Ok, ik heb geen idee of wat in de OP staat nog steeds waar is maar zo ja, hoe kom ik aan m'n gratis guldens? Cheesy

In order to evade any misunderstanding, here the English version:

Ok, I have no idea if what is stated in the OP is still true but if so, how do I get my free guilders*?

*(Guilder appears to be the English term for Gulden)
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MINT] ~Mintcoin Developer ~ 10 Mil Monthly Bounty w/ 6 Month Contract on: May 16, 2015, 12:52:21 PM
It's one of the core principles of Benjamin Graham: "A stock (crypto) is not just a ticker symbol or an electronic blip; it is an ownership interest (stake) in an actual business (currency), with an underlying value that does not depend on its share price."

I don't care too much for the current price of MINT either since I believe that the coin is one of the very best alternatives for Bitcoin out there. With the right marketing efforts MINT could easily be one of the "big guys" since it is, in my opinion, far superior to many, if not all, of the altcoins out there.

10$ is peanuts, I would donate that easily if it helps this coin forward.

Thanks for the support everyone,  will try a completely fresh installation of the wallet tonight. It would be a shame to have 25m MINT sitting there being completely useless :p

The wallet is in the middle of the minting process (as all my MINT is currently in "staking limbo" so that probably slows things down quite a bit.

Will report back on findings.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MINT] Happy Halloween - Visit Reddit, Twitter, Facebook for Free Mint! on: November 03, 2014, 11:47:40 PM
OK, it didn't go as expected for me either. Exactly the same problem, wallet seems to be in the process of staking but is, even after syncing the blockchain, still completely unresponsive.

Are we the only ones having this problem or are there more people with frozen/unresponsive wallets?

@kakadu: Anything you changed on your pc or wallet that might have caused this or also completely random?

EDIT: After searching, it might have to do with a sudden shut down/crash of the computer while the wallet was open. Still, I'm going to need an answer... anyone?
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MINT] Happy Halloween - Visit Reddit, Twitter, Facebook for Free Mint! on: November 03, 2014, 05:32:15 PM
Ok, so I've got a bit of a problem...

Out of the complete blue, my wallet doesn't work anymore. That is, it does start up. However, as soon as it's showing me the wallet, the entire thing becomes unresponsive.

I haven't changed or done anything with the wallet, I haven't deposited or withdrawn any coins, nothing. Yet, suddenly, the wallet is not responding. I have tried restarting my pc numerous times but it did not help. I decided to go ahead and download the new wallet (I thought that might fix it) but the problem persists. I start it up, it freezes instantly.

Any ideas?
I have the same problem last 4 days.
Other coin walets are ok.

As stated above, the wallet is just syncing. just go to %appdata% (on Windows) --> Roaming --> Mintcoin and see if the blkindex.dat increases in size... It does for me, so there technically isn't any problem.

I'm pretty sure it will work normally after it has synced Smiley
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MINT] Happy Halloween - Visit Reddit, Twitter, Facebook for Free Mint! on: November 03, 2014, 04:55:34 PM
:O

It's true! It is increasing! Thank you so much, guess I was worried over nothing... Still, pretty strange that it never reacted like that before. I'll just download the blockchain up to August manually, should finish a bit quicker that way.

Again, many thanks for the support you both  Grin
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MINT] Happy Halloween - Visit Reddit, Twitter, Facebook for Free Mint! on: November 03, 2014, 04:29:52 PM
Thank you for your reply. I have executed those steps but still no luck.

Tried to use Task Manager to "analyse the waitchain" and it says that "One or more threads of mintcoin-qt.exe are waiting to finish network I/O", not sure if that's related to the freezing...

The weirdest part is that simply nothing changed, this happened completely at random.

Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

devs dropped this coin long ago

An excellent example of either illiteracy or just being too ignorant to read... There has been a totally new developers team for quite a while now and there are many projects ongoing xD

Do all of your 504 posts consist of complete crap or are you just trolling right now? 'Cause then you might be better off at the BTC-E trollbox  Grin
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MINT] Mintcoin Community Podcast Release - October 5th Introducing Minty! on: October 13, 2014, 08:29:46 AM

The nice thing is our developers community is refining itself into a network of dedicated professionals donating their time and expertise into continually fine-tuning not only the technology but the overall business development of the coin.

We are organizing and growing - with that said many of us are long-term holders and will continue to grow the community and build the business structure while the world prepares itself for crypto integration led by Bitcoin.

This is exactly the reason why I am still increasing my MINT holdings every month. I love the feeling of a fresh and professional breeze going through the team right now. There are many exciting projects going on, there is great communication between the dev's and the users, it just feels like everything is now carefully planned and well executed...

Thumbs up for the team and an extra thumb up for you cryptomommy, you have not only taken charge of the project but actually really improved it, took it beyond the world of "imitation-crap-useless currencies" and given me (and I think a lot of others) the feeling that MINT could very well be the next big thing now it is managed properly and professionaly. I personally have gained a lot more trust in the currency since you have stepped in (as well as all the more anonymous other developers!) and I love how MINT is still improving continuesly. Please keep up the good work!

Edit: I would like to start dedicating some of my own time to the greater good as well, just really busy with my internship at the moment... but I will certainly contact you as soon as I got some more free time on my hands, I would love to use some of my skills in marketing and PR to get this coin to the masses!
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MINT] Mintcoin Community Podcast Release - October 5th Introducing Minty! on: October 12, 2014, 03:55:23 AM
Although the superiority over BTC is a fact, pretty much any PoS coin can claim the same. BTC is simply too slow and complicated in daily life to truly become our new global currency.

The only thing that can ever really rise the price of MINT is attracting the attention of both the masses and the big investors. Only then can it ever become a widely accepted currency and thus gain proper value.

In essence, it's all in our own hands...
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MINT] Mintcoin Community Podcast Release - October 5th Introducing Minty! on: October 08, 2014, 01:53:47 AM
I completely agree with you. Besides, MINT worked fine on Mintpal before they started to screw things up... Still would be nice if it came back though.

And thanks for clarifying "daemon", things make a little more sense now  Tongue
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MINT] Mintcoin Community Podcast Release - October 5th Introducing Minty! on: October 07, 2014, 01:02:10 AM
According to a tweet from Moolah, MINT is temporarely offline due to "daemon" issues. They say they have contacted the devs. I have absolutely no idea what a "daemon" issue is but MINT will be back as soon as this is resolved
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MINT] Mintcoin Community Podcast Update Available on: September 14, 2014, 03:36:55 PM
I just want to admit being guilty of the current low price in a small way... I have literally been scooping up millions of Mint at 0.00000002BTC and selling them again at 03. (edit: 2014-09-10 03:45:20   BUY   0.00000002   6547734.42218410  Grin )

However, I do want to point out that I keep at least 10 million Mint in my wallet at all times (just minting away, minting awaaaaay) and this is all done to enlarge my Mint holdings. First I had enough BTC on Mintpal to buy 8 million Mint, now I can buy very, very close to 20 million Mint.

So please, impatient people out there, my buy orders await you at 0.00000002BTC. I need that Mint. I want it. Now. Gimme all your Mints please, and I will ensure they end up in a warm and loving home: My wallet.

Soon I will be minting away with 30 million Mint and everyone who ditched it to me will start crying when the price rises! TO THE MOON!

(Aside from that, I think cryptomommy and the rest of the dev team is doing a great job. A huge turnaround from previous months! I applaud your efforts, and as mentioned above, will continue to soak up those cheap mints like a sponge... It will never fall to 01 as long as I still have a penny left in my pocket. And one day we will be rewarded, this coin has excellent community support as well as very exciting things in the pipeline. It is not if, it is when the price will rise... And yes, I will cry if it is before I have fulfilled my glorious 02 buying orders Tongue )

Keep it up team! <3

This looks good Smiley

Whoa! Great like advertisement in TV Cheesy

If you send it in different languages I can add them as well

Best Regards

Need to add a link to the official website  =)

sorry to dissapoint your trolling and is on if you want to sell your saturncoins at 3 please tell me really i buy them, if you dont answer or sell them to me well, i guess you are just like other people with no real points,...... trying to discredit people and coins becuase the language should make you feel ashamed, cryptocurrencies are for an international community, not just for elitist kind of people like you prove to be, the all reason behind cryptocurrency is to empower the people and we are walking that way so we feel fine Smiley

First of all, you seem to be eager to prove the fact that you are completely retarded. I think I have pointed out that I am not here to troll quite a few times now in perfectly understandable English. If you are for some reason unable to understand that, at least stop spamming it. It is utter bullcrap. I have never trolled or irritated people just for the sake of trolling or irritating and you should probably refrain from referring to your potential clients/users/whatever like that. It is not only childish, it actually looks very sad.

I was just asking what the plans are and if there was any reason to hang on to my SAT. I got my answer. All the crap that followed about trolling has no added value whatsoever.

I am slightly disappointed by getupppp as well, I am pretty sure he promised me an answer, not some smart ass comment on how great the creator of the video is. I guess I can't even rely on my fellow Dutchman to actually be honest to me. Geen probleem verder hoor getupppp, ik zou ook zo reageren als ik geen idee had waar ik mee bezig was en net heel m'n hebben en houden in een crappy coin had gestoken!

Got to say, the ideas and plans actually don't sound to bad. Your attitude however has made me decide to indeed sell off and invest in an other coin.

Why you are still in charge of this thread is beyond me Bitcoines, you seem to actually hate everyone who has something negative to say... And you just made SAT lose yet another user! Cheesy

People are too impatient Smiley

The coins should be bought with the idea that you can hold on to it for more than a 3-4 weeks at a time.

I have been watching different sources and channels - I have this 'inkling' that some people are going to start moving soon. They recognized the potential of SAT (at least going up to 60 satoshi and within top 30 on the coinmarketcap), but the previous waves made it too expensive for them to jump in.

I suspect that they are using this opportunity to gain market control - but now that sell orders have almost dried up, they see little reason to hold back.

Watch and see Grin

Good things always takes a while to happen !!! We also have a young and creative devteam, no old people who still think that a header on a forum
will make the big difference.
We have a team that is different en original and one that will come up with new ideas !!!

ROFL. Just ROFL. Is this seriously someone who is dev/responsible for this coin in any way? It would explain the level of English in this thread I guess xD

Just the fact that you are obviously not able to change the header to something grammatically correct doesn't mean it isn't important.

I also just love the continues stream of fresh, brilliant ideas that your young and creative team is coming up with! Simply mindblowing! So innovative! OMG!

Sorry for my English, i do my best for that and if people can handle it than its there problem.
All people have the right to tell and write, no matter where they come from and who they are.
So i ask you to write your next message in dutch, then i will give my opinion to you !! Smiley Hope we have deal ?

=====

To all non-Dutch forum users, I mainly repeated what I said in previous comments, but now in Dutch. You can remain calm, you have not been talked about or flamed in any way. Wink

So... Are the devs really here? Yeah I read that one comment about a new client "next week", but is anyone still seriously doing something with this coin?

Let's face the facts here: this Rabbit is dying. I mean, 2 Litoshi on Mintpal? That's almost free. I thank the Lord on my bare knees that I didn't buy much.

I guess this coin was exactly what the dev said it was: An experiment. Not a viable, serious currency, just a simple experiment. Nobody is going to use an "experiment" as a currency when there are tons of altcoins out there that not only have an active community and developers but also some sort of professional look or feel to them.

This coin doesn't look or feel professional at all, and the complete lack of interest in it (traders, consumers and developers alike) means it will never take off either.

Actual non-trolling advice: Dump this coin as fast as you can, because I honestly doubt anyone is going to set up a RBBT/DOGE pair so we can trade RBBT for 2 dogetoshi in the future.
