent, you are the primary caregivers and teachers of your children, up until such time that they can decide and understand better for themselves. But until then, parents should be there to monitor and explain to their children regarding what's allowed or not, including what's more important or not to focus on while they're growing up.
13  Other / Off-topic / Re: Online Shopping on: June 22, 2020, 08:46:07 PM
I like to buy things easily...but I'm hesitant because of the possibility that items you purchase have issues on Durability and Value for Money.. What can you say about Online Shopping?
Only use legit shopping sites so if ever there is an issue you can refund the money of change the items purchased.

I agree! Whether it's an international or local site, in order to minimize your exposure to frustrations when doing your online shopping, nothing beats checking if the online shopping website is legit.

Also, if it's an online shopping website with multi-sellers, compare and check their feedback with other sellers also. Although feedback can be fabricated, check their pricing compared with others so you'll have an idea on whether or not a particular seller is legit or not as well.
14  Other / Off-topic / Re: where are you spending your time now? on: June 22, 2020, 08:29:06 PM
I'm spending my quality time now at home with my family for a change.

Sometimes I ponder, other than what COVID-19 has done so far... I always look for the positive side of things instead.

There's always good in every bad situation that we're in, it's just that more often than not, we are overwhelmed with the negativeness that we fail to see the silver lining of the events that happens in our lives.

17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will only the best survive? on: April 08, 2020, 05:46:26 AM
financial system is unstable. Almost all countries are giving "helicopter money" which is printed in huge amounts by governments and banks. Of course in short period of time - it will help, but as I can see in long-term it will cause the inflation, and it is going to "kill" middle class people. Why? 1st, inflation will decrease their saving, 2nd - interesting rates must go up to save the economy. It will make credits much more expensive than they are right now. 3rd - a lots of people will lose their job.

You are absolutely correct. We are sitting on another financial crisis. Last time the banks got bailed out, and bitcoin was created in response. This time the bailout extends further. The deficiences of fiat are revealed yet again. The time for bitcoin is coming... will it be now? Hard to say. Maybe this time it is too early, but yes, soon bitcoin will become the ultimate value store and supplant gold and silver.

The only thing is I would recommend you buy some bitcoin as well as alts. As soon as money starts coming back to crypto, it's likely that bitcoin will lead any price surge. Not definite, of course, just this is usually how it works, and alts follow afterwards.
I'm still relatively new to crypto, but I have the same thoughts as well. I hope that means that I have the same mindset or foresight as you guys have. Cool

Also, I know nothing's for certain but indeed bitcoin, including other up and coming alt coins might become gems after the COVID-19 dust aftermath settles down.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Role of the crypto in the incoming global crisis on: April 08, 2020, 04:19:46 AM
Re: Role of the crypto in the incoming global crisis, based on recent time's of uncertainty from country's whose fiat has been grossly undervalued or devaluated, crypto still served as a currency that could be used and relied upon instead. Although I'm not to privy to the details of how it actually worked for those countries, but that's what I've noticed and observed so far and maybe this is would be the perfect opportunity for crypto to thrive during these times of uncertainty on a global scale more than ever before.
19  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the best Cryptocurrency to Invest? on: April 02, 2020, 08:11:36 AM
Bitcoin is still the king right now and will continue to do so. But I believe a challenger will soon rise above the ashes after we figure out how to resolve and eradicate COVID-19.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][IRX] IRONX - Best in Crypto, Best in Trading, World-Class Exchange on: January 05, 2019, 04:04:44 AM
ANy details yet about staking? I heard that Ironx will include staking as a rewards program.
This is nice. Another way to earn passively as long as you hold IRX. Hope they share details about it soon.

A great way to get people investing in IRONX. This is one requirement that I look for in an ICO, something that can give me a passive income.

Has the team already confirmed this? Having a rewards or bonus structure is one way to boost the ICO.

Are you referring to this referral program (below)? Cool

All investors can take part in our referral program where they can earn up to 15% extra tokens by referring others to participate in the public sale. This is a 5 tier structure which offers the following bonus:

1st Level (Directly Referred by you) = 5%

2nd Level (Referred by your 1st level) = 4%

3rd Level (Referred by your 2nd level) = 3%

4th Level (Referred by your 3rd level) = 2%

5th Level (Referred by your 4th Level) = 1%

Cheers! Wink
