61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The market has recovered? on: December 19, 2018, 08:04:01 AM
I do not think that tge market has fully recovered considering that both etheruem and bitcoin are still struggling to break out from their current price.
Full recovery of the market may take time to happen, maybe from2019.
62  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency Volatility: Creeping Evil or Essence of Crypto on: December 18, 2018, 07:37:52 AM
Actually I believe that the volatility nature of Cryptocurrency is what makes Cryptocurrency what it is today.
It is an essential part of the cryptocurrency story.
Remove it and the very purpose for the creation of Cryptocurrency would have been defeated.
Volatility is what makes the high return on Cryptocurrency investment over a short period of time possible.
63  Economy / Economics / Re: All times are good to enter crypto - Tim Draper on: December 18, 2018, 07:17:50 AM
I can say it actually depends on your targets and what you want of Cryptocurrency.
For instance if you plan doing a long term investment, any time is good to jump into the Cryptocurrency market but if it's for shirt term investment, you might want to study the price movements so as to determine what appropriate time/price to jump in.
64  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin's volatility is a non-issue on: December 18, 2018, 07:14:08 AM
Yes. I agree completely with you that the volatility of bitcoin is a no issue.
People who do not fully grasp what bitcoin is exactlity and how it functions I believe are those who are making the volatility an issue.
Bitcoin as a decentralized virtual currency has as it's core feature volatility..
Let's try to understand that.
65  Economy / Speculation / Re: Investors are not to panic - game is on? on: December 18, 2018, 07:03:09 AM
Although the market situation in recent times is very frustrating , I think panicking is not the best thing to do by investors.
Instead of panicking, I suggest make use of the trading opportunities available now, even though the profits are not that much, but some people are making a killing doing swing trading.
What about making a lemonade with the condition the market has thrown at us.
66  Economy / Economics / Re: Mistakes That Make You Poor Poor In Cryptocurrency on: December 17, 2018, 02:43:45 PM
There are common mistakes that people make that keeps  them perpetually poor in Cryptocurrency.
Mistakes like fomoing and then jumping into a trade without doing due diligence.
Greediness is another mistake....not taking profit w you see it no matter how little it may be.
Not grabbing opportunities too.
67  Economy / Economics / Re: Who are benefited with cryptocurrency? on: December 17, 2018, 02:33:42 PM
There are so many who have benefited from Cryptocurrency  in general such as traders, investors, bounty hunters, miners etc
But in the present market condition, the big investors refer to as whales in Cryptocurrency parlance are benefiting greatly .
This they achieve by manipulating the market.
68  Economy / Economics / Re: Why spend time in bitcoins? on: December 17, 2018, 07:21:08 AM
I actually do spend time in bitcoin because I consider it a means of earning passive income and it has been helpful as I have been able to sort out some personal financial challenges spending time in bitcoin.
69  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I don`t care about the market. I will HODL to USE! on: December 17, 2018, 07:03:52 AM
I used to panic and sell my holdings at the rising of any rumour even though it's my loss.
But now I prefer to hold pending when market recovers instead of just selling at a loss....which causes more dumping from weak hands and makes for price tank and unstable market.

73  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto replacing fiat? on: December 16, 2018, 07:36:44 AM
I do not think that Cryptocurrency can ever replace Fiat currency.
Because both Cryptocurrency and fiat has different functions, so Cryptocurrency cannot function well as fiat.
It's a decentralized virtual currency while fiat is paper money.

74  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto is a poor form of money for terrorists. on: December 16, 2018, 07:31:51 AM
In 2008 when Satoshi created Bitcoin/ Cryptocurrency, I believe he never intended I usage to be abused the way it's being abused in recent times. Yes. I agree that the annonymous structure of the blockchain makes it easy for some elements to carry out criminal activities using it.
75  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fidelity entering the crypto world on: December 16, 2018, 07:25:36 AM
This is really a good news at this time in the history of Cryptocurrency market and the blockchain technology.
I believe this single development would get other companies earger to get into the Cryptocurrency space .....which will undoubtedly drive adoption rate.
76  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty Campaigns. on: December 15, 2018, 08:38:52 AM
I am yet to receive any token aside the repme token I received from bountysuite earlier on.
The situation is pathetic .
I want to believe that the ico project developers are busy looking for investors.
We should relax and do our tasks as the situation would not be like this perpetually.
77  Economy / Economics / Re: Why spend time in bitcoins? on: December 15, 2018, 08:31:48 AM
I mostly spend my time in bitcoin researching and acquiring knowledge that would help me make some money off Bitcoin.
As a matter of fact, I spend nothing less than 5hrs daily on cryptocurrency.
Might I add that it's been paying I can now  pay some of my bills without depending on hubby for virtually everything.
78  Economy / Economics / Re: the future of crypto is good or bad on: December 15, 2018, 08:27:57 AM
The future of cryptocurrency is good .
The foresighted ones are now taking advantage of the market situation and  bagging more coins they could afford.
This is actually the best time to invest in cryptocurrency to be able to reap high return on investment in no distant time.
79  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do we need bitcoin in the modern world? on: December 15, 2018, 08:23:39 AM
Remember bitcoin is synonymous to the blockchain technology.
Might I add that the blockchain is one of the biggest technologies in recent times that has the capability to distrupt the way and manner businesses operate.
With bitcoin in play, the supply chains of industries, payment system can be greatly improved on.
80  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have you been scammed? How did they approached you? on: December 14, 2018, 08:16:22 AM
I have not been scammed but I almost got scammed early this year.
I opened my mail and saw a message asking that I confirm my etheruem wallet address for onward receipt of an airdrop that I never did applied for.
The money was huge, so I clicked on the link provided, it took me to my eth wallet page ,then it dawned on me that it could be scammers.
