201  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Let's make more companies to accept bitcoin payment. on: November 22, 2018, 12:18:54 PM
I know so many companies would wish to adopt the blockchain technology but seem  reluctant due to the many issues being posted by the blockchain technology.
For example, the scalability issue, interoperability, anonymous structure and security concerns.
I believe if these blockchain key technologies are improved upon ,many would adopt the blockchain .
202  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Advantages of Investing in an ICO on: November 22, 2018, 12:14:22 PM
There are numerous advantages of investing in icos such as, you get to enjoy high return of profit on your investment.
You need not to posses any skillto be able to invest.
Your investment is determinent on your financial position per time.
You become a shareholder.
203  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I think 2017 was the best Year for Crypto on: November 21, 2018, 04:37:39 PM
Although I joined crypto second quarter of this year , so I do not have an idea what cryptocurrency was like in 2017.
But if the statements and remarks from my friends and from crypto communities is anything to go by, then I can say catergorically that 2017 was the best crypto year so far.
204  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin holders will have to pay their tax? on: November 21, 2018, 04:34:37 PM
If I agree to the assertion that bitcoin holders should pay tax on their holdings.
How will that be actualized in the practical terms, since bitcoin is not under the control of any regulative body etc.
How will capital gain tax be implemented with utmost transperncy and fairness?
205  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will blockchain disappear? on: November 20, 2018, 07:13:36 AM
I do not think blockchain will ever disappear.
Bitcoin has come to stay likewise the blockchain technology.
No matter how unstable the market price of Cryptocurrency may be presently, it doesn't have the capability to make blockchain to disappear.
206  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you want to see for Bitcoin - A stable or a volatile market? on: November 20, 2018, 07:09:59 AM
I wish it can be stable but wishing alone cannot change the nature of Bitcoin which is high volatility.
The high volatility is what makes Bitcoin Bitcoin.
Remove it or make Bitcoin market stable, and you would have succeeded in defeating the purpose of it's creation.

210  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin: Best investment in 2017? on: November 05, 2018, 04:34:19 PM
Yes Bitcoin is the best investment in this 2017 considering that those who bought it earlier 2017 sold at a relatively higher price.
The return on investment was very high.
211  Economy / Economics / Re: What can be done to make bitcoin stable? on: November 04, 2018, 06:10:30 PM
I think the only to get the Bitcoin price stabilized is when it's regulated by the government.
Regulations will make it possible for government to gain full control of Bitcoin and through that, Bitcoin price can be regularized .
But the issue here is can Bitcoin be regularized effectively?
The answer is no.
212  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Opinions and Impressions about bitcoin on: November 03, 2018, 02:53:57 PM
I could remember introducing Bitcoin earlier this year to my colleagues and they both bursted out in laughter followed by sympathetic look.
They said Bitcoin is scam and that i should be very careful so I don't get to loose my money.
I will never forget that experience
213  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think only the rich can make profit from Bitcoin? on: November 03, 2018, 02:46:56 PM
No. I do think the poor can make profit from Bitcoin too , the only thing is that the profit percentage is likely to be little when compared to the profit made by the rich investor who invested big .
Just like when you invest $10,000 made profit of $1000 and another invests $5m and makes profit of $500,000.
214  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Problems with banks you have faced on: November 02, 2018, 10:13:16 AM
The beaurucratic protocols.
Excessive transaction charges.
The bottlenecks to obtaining loans on time.
The attitude of some bank staffs.
I hate the long queues while trying to deposit money....I can't stand those.
The high interest rates on loans and miserable interest rates on lending deposits like fixed investment etc.
215  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bit Coin is a Ponzi Scheme on: November 01, 2018, 08:08:37 AM
I think most of those saying. That Bitcoin is a Ponzi scheme have little or no knowledge about the potentials of Bitcoin and how it works.
Usually, I 'm not one to take this set of people serious because taking them serious and trying to educate them about Bitcoin can induce migraine.
216  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What happens when a wallet file is stolen? on: November 01, 2018, 08:00:04 AM
If your wallet file gets stolen, the best thing anyone could do is just to move on and forget whatever funds you have in there.
There's no known measure for recovery as it is.
So one ought to be very careful and ensure this important details are safely stored and protected against third party unauthorized access.
217  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What do you do with bounty earnings? on: October 31, 2018, 07:47:36 AM
Most often than not,I sell the tokens that. I feel are not worth holding in the long run and buy other altcoins that are a long time hold.
I sell these altcoins whenever I'm pressed for cash to handle  bill payments....which comes up from Time to time.
218  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: More Regulations For Cryptocurrency? on: October 31, 2018, 07:42:21 AM
I understand Bitcoin is a decentralized virtual currency that is its own" central bank"..... meaning that government cannot really be able to control or influence it's activities.
So even if government wants in ,how do they intend asserting control over Bitcoin.
Your guess is as good as mine.
Although I am of the school of thought that regularization would pave way for Mass adoption.....the question remains, how?

220  Economy / Economics / Re: Can human stupidity affect the movement of the market? on: October 30, 2018, 06:21:59 PM
If by "stupidity" you implied the fomo attitude of people believing and acting on every rumour there is......then your assertion is in order.
Nowadays, people rather than verifiying the source of a news starts running with it .....which always results to investors selling off their coins at a miserable price ......which affects the market position adversely in no small measure.
