101  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin legal and illegal countries on: February 06, 2019, 07:04:35 PM
I don't know how through the entire information is, but I think you still missed a country among the Bitcoin cancellation countries, North Korea should have appeared in that list. I don't think Bitcoin is allowed in that region.
102  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So I told my banker about bitcoin on: February 06, 2019, 06:58:02 PM
My bankers told me, I need to help them to create an bitcoin wallet and hand it to them, and they’re too busy to learn it and it’s very difficult to use, they don’t believe cash would die, they deal with thousands of clients everyday who need bankers to create banking account for them, and they know a lot of people, despite having a smart phone, are not good enough to use the phone for simple online banking, they are only good enough to make phone calls with a smart phone, they don’t even know how to send texts to friends, they don’t believe their clients are capable to create their own bitcoin wallet and use it as cash, their clients would always come to them for help with their banking problem, and bitcoin didn’t provide any help as friendly as banker, it’s why it would fail to gain their attention. And more shockingly, they’re talking about their clients as young as 20-30s, they’re not gonna learn to use bitcoin, only a handful of very young people are tech savvy enough to use smartphone to their fullest, the rest of them are just like our grandma dealing with smartphone.
Go back and tell your banker that in 2 to 3 years, the number of the young people trooping in to the banking halls simply to open a bank account will greatly diminish. Bitcoin and cryptocurrency are gradually gaining attention worldwide, and soon the smartphones may start creating inbuilt apps to directly support blockchain wallets.
103  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can New Projects compete with the established ones? on: February 03, 2019, 11:51:28 PM
I have not really seen a new project that was able to compete well with the existing ones in 2018. Most of them failed as they were just launched to be sold and cashed out.
104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Predictiing Cryptocurrency price.. Is it possible? on: February 03, 2019, 11:48:39 PM
As you know, the cryptocurrency market can see huge changes in a matter of few minutes, making it very unpredictable. However, there are some fundamental factors which can influence the prices of any cryptocurrency. Prediction of Cryptocurrency future price are base on two factors 1) Historical price trends
(2) Historical volume trends. So,  there can not be a single and concrete prediction of any Cryptocurrency because of the very nature of cryptocurrency.

What is your view about Cryptocurrency price?
No amount of historical data can aid you in predicting the price of cryptocurrencies correctly. Even the so call expert analysts cannot predict it. It is not in control of a single person.
105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Decentralized exchanges the future of 2019? on: February 03, 2019, 11:46:06 PM
Adoption of decentralized exchanges will see an all time high in 2019, cross chain decentralized trading and atomic swaps will start to become the norm Wink

a true decentralized exchange provides many benefits:

  • No need to give up control of your funds
  • Censorship resistant orderbook
  • Impossible to hack
  • No concerns of fake volume and manipulation

This week Binance CEO CZ recommended people store their crypto on reputable exchanges... but what is reputable? If you do not have your private key, well then can you really call it crypto?

What are your thoughts? Will 2019 be the year of DEX?
We already have so many decentralized exchanges and I don't think there is need for more. Some can still be scams. What if the server shuts down from the DEX service providers, you can still loose your funds.
106  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Real Solution to Dumping on: February 03, 2019, 11:43:33 PM
Devs should stop blaming bounty hunters for dumping ,they work hard to promote your projects and they have every right to do what they like with the tokens if this is really what you don't want then

Don't pay bounty hunters in your tokens ,pay them in USD ,USDC or ETHEREUM to avoid dumping your tokens and that will have positive impact on your tokens ,dumping will always happen and if the project is a strong one then it will quickly recover
It will be more difficult for the ICO if they decide to pay with USD. Where will they get that from? They even struggle to raise up to a million dollar from the tokens sales.
107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why many ico launch with ETH ? on: February 03, 2019, 11:40:31 PM
Many ICO launch payment gateway choice ETH. any other crypto coins why not use in ico payment gateway.
I still don't know why everybody is rushing to use ETH. I would have love a situation whereby other platforms are tested such as Waves or NEO.
108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: KYC SHOULD BE STOPPED FOR BOUNTY HUNTERS on: February 03, 2019, 11:38:40 PM
I still wonder why some bounty managers make KYC mandatory despite knowing that people don't want to do it. It really has to stop. There is no need. It should only be for investors.
109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good news from Japan on: February 03, 2019, 10:37:31 PM
We know that Asia is crypto-mad, and this article shows that Japan may well lead the way to mass-adoption through retail payments.

https://cryptomenow.com/why-japan-could-become-first-major-crypto-market-to-see-mainstream-merchant-adoption/
I am quite happy to hear this. I believe with this all those complaining for lack of real usage in of cryptocurrencies will start seeing its practical application at retail stores.
110  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is it ok to lock your bounty for 4 months on: February 03, 2019, 10:34:50 PM
Ok I received my liker coins this month but unfortunately, I would have to wait for 4 months or the month of May before they let me trade their token, do you think this is ok they never mentioned that they are going to lock for 4 months during the bounty period, what's your thoughts on this?

This is their thread
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5061763
I don't see any need for you to complain, or do you plan of dumping the tokens prematurely as soon as you get paid? No ICO will be happy paying tokens to dumpers. You have to help them in sustaining the project by holding some tokens at least. If everyone dumps, the project may crash.
111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mark Zuckerberg talking about blockchain on: February 02, 2019, 11:25:22 PM
It seems like the FB founder has nothing but positive things to say about blockchain technology.

There are rumours going around that he will release a cryptocurrency for use on WhatsApp, but given the privacy and censorship concerns over FB, I can't see many people going for it.

https://cryptomenow.com/mark-zuckerberg-believes-strongly-in-the-power-of-decentralization-and-blockchain/
I disagree with you. The privacy or censorship of Facebook won't stop people from investing heavily in the crypto if at all Zuckerberg decides to float one. The followership  he already enjoys globally and on Facebook will be a huge advantage. Believe me, such ICO won't last 12 hrs to be completely sold out.
112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hunter's Earners on: February 02, 2019, 11:22:01 PM
Hello. Bounty hunters like me, Whay do you think our situation at this year of 2019 Do you think you can earn 1 bitcoin at this year for promoting and joining bounty campaigns? Please Share you experience at this past days. Wink
I am not too sure of the success of bounties in this year 2019. I have even check the several bounty campaigns currently listed and there is no one I am even sure or 80% convinced that the project is legit.
113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why Big Successful ICO Coins Price are sinking? on: February 02, 2019, 11:19:29 PM
What's going on with big successful ICO projects? Big Successful Projects like Pumapay, HDAC, Cryptosolartech, Bankex. Look at their coin price, every coin price is like nothing and their trading volume is too low! Pumapay raised 117 Million USD, but their trading volume less than 2 Million USD and coin price are just ridiculous. HDAC, Such a promising Project it was, but HDAC ico investors are lost their investment, ICO price was 1.25 USD per HDAC Coin and now it's trading with 0.037 USD! Seriously? And the same thing happened with Bankex, Cryptosolartech. But Why? What is the reason behind it?
This is now almost a norm. Most projects this day always end up been traded at far below their ICO price. The mistake is always from the team or start up the trading on listing with a very low price.
114  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good ICOs should be protected from dump on: January 31, 2019, 10:40:50 PM
Dumping can mainly be controlled by the ICO team. They usually have the largest quantities of any particular coin and can dictate the pace of the price. 99% of dumps are caused by the team not investors or bounty hunters.
115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons why ICOs fail on: January 31, 2019, 10:38:17 PM
No matter how much or often we discuss the ICO lapses, we are still going to keep seeing even worse projects coming after the current ones. The number of failed projects today in the crypto world are far more than the successful ones.
116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should ICOs be put to an end? on: January 31, 2019, 10:35:40 PM
It seems to me that there are new projects everyday in this Crypto industry. This has made me to think about the total number of fiat currencies in the world. I got to know that there are about 180 fiat currencies recognized by the UN.  CMC recognizes 2094 cryptocurrencies as at now.  Looking at the difference, do you think it'll help us to compete with fiats?
How does the numerous cryptocurrencies affect the growth of our Crypto industry.
Will putting an end to ICOS do something good in the crypto industry?
On my part, I would support the scaling down of the number of cryptocurrencies in existence. Since it will be unfair to holders to simply ban a particular cryptocurrency, the solution therefore lies in preventing numerous ones for starting up by putting a restriction or making the process of starting a new cryptocurrency difficult.
117  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should We Trust Blockchain ? on: January 29, 2019, 11:55:06 PM
According To expect they always say blockchain can never  be hacked and your information can never be stolen .. But day in day out Hacker are hacking  crypto exchanges to steal people asset , ETH Suspended hard Fork because  of security  reason . HitBTC and Cryptopia are understand maintenance  because of hacker .  Are   they Using block-chain technology  to  deceive Us ?...
The security breaches experienced in those top exchanges is a huge call for concern. Imagine if the blockchain technology is used in a national election voting system and it got hacked, it means the elections will not be credible.
118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is facebook creating their own crypto? on: January 27, 2019, 11:38:07 PM
Heard a rumor that facebook  was thinking about launching their own crypto. What do you guys think about this?

Would also love your feedback on Algebraix. App that keeps your data private and pays you to watch ads. how do you think they will measure up to the advertising giants like facebook and google?
For now I think it is best we treat this news as a rumour until we get an official statement from Facebook or Mark Zuckerberg. But I see the possibility for them too to create their own coin.
119  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to choose bounty? on: January 27, 2019, 11:34:46 PM
Hey guys I have different criterias:
1) ICO rating site
2) Design of the site (if it is too primitive and not unique don’t even pay attention)
3) Social Networks and activity there.
4) Number of subscribers in telegram
5) Team must pass KYC test on ICO Bench
6) Huge partners. For example exchanges
7) Hype
What do you think is this enough, or you recommend to add something?
All what you have listed here are things you may put into consideration before joining any bounty campaign. But I will strongly advise you pay less attention to an ICO rating site.
120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think mining is still fair on: January 27, 2019, 11:11:36 PM
In Q3 2018 market is still a blood bath. A lot of people that involved in crypto losing theirs hopes on a quick moon. ICO market is down. But difficulty of mining is growing up. We need more powerful processors, GPU and so on. Mining was created to give ordinary people get some free coins. Another hand big companies joint into monster to dig more digital gold. Simple person is out of this business. To support a node of ethereum you need more space every month and you get no reward. Do you think its fair enough or we need some new architecture to give mining a new life?
I would say mining is still fair to those who can afford the powerful mining machines and super computers. For those who use just a PC, you are just wasting your time.
