1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the difference between a "coin" and "token"? on: October 18, 2018, 08:31:14 PM
Apart from the difference in their names, and pronunciations, coins and tokens also differ in the way that while coins are a more advanced technology with a blockchain of their, tokens are less advanced, and have to depend on the blockchain technology of coins for their existence, and survival. I hope this helps  Wink
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum back at number two on: October 18, 2018, 08:06:05 PM
I am not surprised that every time that  coin takes over, this coin keeps going back to collect its rightful seat. It goes to show how much of a great coin it is, and how much it is most likely to succeed in the market. It just has to do more than that though, stop making it so easy for these other little coins to snatch its seat from it.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Newsflash: Bitcoin Price Drops $380; Ethereum, Ripple (XRP) Plunge 9% on: October 16, 2018, 07:21:58 PM
These constant updates on price drops are really frustrating and tiring to be quite honest. I'm certain that For once, the public really wants to see an update about a bullish trend, and I sincerely hope that it is pretty soon. I don't know how much more sad news that the public can get before the last straw gets broken.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it the start of the bullrun already? on: October 15, 2018, 12:20:42 PM
I don't think it is. Well, it doesn't even seem like it is. There is still bloodbath on our streets, so that seems more lie the bear days are still having a reign in our midst. It might take a little more time before the bull days come forth. I guess we have to be a little more patient for that to happen, and keep our faith alive.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Girls in the world of crypto currency on: October 11, 2018, 11:42:41 AM
There are a lot of girls in the crypto industry and they are doing so well for themselves. I personally have some female friends that are successful as a result of their involvement in the crypto trade. The part of the financial industry is not limited to men alone, so it shouldn't be so much of a big deal or surprise seeing girls involved in it and doing so well.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: BOUNTY CAMPAIGN ?? on: October 10, 2018, 05:12:30 PM
Bounty campaigns have been a great part of the crypto industry. While it has been a means to promote many of these ICOs, it has also been a means for so many individual to make a few earnings, and this is why I think it is an essential part of the cryptoshere. I don't think it would ever be great if there comes an end to this.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why are you now joining cryptocurrency, where were you in 2009? on: October 10, 2018, 04:28:04 PM
I think to be quite honest, a lot of us were uninformed about cryptocurrencu. Some of us barely knew anything about fintech and related matters. So I think that's enough excuse. There are so many people that are yet to be informed about cryptocurrency still, and the issue of doubt is still one that we cannot overlook.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are your views on cryptocurrencies on: October 09, 2018, 12:57:30 PM
I think that there are still some levels of growth that we need to achieve. There are a lot of things that we might need to adopt, or get rid of, to be able to get to the next stage successfully. With the right ideas and inventions, cryptocurrency will be taking over the financial industry in a few years, and I can't wait to experience all of that.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the good Altcoins to HOLD Long term? on: October 04, 2018, 08:43:49 PM
There are some really good altcoin that are worth hodling for a long term. As a matter of fact, altcoins, are the new best thing for a lot of investors. Many investors have resorted to just investing in altcoins, cos they feel it yields to better profits. I like advising people to invest in ethereum, and Ripple, amongst many other good altcoins.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum lowest price on: October 03, 2018, 10:24:29 PM
This is not the lowest that Ethereum has ever had its price. I know that t feels sad watching the coin sink this low, but this isn't and this cannot be the end of it. I'm certain that this coin will rise above all its challenges soon and bounce back, to recover all that it might have lost, including its high price, and trust of the market people.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Invest in ethereum 2018? on: October 03, 2018, 09:46:10 PM
Yes please. I think that is a genuinely good idea. Like why not? or why wait for a longer time? Ethereum is one of the very top listed coins and best out there that we have in the market, despite its recent experiences, and I believe that it is totally worth investing in. Don't limit yourself please.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DYOR (Do your own research) on: October 01, 2018, 09:30:11 PM
This is very important. It pains me that so many people fail to see the importance in this, ans so;e;y just rely on what others think about the market. A lot of us fail to carry out our own researches, and this is one of the major reasons why we are stagnant in the market. Yes some of these already made researches might help you, but not all the time. You will need to still do your own research.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where do you get your cryptocurrency news? on: September 27, 2018, 09:16:55 PM
Mostly, I get all of the information that I need on this forum. This forum have been really helpful.A lot of this to learn and unlearn, new update on the market daily, and suggestions from all class of people. Other times, I have also found certain telegram channels useful for information regarding cryptocurrency.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Neo and Ethereum. on: September 27, 2018, 05:31:37 PM
These two are quite good coins, and If I was looking to make a choice between both of them for investment, it wouldn't be such an easy one cos I believe that both of them are totally worth it. That both have potential, and are set to take the industry to the very next level, in my opinion.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH is falling and BTC Dominance above 50% now..What do you guys think on: September 25, 2018, 02:43:36 AM
Bitcoin has always been dominating, and I think that this will be on for some time. This is why some people predict that with the fall of bitcoin, the general market will collapse. The price of Ethereum falling has nothing to do with Bitcoin's dominance, even when ethereum was it its highest, it was still so. I don't know if this is a good or bad thing though.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If I invest like around 600 USD in to Ethereum, Is it a good investment? on: September 24, 2018, 01:09:01 AM
Well, nothing really bad with you investing as much as $600,000 in Ethereum. I among many others believe that ethereum is a good coin and is totally worth investing in. However, if I were to be you and I have that much money to invest, I wouldn't be looking at investing in just a single coins. I will choose to invest in several other coins too.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Recent bounty campaigns paying in Ethers? on: September 20, 2018, 01:02:40 AM
I have not really come across any of the bounty programs, that give out their rewards in Ethereum. I find it quite hard to believe that they would really do that. it would be defeating the purpose of the program, which is promoting the ICo. Many bounty campaigns do not pay in ethereum as far as I'm concerned, instead, they pay in their own tokens.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Yearly September Bull Run on: September 20, 2018, 12:42:48 AM
Well, I'm not trying to be negative or anything, but it seems like september is almost running out, and If I must say, we are even noticing something that looks like a bull. As a matter of fact, it seems like the decline in prices keeps increasing by the day. Maybe we might have to wait for a later time for this bull season to actually come.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what is the best airdrop ever? the tokens and price awarded to participats on: September 18, 2018, 11:00:40 AM
I think that the best airdrop ever I have participated in without mincing words, is the PriVcy airdrop. It is still ongoing as a matter of fact, but it is one of the best I have seen in a while, and I super love the project.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are you still afraid of? on: September 17, 2018, 04:02:45 PM
Fear is something innate in the human being, it has always helped us to survive and that is why we have been able to evolve so skillfully, now we do not have the same dangers as before, but our survival often depends on our financial management, so even though there are fewer risks in the market, fear remains a real emotion felt by many investors.
