Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What happened to AllCrypt.com!? All Coins seems to be are Stolen!!!!

AllCrypt has updated its sitedown page with this. Update: Spent the last 16 hours scouring logs. I believe I know what happened and how. I'll post full details as soon as I know more. The site is down, for now, completely, until I can assess the damage done. I'm not even sure there is anything to bring back up. https://www.allcrypt.com/sitedown.htmlThanks for the Update There's now an allcrypt blog post about it. https://www.allcrypt.com/blog/2015/03/what-happened-and-whats-going-on/We may re-open someday. This puts us back months, if not years. Without even that 10.8 BTC to recoup any costs, this is absolutely crushing. So I cannot say. I’ve actually had offers to buy the site. Maybe. I don’t know. This was my baby, and I’d hate to let it go. Anyway, that’s all the news I have for now. I’ll try to post updates about any coin returns, and will be sending emails to those affected when we get those tools in working order. It won’t be a quick process. There’s ton’s of cleanup to be done.

Economy / Speculation / Re: $350 by Sunday

he said nothing about dates.
I think in some sunday from now to the end of times prices will be $350 at least once
His post implies by last Sunday. Predicting that sooner or later Bitcoin will hit 350 is too easy.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: "Ocupy Coin" has a spelling error

Heh of all the things to talk about the coin like it being another BitcoinSachs/Altcointoday/Fuelcoin connected scam, typos are what someone is worried about.
Nah, this is all I'm worried about. But if your project title has a misspelled commonplace word, isn't that indicative of your seriousness in creating this project? It's the first thing people see, before they even see the logo. First impressions count.

You guys think we'll make a short term top around $260?
I was thinking that many people seem to be eager to pick up at sub 200 so if we make new lows, I feel like it should be shortlived and it'll be obvious that it is a bottom. But bottoms are rarely easy to tell which is why I think that we may not see new lows.
Chessnut thinks we will test the bottom again and he got it right this time. ............
I am still bearish longer term, this doesn't change anything.. I think we need to test lows one more time.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Paycoin drops to a few cents on paybase

Did anyone buy? i managed to get 800XPY for 0.50, could of gotten a lot more but im happy. Got to 0.01 cents at one point Well, this is really not good for XPY holders in general if a bunch of people got Coins for that price because all those Coins are going to be sold immediately for a 600% profit. Yup. Huge dumps incoming no doubt I cannot see the price holding up anyway so anyone who gets coins that cheap would be stupid not to dump.

Does anyone know how to officially destroy coins? I'm not sure how to destroy them.
This post from the freebies coin thread may help Any news on the coin destruction video yet or are we still waiting?
Hi, Regarding this issue I would like to discuss with everyone the possibilities before we do something we can't undo. First of all, when anyone issues the command getinfo it will be presented a variable called "moneysupply" which shows the amount of existing coins. Right now it is 501029874.12035203. This information will not be reduced by 175000000 after we destroy the coin. If this is what we are expecting it might be another options, but I sincerely don't think this is required. There are a few ways to make these coins unavailable: 1. Come up with an address that passes the basic sanity checks but is internally invalid. We can know for sure that no key could possibly match this address. 2) Put strings of characters in the address that are way beyond what anyone could generate in a vanity address. For example, if the address has "FreebiesThatWereGoneForever" in it, it's clearly beyond anyone's capability to find a corresponding private key. 3) Use a public key that's obviously made up, such as one that consists only of zero bytes or that contains all consecutive digits of Pi. It's clearly beyond anyone's capability to find a corresponding private key. (For this one to work, we need to disclose the public key.) 4) Use a hash of the public key that's obviously made up. This works the same as the option above, but the difficulty would be in even finding a public key with such a hash, much less finding the corresponding private key.

Votes update: 60654, MEOW has no chance. Our next target is 3rd place. We should take this one step at a time. Meaning if we push to around 75k votes today I think we will be on 3rd place.
As I said before, if there are at least 470 stakeholders, basic math shows in 12 hours we can achieve around 28200 votes. This should definitely push us on 3rd place.
I have sent another detailed email to mintpal. They know about us now and if things get hot enough maybe we'll have a surprise from them. This is in no way sure, but it is a possibility.
Things are getting very interesting for CommunityCoin.
We are almost there, lets get this over with!
We are up to 60712 votes with the five I just made. We only need a few more to put MEOW behind us. Keep voting everyone.
