161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Happy Birthday ETH on: December 08, 2019, 05:18:31 PM
I'm glad there are few people still remember the day of ethereum since it was been ignore by many of investors because of its price get dump. Since altcoins follow bitcoin for its price has drop and surely affected for other coins.
You say cheap ETH prices?
in my opinion you need to look at the ETH price when it first appeared. don't always look when the price is ETH $ 1k  Roll Eyes
Ethereum is not cheap at all but in the beginning, the price was low. It was not that hard to buy ethereum as it is now.  In the realm f altcoins, ethereum is leader in all aspects.  And that and the guy just said that ethereum dumps with time. What I think is, it is not just all other coins that follow bitcoin but ethereum is in this list too. It also highly depends on bitcoin for moving forward and growing.
162  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto Taxation on: December 08, 2019, 04:33:28 PM
I think that when the government taxes something, it should give equal value rights, insurance funds and legal protection. Otherwise, it's just a robbery.
Unfortunately, it's flat out robbery. All they care about is to have their pockets filled, and whenever you want to pay your taxes and make a mistake, they will threaten you with hefty fines and possibly even prison time.

The sad part is that when you are eligible for a tax return, it could take months to actually receive it (complaining will not work), while if they think you owe them money, they want it right away and you can't even be a day too late.
Taxation can be a very beneficial system for improving lives of common people and their economical standards but the problem is corrupted governments who do not care in the least about the citizens. Politicians are common people like others before they join politics, but afterwards become landlords by robbing national banks. All the existing methods have failed and only bitcoin and altcoins can resolve financial problems.
163  Economy / Economics / Re: Countries testing digital assets in 2020 on: December 08, 2019, 04:02:11 PM
I was also very surprised that China is not in list but after reading too many posts about this now feeling they are already too much ahead so they not need to be in this list but still op missing few countries those now understanding this technology and its effects which are helping to create too many good ways for humanity as Germany, New Zealand already giving too many soft policies for this crypto world hopefully we will have some more in near future.
China, Russia, and Japan will be the countries that have the best blockchain technology,
I don't know about the United States, it seems like they have no interest here
Do not take the present super power that lightly. United State is the hub of technology. All the giants are there. Google, Amazon, Facebook, Microsoft, IBM, Apple, NASA, NSA and the list goes on. In my opinion, it will exceed all other countries in blockchain technology too. These companies hire the best of the best tech geeks from all over the world. Crypto currencies and blockchain are going to have good future with this country.
164  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling with Fiat or Crypto? on: December 05, 2019, 06:14:58 PM
I depend on the situation, if I do online gambling I use crypto which in my opinion is simpler and easier when betting online gambling.
and if I do traditional or real gambling I use fiat to bet, and I usually play card gambling with fiat bets on the table.

Maybe the reason for that is because, if you are in a casino, you wouldn't really took off your phone to scan and bet your funds right? To play in a legit casino, you need chips, you need tangible object to bet because that is one part of what casino is providing their gamblers, which is the excitement in winning and exchanging the chips they have to money.
Everyone has his own taste and definitely, the traditional casinos are preferred by gamblers due to the environments it has to present. With an amazing audience, gamblers enjoy outcomes more. Then there are some people who like to stay at their homes and experience the world. Online gambling is best for people who prefer silence and a bit of privacy. Besides, online gambling offers crypto coins too.
165  Economy / Economics / Re: Hi Excuse me Are currencies a "store of value on: December 05, 2019, 05:51:45 PM
Depends on the crypto. Fiat tend to inflate since every bow and then they'd pump the economy full of new cash. Fiat these days are basically floating and not backed by anything physical.

I can only talk about bitcoins but so far in the long term it kept its value - so far. Disregarding the volatility of course. I would say it's good store of value but it's OK as an additional store. So fiat savings, cypto and metals.
People who are looking for a good settled future should consider bitcoin as their top savior and helper because only this coin can grant their wishes. Other coins do not hold such abilities. Crypto currencies are going to become medium of exchange in future but at the moment, due to little awareness among people, it would require some item. However, things are getting better for bitcoin and it is the best investment at the moment.
166  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin Over? on: December 05, 2019, 03:12:37 PM
Good question and I am scared to give a clear answer to this. all Bitcoin holders want to know what is going to happen to Bitcoin. I think Since as Bitcoin market is one of the most volatile we often see some price fluctuations. Bitcoin has already fallen to $3,500 and raised to $14,000. Now the bitcoin rate is $7,200. If we could see the repeat of the last two rallies, Bitcoin could rise to $60,000 before crashing 85% again.

However, today’s crypto market is far different from the ones in 2013 and 2015. Now capitalization of Bitcoin reaches 200 billion USD. It's far larger than in 2013, it was about 1 billion USD. a lot has been changed. in general, I suppose Bitcoin won't become a mainstream payment mechanism, but it will remain a good hedging investment.
You have full right to share your opinion with other members. Either they will agree or disagree, they cannot do anything more than these. Those who believe in bitcoin are going to stay with it regardless of how much alone they become and people that are against bitcoin would welcome lies. Bitcoin is the future of money and all the coins are going to be ruled by it forever. It has the brightest future of all assets too.
167  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the weirdest thing you have seen for sale for Bitcoin? on: December 05, 2019, 02:42:02 PM
I've seen worse like men selling their semen, young girls selling virginity, women selling their wombs (they're called surrogates).
You might think there's no demand but the reality is different. Semen is popular among lesbians who want to have a kid "together", rich old guys pay a lot of money for virginity, surrogates are especially popular in poor countries...
Yes but isn't it really weird to buy semen to a complete stranger and from online. You never know whether a person is sick or not. If ever, I were to buy one, I'd rather choose someone I know or someone I can trust I guess?

Virginity? Sad but yes, that's been a thing... Rather than finding it weird, I feel bad for those people.
People who do such things do pay for their actions with time. Whatever we send in to universe, whether good or bad, it comes back to us because this is the law. However, people who do such stuff are at least not killing any other person. If anyone will suffer, it would be them. In this world, everything has demand. The holder just needs to it the right market. Still, nothing could be more weird than buying pizza with a lot of bitcoin.
168  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are you holding Bitcoin? on: December 03, 2019, 03:30:20 PM
I hold bitcoins until the Bitcoin price rises to $50,000. I remain optimistic Bitcoin is resistant to the fore. In addition, Bitcoin approached halving 2020. The price will automatically rise higher.
It's the best way to invest in bitcoin when you we don't have time to watch the market and we don't mind about the money that we invest. We gamble our life in the future, either we'll be rich if the bitcoin price really reach that price, or if won't at least we try better than not doing anything

In my honest opinion, there is no gambling in this act. Anyone who is investing in bitcoin at the movement will enjoy a secure and rich future. Gambling is all about luck but about bitcoin when expert say holds the brightest future, it is done on the basis of facts. The longer a holder keep this asset in his pocket, the juicier gets the profit amount. Within next half decade, bitcoin will be easily 50k dollars.
169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Will Not Be a Medium of Exchange on: December 03, 2019, 03:08:36 PM
How about eth and xrp? Somehow thesee two are primary contender for the btc. Well the marketcap seems to be not marching towards btc but when it comes to different aspect I think technically these two are way better than btc. I'm not saying they can overwhelm btc price that much but the tech itself are proven useful. Especially eth network.

This is seriously really strange thread, xrp better then btc? In what way? They can close xrp if they want, it has nothing on bitcoin. Bitcoin doesn't need permissions and it can't be shut down.
I hold the same opinion as you in this regard. Ripple is not better than bitcoin in anyway. Indeed it is the altcoin that has the highest buying rate among altcoins but that does not make it the number one digital currencies. Let us look at the market capital of both coins as this factor counts the most in showing progress and worth of something. Bitcoin is far above than that of ripple. It is a centralized coin too.
170  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I'm a full-time crypto trader. Here're my recent trades & answers to questions on: December 03, 2019, 02:48:08 PM

The price on a large scale remains in a long-term bearish channel since the beginning of the summer.
It seems to continue fluctuating inside it. I'm rather bearish , even regarding short-term bullish impulses. till the upper border breakout.
Bitcoin slowly and gradually has decreased its peak over the last few months and there is no doubt that the market is going through a downfall since then. We all know about the halving which will be taking place in May of 2020 and before that, the bitcoin value decreases and afterwards increases greatly. More interesting is the pattern in the fluctuations which is very interesting. And trader with this graph can make huge earnings.
171  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin goes down, no new rich people anymore on: December 03, 2019, 01:36:22 PM
its not depend on bitcoin price, as long as you can take the advantage from crypto, like trading, investing, or maybe mining, you can be rich. what you need is hardwork.
i think, what you mean is no new rich people instantly.
If you have the skills you can make money with trading and that means you need to invest in the market, mining is a heavy investment thing and it is not that easy to invest in mining unless you have the resources and the space and you need to invest a huge amount of money if you are planning to invest in mining bitcoin and you cannot expect to get rich instantly with any market.
Mining is no doubt the dream job of crypto holders because it brings the most benefits but to accomplish this, a person needs to either have a quantum computer or a great mine of electronic devices that actually do this job. First these tools need to be bough, then configured and a cooling environment needs to be set up too to keep them calm, which eventually gives huge electricity bills.
172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to invest my $1.5K? on: December 02, 2019, 04:42:19 PM
From a long term perspective Bitcoin is relatively good value whenever it dips down to this range and its done so a few times recently, and Ethereum also is great value at its price range, so you can't go wrong choosing those and maybe a moderately riskier asset but do your own research into what types of assets are returning the highest ROI in the market at the present moment
Bitcoin is the best for all types of investments, whether long or short but the benefit increases with the passage of time so it is recommended to hold on the asset for a long time. Bitcoin is the most volatile currency that has highest market capital among all coins. Ethereum comes next to it. If a person is looking for altcoins then he is obliged to hold king of altcoins for earning some money with time.
173  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Martingale and Roulette on: December 02, 2019, 04:17:11 PM
are you simply promoting your site ? but dont worry because your site is still helpful since it was only a strategy or guides to help gamblers play better  . it was a good idea to apply martingale method on roullets because before i think martingale was only applicable on dice game's but why not on roullete right ? dice and roullete were still close to each other because both games are somehow luck dependent  . you just need to prepare a big balance because martingale is risky on low bankrolls  .
Not really against the promotion but certainly there are no strategies in gambling world to win random games. Dice and roulette are the famous gambling games that totally depend on luck. With these games, no one can make a claim to hit a trick of winning. Not only luck, sometimes the house also manipulates outcomes as per its desires. Martingale does not work at all and is more of a recovery idea.
174  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have You Counted Or Estimate All Your Losses And.... on: December 02, 2019, 03:53:01 PM
Would it just make our feeling worse if we care about our losses? Because for me the only reason why loss are important is for us to avoid getting that lost again overtime. And if just go back to that problem often, it will just put us in a psychological state where we could not focus on thinking positive and be stuck on that losses.
Its not necessary to count your losses because it will only bring sad memories or regrets. Even you remember or estimated it all what good can it bring?

Losing is part of gambling and we should know this before putting at risk our money unless you're playing to have fun.
It will only trigger the greediness inside of you. It will not bring anything in the first place but it will make you to realize how much you've lost and most likely, you will feel of wanting to earn it back by playing again.
absolutely it will only brings us the bad feeling whenever we think of the losses ,why not instead of thinking losses is we just continue the enjoyment.
Yes and there is no gambler that never experience to lose, everyone should realize that everything we lose is already gone and never been get back.
losing is part of gambling and besides it is more than winning,so if we decide to gamble then we must accept defeat .
That was precise and right on the mark. Gambling is more about losing than winning and no gambler can claim to never come across defeats. It is bigger part of this game. The right way to play gambling is just enjoy the bets and forget the results. Even is a person wins more than losing, still he should never let this make his greedy or develop a thinking that gambling can become an income source.
175  Economy / Economics / Re: The Government-Backed Digital Dollar (USD) on: December 02, 2019, 03:34:57 PM
It is funny and ironic at the same time because i think they really want the majority of the people to support them. It's not bad to support our own government as long as there is no violation in our own security and privacy. But the fact that they want to know everything from you is kind of irritating stalking skills. Bitcoin is still the best choice if you want to have your own bank.

Each government on different country have there own way by having share on the crypto currency world but somehow it makes us so frustrating as they want a share even a single move that we make in crypto currency community. My point is that they will even do something just to have a share like by providing taxes. Well, we have nothing to do about that as long as they will never stop us by being part here in digital world.
Let us just face the truth of the governments, n matter what country it belongs to. All of these authorities want to keep the public and masses their slaves by holding economy in their hands. They are thieves with logic that is you cannot even call them thieves. For instance, taxation is a way to accumulate money with logical reasons while this system has never benefited people in any way. Digital currencies like bitcoin are the escape from this trap.
176  Economy / Exchanges / Re: another crypto exchange hacked on: December 02, 2019, 03:18:43 PM
We have been seeing this kind of accidents from the very beginning that a exchange gets hacked when it reaches a specific amount of money.
Most of it happens when people started to trust and then boom it get hacked.

I do not know why people still trust some exchanges with that much money.
It is the biggest truth of technology world that no system can be hundred percent secure and those that hold high values are the major targets of criminal hackers. Moreover, it is not like the hacker woke up one day, made few clicks and goes down the website or exchange. A lot of days, even months might get spend to make one hack reality. The best is to choose exchanges that take responsibility of such compromises.
177  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is happening to new projects? on: December 01, 2019, 03:47:27 PM
The liquidity of a project is determined by investors, so it's useless even if the project with an interesting concept or new innovation but investors are not interested in the project, then it fails. lately I have seen a lot of projects that did not arrive at the soft cap, this year is very different, 2017 is the culmination of everything. the current trend of the IEO project is like that of the binance exchange, and it also depends on who is analyzing it and who sees it.
Investors determine the success of a project, so when a good project with a mature concept, but if there is less marketing to attract investors, failure will occur. this often happens due to lack of marketing team preparation, problems like this should be used as experience for the project developer to be able to run the project and make it a chance for the success of the new project
With new projects, there are two big challenges. First, they need not to be scam. As most of the market is about frauds so people hesitate trying out new stuff. Second is, providing a feature that is not being offered by existing project. Both need some strong devotion and passion to overcome.
Investors should try those new coins that get listed on famous exchanges and invest in old coins.
178  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you have control or not? on: December 01, 2019, 03:25:38 PM
Can you consciously and willingly stop gambling at any time?
If you can do the above, you have great control and discipline, of course you are not an addict and you deserve to gamble as much as you want.
If not, clarify your ways of stopping gambling.
Stopping gambling completely seems impossible because this has become my daily activity.

I stopped gambling when I lost and my balance increased by 70% of my total deposit, this I have applied for a long time and is consistent every day and this is also my self-control.
If you like playing this game then carry on. No one can shake of a habit within a day. As long as you play while following rules of safety, you wont lose big amounts and never get hurt financially. It appears you are well aware of dangers involved in this game and already play with discipline. If you intend to restrict your playing habit to some number of bets or leave it, this will take some time.
179  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why are you gambling? on: December 01, 2019, 03:08:51 PM
1.Enjoying- How much money does it go to weekly?

To be honest, I can look at those histories and that will all be painted in red so I don't think I am getting any profit so to minimize the money I am using weekly, I slowly reduce the money I am using.

3.Hope for a win- How much did you earn in one day?

As I said, my history is painted in red so I don't usually earn a profit but I do enjoy and continue to hope that I can still win but I think I am so far from that so I just enjoy the game.

Do not lose hope because soon you never know what tomorrow has to bring for you. You are enjoying your games too so there is no need to feel bad or low. As long as the amount on stake is a small one and the time spend on this activity does not hurt other essential activities, you can gamble and enjoy. Moreover, if you switch your casino or game, maybe things change a little bit for you.
180  Economy / Economics / Re: If we can see a country with 'Bitocin standard' monetary system on: December 01, 2019, 02:41:21 PM
To be honest, it won't happen. A country with a bitcoin standard monetary system is impossible since if they will purely rely or depend on bitcoin in their monetary system then a lot of things will fluctuate especially the prices of the basic goods and services that the people need. It might lead to a chaotic scenario where people are complaining on how unstable the market is.

its possible . there are news on the past which claim's to be that bitcoin is like thier daily currency because they use btc more than they use thier own fiat currency  . that happens because they were having a problem financialy or they simply have a problem with thier own currency so they look for alternative's  .

its been a perfect time because bitcoin that time was starting to get popular    .  other country was still on a process tho and seems not ready yet for this kind of idea  .
A considerable number of countries have supported bitcoin and gradually the use of it as a currency will increase. It is just a matter of time before bitcoin becomes the standard at international level. We are moving towards an era of digital currencies where all countries will have their own national coins and their worth will be measured with respect to bitcoin. Same as bitcoin leads the market today.
