They are not so active in the last days in bitcointalk for the first time. This probably means that they have a lot of things to do and if I see the achievements of the last month its hard to believe what they did everything in this short time. So lets wait till they have time to inform us about the extension after mainnet. (and grab some cheap tokens  ) They are more active on Telegram and GitHub. A few days ago they launched the Dusk testnet. I tried to build a node, but ran into some problems. I reported those problems on Telegram which led them to discover some bugs which they fixed overnight and in the weekend. This is very very promising for the future. I can't wait for mainnet to be ready. |

Integration details
The integration will consist of the launch of a new BEP-2 token called DUSK, symbol (DUSK-45E). We are minting 50M BEP-2 tokens and burning 50M ERC-20 tokens, to ensure a steady total supply of 500M Tokens.

Memento was a strange flick. lol. What if they remade it with Arnold Schwarzenegger on an off world colony where instead of losing his memory every 45 seconds, he gets a little back every minute? It would be called...... MemenTotal Recall
Now now, I am not that demented yet. Ha ha! Can you imagine Schwarzenegger, the Governor of California, in a movie? A movie with Schwarzenegger where it comes to rejuvenation ... hmmm, yes. Funny how this thread is becoming to live it's own life. Not much discussion anymore about the project. Kinda normal as we haven't seen any op lately. |

Can anyone give me a summary of the current state of this project? It has been quite a while since I last looked at this and I am sure as heck not going to read back 500 pages.
I think this is one the latest project update coming from the team so far and I'm a little bit excited if they could show some results with schedule below. Couldn't it be possible that DUSK has already silent agreements with projects that are potentially interested in using the DUSK platform? Even though the main net hasn't been released yet. I mean, they probably can't disclose these information.
It's possible. If they were able to show them a demo or an MVP some other projects could have signed a letter of interest. That would be a very interesting answer from the dev team. Looking forward to some more information regarding the mvp. |

The HQ is in Sofia, and the taxes will be paid where the ICO recipe is made ... I agree. Apparently, this takes away from the Team the fiscal responsibilities for performing ICO stating another location, if I am not mistaken. But at some point it is money in whatever kind needs to be declared in the Country of origin, would not this lead to problems?
No there is no tax on ICOs; the taxes are paid where revenues are generated; revenues will mainly be generated through the exchange, so taxes will be paid where the exchange is located. Also, some revenues will be done through the market place and partnership, and this will be directly been taxed in Sofia. I'd like to ask, why did you prefer Sofia for headquarters, i am sorry if you answered this question before i started reviewing this project recently. I can imagine three reasons. first, most of the team members come from there. Second, Bulgaria may be crypto friendly. Third, It is an affordable city to work in if you are a startup that does not have much money. Fourth: there a more decent devs in Eastern Europe than most people think I can second that, i have done blockchain business with some very knowledgeable guys in eastern europe. I believe they are more ingrained in blockchain then western europe is for the moment. |

Yea the minimum cap is at least needed to make the product great, everything after will going fully in the ecosystem and adoption rate. Eventually i think investors get a good deal on both situations.
Reach minimum cap they own more %
Reach max. cap the ecosystem will get more promotion and probably a faster adoption.
But both ways we are going to make a awesome product that can grow for years.
A big hard cap is fine if it completely will be used for the tasks you mentioned. Promotion could be key in 2019. Our funds will be used 100% for the project, we're going to be really open about our financial positions and keep the community updated. The foundation funds will be also based on voting from the community. Good to read that a very seniour member is answering on all the questions. 2019 will be the year that crypto goes very much up or goes totally down.. |

i hope the team will change their mind and release the mvp before the ico with something tangible,that can be proved for sure the investments will be greater...
It's in their own benefit to release something to the people. There are just 2 many failed ICO's out there and people are just not investing anymore without any proof. |

Is the above video presentation related to any Public event in Tel Aviv? The appearances are from a private presentation behind closed doors. Anyway I am happy to see the continuity of the spread, and the commitment in the progress of the Project
is the team from Tel Aviv? I believe the israeli dev/blockchain scene is top notch! Thought Dusk was from the Netherlands though. I also read it a few times that the team has a dutch origin. Maybe it's a combined team, some in the Netherlands some in Isreal. |

This ico is going to last for a very long time and through a good part of 2019, they may be even able to catch the next bull run if they are lucky  With this progress speed, i think they can catch the next bull run definitely hopefully 2019 will be a better year for all of the crypto community. This must be the longest running ICO that i know off. Well let's hope 2019 will be good for all of us. |

Indeed! The crypto markets are getting more mature compared to the previous years and this experiences (market trends in 2018) teaches the entire crypto community a lesson that gradually makes a solid foundation of a more mature crypto verse. I think we should embrace such incidents to make us strong than ever. From what I see , many people already understood that most of utility tokens are actually trash. There is no benefit from holding it and people can just hoping for the price to increase. People buys utility tokens and use it > he project get the token and dump it > price should be back to normal > project get more profit and token holder dont get anything. Only some of serious projects have mechanism to handle that, but the others? I think security tokens can bring a better hope for cryptocurrency and Dusk can take the lead. I agree with the security token story. It's the only way that your investment could turn into something. However with the SEC hunting down ICO's, it's also a difficult story. |
