I did a lot of research before joining crypto and i know there are two market seasons (bull market and bear market) which happens in crypto and none of these seasons is permanent. Once we are in the bear market, i'm happily buying more valuable coins because the next season will be the bull market.

I don't think the imposition of tax after the governments accept crypto will be the problem for crypto users because most of crypto users are already paying taxes on the secular jobs. Although the regulations will check the scam ICOs and eliminate the FUD in some investors, cryptocurrency will cease to be decentralized even though the underlining technology is decentralized. The government will manipulate it and control it just as the fiat. Where then will lie the difference between fiat and cryptocurrency? |

Your friend is too optimistic. You should already be at a loss. The future of cryptocurrencies will continue to decline. The cryptocurrency will only rise when a lot of confidence is lost. This is a cruel financial market and we must be careful.
I understand you're making your point out of a loss incurred during this bearish market. However, this does not guarantee your point that the market will continue to decline. Check the market prices now and you will see there is an improvement after sustaining the terrible drop. Cryptocurrency has faced similar and worst moments than this in the past yet there was a bull market in December, 2017. Let's be patient. |

The recent drop in market caused a great turmoil in the crypto space. But it appears that most crypto users are always looking at the negative side whenever the market goes down. It is rather smart and profitable to look at the positive side whenever the market goes down in order to seize the opportunity and buy the dips which offers relatively low prices. Of course, you own the final decision to whatever step you intend to make. But the "give up" shouldn't be so quick like this. ICOs are good avenues of making money from crypto although i believe there have been instances where your investment in some ICOs yield apparently nothing. It is normal to most beginners in crypto. Not all ICOs are worthless, it takes thorough research to come across good ICOs. I can attest to the fact that i have invested in a couple of ICOs and about 80% yielded more than 100% after listing on the market which catered for my 20% losses in other ICOs. |

I don't see the many cryptocurrencies to be a problem for the market if all coins are capable to meet their expectations. Many coins on the market only shows how the crypto space is growing wide and it is very likely that soon, countries will integrate the utilization of the Blockchain technology and generate their own cryptocurrencies to faciliate payments within the country and also to boost their economy.
