I love this coin and I love the fact that people won't be able to see how much money you have by checking your address on the blockchain I'm all in and I will support it as much as I can.. fantastic dev.. love it How does it work? Since usually register of transactions is public. I thought people could check how much you had in an address by looking at the blockchain but could not see where you sent it, or where it came from. |

Cryptsy has a similar warning about not depositing freshly mined coins to their wallets. It causes some sort of problem with confirmations besides creating the other problem of countless small deposits.

I'm surprised how well the price is holding up. It stayed the same although bitcoin crashed down a bit recently.

That's really not a con. Ok, let's even assume Dogecoin is mostly for kids, teens and their moms. Why should this demographic be excluded from cryptocurrency, anyway? And what's wrong with "late crypto-miners"? The pop music industry is mostly for teens, but it's worth a fortune. I know plenty of adults still buy it but the proportion of sales to teens mst be massive. Is the doge market so different? |

IPO buyers could vote on the quality of a deliverable and ask the escrow to return their money if the majority think it's shit. At present a dev can deliver any piece of crap and get payment from the escrow just for delivering. Maybe rewriting the escrow rule book might prevent a lot of IPO rip offs.

I noticed a lot of exchanges allow you to deposit small change, but only allow large withdrawals. Does mintpal let you withdraw 20 doge?

You could buy some more worthless coins, add them to your existing ones until you reach the trade-able limit, and then sell the whole lot. However, it seems a rather long way round to do something simple.
