This explains it better. Thanks! Should I increase the fee in my next transactions to avoid these kind of delays? Or how do I determine the fee rate before sending?
What wallet software are you using?

You should be using a wallet that uses dynamic fee estimation. If it doesn't, you should consider switching to a different wallet software. If your wallet does support fee estimation, then you should use it.

I find my wallet's fee estimation quite low, but there's an option to set the mining fee manually.

The absolute fee on your transaction doesn't matter. What matters is the fee rate. The fee rate of your transaction is 107.8 sat/vByte which is okay. However your transaction depends on a transaction that pays a fee rate of 17.7 sat/vByte. This is very low for the current network conditions. Your transaction cannot confirm until this low fee transaction also confirms.

This explains it better. Thanks! Should I increase the fee in my next transactions to avoid these kind of delays? Or how do I determine the fee rate before sending?

Not a single confirmation on a btc transfer for over 8hrs now. Set the fee at 0.0004btc which is considered fair. Is it network congestion or what?
7  Economy / Lending / Re: Interest FREE ETH Loans - Minimum: 1 ETH on: January 03, 2019, 03:09:25 PM
I've been lurking around this forum for quite some time and I see the huge need people have for loans. I just want to help a few guys. Collateral of the same amount is a MUST, preferably in altcoins.

My loans will be interest free for the first 10 people. After that a certain interest rate will apply (to be announced). All loans shall be disbursed in ETH from my wallet: 0xf8ca336c8e91bd20e314c20b2dd4608b9c8b9459

Minimum Loan Amount: 1 ETH
Maximum Amount: 25 ETH
Maximum Repayment Period: 45 days

Request for the loan in this format:

Loan Amount:
Purpose of the Loan:
Repayment Date:
Type of Collateral:
ETH Address:

PS: All loans are disbursed at my own discretion. I reserve the right to turn down your loan request. Collateral will be sold off if you fail to pay up on time and fail to communicate as well.

That's quite a lot of ETH.

By the way, just a friendly advice -
Don't deal with clients with emotion or you will be ripped off. I have lost a lot by landing here. Just because I was good to them.
Without valid collateral, don't give any loan
Since you are a newbie, use an escrow always.

Good luck to you.

Thanks for the advice. I will tread cautiously.

Don't get too excited guys coz btc withdrawals have been blocked on the questionable Exscudo exchange. They are doing this without informing users. Woe unto you if you try to make a withdrawal. Nothing goes through. You can deposit your coins but shock on you when you try to withdraw. I give up!
13  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-06-10] Korean crypto exchange Coinrail loses over $40M in tokens on: June 10, 2018, 07:37:09 PM
That's a huge loss for a not-so-big crypto exchange. Several coins have been frozen as well....meaning these are centralized coins. Examples are: Pundi, NPER and Aston. Let's just hope that the affected users will be compensated. Here's the hacker's ETH wallet. Quite a large amount in there: https://etherscan.io/address/0xdf9191889649c442836ef55de5036a7b694115b6#tokentxns

I like the pic on your site's homepage.  Grin Grin Funny idea as well. Let's see how this goes.
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is Satoshi Nakamoto? on: June 05, 2018, 12:47:10 PM
There's a high probability that the late Hal Finney was Satoshi Nakamoto or part of the group of bitcoin creators. Craig Wright who claims to be Satoshi is definitely a fraud. By the way, Dorian Nakamoto was Hal's neighbour.
