1  Economy / Service Announcements / Official HashCoins response on BTC payments outage on: October 11, 2016, 11:52:25 AM
Dear Crystal11,

It is very understandable that this issue has caused you and many other HashFlare users a lot of frustration.

From our side we apologize for not having made sufficient effort to notify you and other users of the ongoing issue and the lack of status information that caused a certain degree of inconveniece. Our support agents were working hard on processing the large amount of tickets and manually confirming orders by verifying the BTC transactions. This explains the long response times to support requests.

By this time the situation is contained and all affected orders are now activated. System logic has also been optimized to reduce the risk of incorrect communication occuring that caused orders not verifying automatically.

I appreciate that you have mentioned the resolution of the issue here as well.

Thank you for understanding.

Best Regards,
Vitali Pavlov

Irrespective of the rest of the discussion, when the publicly known author of cgminer as the person who wrote the software and driver you're allegedly using says that your screenshot is impossible, the community is in their right to call your claims a scam and you should provide an explanation or provide a public apology and retract your claims.

We publicly apologize for the fact that we have an unresolved issue with WU values in combination of our board and the cgminer. Our developers are dealing with this issue. We changed components on the board leaving cgminer and the driver unchanged since it functions well at that. In fact, all equipment we have shipped came with cgminer based web interface.

Firstly, we are not obliged to prove absolutely anything to you personally. Secondly, you devalue our name and image. And thirdly, if you deem you have superior privileges and rights to disgrase our company publicly, then you should firstly get an official response from us about your claims.

Our company does not involve itself in betting - it is immoral. Please, MrTeal, jimmothy and IYFTech, publish your real names (yes, the same ones that are written in your passports) in this thread and send a scan or photocopy of you ID to info@hashcoins.com, and I am the one who is personally going to show you how our board works, in the court of law. And it may be too late to feel bitter whilst looking at the amount of the claim that you will be charged for defamation, false information and insinuation, which discredited the name of my company. If this request is not followed, then I will no longer respond to any of your claims.

Regards,
Sergei Potapenko.

PS! I'm not going to send boards or prove something to any user at his/her request. Especially when put in conditions including, but not limited to, blackmailing, frightening and putting negative trust in advance and just because. The fact that your status reads "hero" or "legendary" - to me just says that you have a lot of free time and you sit on the forum for a long time and write a lot. But in fact - I do not even know who each of you are! I understand... The Internet, anonymity, etc. But you defame the real name of a real company, and my name in particular. So I repeat: putting forward these claims, insulting, and already having discredited our name in advance, I did not think it necessary to prove you anything. We do not negotiate with blackmailing instigators.

HashCoins has been 1.5 years on the market, and this thread has 17.5/18 pages of comments by strange people who still don't believe the mere existence of this company. However, this hasn't influenced the speed of the company's progress. Just like one year ago - we were, are and will be shipping mining hardware. Building rapport with every single member, be it a hero or a legendary - I don't see any reason for that.

We are sending the miners for dogie according to availability and order schedule. We deem orders as the most important in our business. However, dogie is indeed a famous and reputable member, that is performing an important task: puts together an objective point of view on the equipment on the market.

Regarding the posted screenshot, I will not be able to explain at this time why the values do not coincide, it may be the drivers, the board, cgminer... I will be asking our programmers. However, may I point out that no customers had any complaints to this day. Noone is planning to delete the screenshot, it shows what we have achieved.

Sergei

In order to avoid and resolve such questions, we send our equipment to dogie. Recently we have shipped him an Apollo (you can read his review and specs here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=881295). Next, we will send an Ares. And after the Ares the Zeus is planned to be sent. Generally, dogie's reviews are very thorough, so I hope you will be able to find answers to all your questions there.

I will remove my negative trust once you send a board to dogie and he confirms your numbers.

HF's document mentions 96x4x2 and 422GH/s at nominal 550MHz. GN on our board provides at least 520 GH/s at 550MHz. The screenshot shows what cgminer shows (with original HF driver) and this is what we are providing. The document by HashFast was composed for their equipment and boards and wasn't updated even after Yoli was released that was 2 steps away from discovering the whole potential of Golden Nonce. Even rev 2.1/2.2 of the boards were able, at certain manipulations with cooling and voltage, to reach results that are not documented by HashFast. That is a fact. This chip has a great potential but not everyone can revise and upgrade the board. Your claim is unjustified.

Please contact us directly at info@hashcoins.com. But if you are asking funny questions - we may not respond.

Voltage shown by cgminer equals the maximum value for 1 core. After a board is powered up it takes some time to enter the active mode. The minimum required voltage for the core to operate without errors is selected automatically.
Power consumption stated in the technical specifications was measured for the whole device as a single unit. The testing was performed in normal conditions (16-24 C) during a certain timeframe.

btcguild - scrypt mining? Didnt know they offered it.

Of course not. In this version of the interface are displayed pools for SHA-256 only. For scrypt we are using Ghash and Clevermining - those will be displayed in next version.

Mister Perlover, let's refer to him as the Customer, definitely has ordered 2x Poseidon from us, that is an undisputable fact. The total hashrate of that order was 4.2 TH/s. Taking into account that the order was not completed in the stated timeframe (for reasons everyone is aware of), and, the Poseidon model was discontinued, the Customer was offered a substituion of his order for cloud mining services with increaced hashrate as compensation. This option did not satisfy the Customer. Moreover, the Customer even declined to listen what compensation we are offering and discuss this matter, despite the fact that the total offered hashrate was calculated so that he would be able to return his investment in the shortest time frame and receive profit on top of that.

The Customer has insisted receiving the hardware and we, as a manufacturer of said equipment, decided to accept his terms, and, as an exception recalculated the order along with the compensation. There was an agreed schedule for hardware shipments and we have indeed started shipping according to that schedule, thus fulfilling our obligations in front of the Customer. Our only request to the Customer at the time of the first shipment was not to disclose the personal data. This request was ignored, as you can see here. Futhermore the Customer started publicly accuse us in dishonesty, technically, a scam accusation. Due to this fact, compensation for the Customer in the form of hardware was denied. Instead, the compensation was offered as cloud hashrates, and that offer was also denied by the Customer. The remaining 3.1 TH/s out of 4.2 TH/s of the initial order will be shipped to the Customer until the end of December 2014.

Regarding scam accusations, we would like to stress this again: we are a registered company. You can visit our office to discuss ordering matters or from plain curiosity - we will always happy to welcome our guests. We have gone the extra mile to keep the mining hardware business as transparent as possible, giving out our addresses, phones and identitites. We also have a registered trademark: HashCoins.

A bit of eloquance from my side.
If in a store, a customer or a prospective buyer is behaving inadequately and distrubs the store's business, he is politely asked to leave. And it is deemed normal. So our request to users with this attitude to leave the thread or at the very least stop spreading this online-buffoonery. If you are making scam accusations, please, specify your information, such as name, phone, address, email address, and proof of your claims.

Despite all accusations and difficulties we have been through, we continue working in this business, supply hardware, support and develop the world of cryptotechnologies. We care about each of our customers as much as we care about our business.

HashCoins.

this thread is a joke ... im out

We can use a letter of credit if the order total is over 100k USD

I think on hashfast site they claimed they got 860ish GH per chip. I am not sure what gh/watt ratio it was, or if it was even stable.
http://hashfast.com/the-hashfast-golden-nonce/
They tested up to around 1GHz (~750GH/s poolside most likely) with 1J/GH at the chip. You need to factor in VRM and PSU efficiency (as well as a bit for cooling) on top of that.

We can sell the HDK and BOM of the upgraded Yoli board (which is no longer Yoli) for 100k USD. Shoot us a mail to info@hashcoins.com if that offer is of any interest.
