June 20th Payment Run Completed!

As I am going on holidays abroad next week, this CBX signature program will be suspended for an indefinite period of time, starting now.

CBX is evolving;
we are still testing the Personal Cloud Vault, a new and paying more Vault will be released soon, and some major project developments will be announced soon.

This signature campaing has allowed many new people to find out about CBX, and we made new friends; if you want to get involved in the CBX team with other projects, please let me know! Crypto programmers, video editors, copy writers, Photoshop experts, etc... are always welcome on our team, paid on a per project basis.

Thank you for your support!

Very impressive stance taken by Cryptopia, which will make them earn less money but makes sure they abide by fair market principles: they are delisting Ethereum!!!!!

Let's hear it from Cryptopia:

Quote
Cryptopia believes in immutable blockchain technology, We believe that ETH forking their network to save the failures of a 3rd party software developer sets a dangerous precedent as this will open the floodgates to rollbacks for any other potential fund loss of ETH, Had this been the fault of the ETH network core itself this would not be an issue, but since DAO has nothing to do with the ETH network this action seems to be totally motivated my money and investor pressure, with all this in mind Cryptopia have decided to remove ETH from the site to avoid the upcoming fork and any inevitable future forks to save ICO investors., Please close all open orders and withdraw your ETH BEFORE the hardfork is implemented as we WILL NOT be upgrading to the new hardfork, Thanks

The wind is turning, finally after this tough ICO season, ETH, TheDao have hacking issues (launched too fast), Waves is turning out to be a fiasco, Lisk's staking algorithm (DPoS) is aimed directly at making money for its initial investors... It seems most of these people have implemented 2.0 to line their pockets, and the pockets of their friends.

Perhaps this will push some honest and good traditional Cryptos like CBX. Perhaps CBX has something to learn from this Crypto 2.0 craze though: there might be something in it for CBX to evolve with. More on this soon.

But it seems we'll be having some fork as well right? But our Fork is not as damaging as the ETH one.

The upcoming CBX fork is an evolutive fork, designed to make things better - no transactions are lost. The ETH fork is a rollback - saying: Oups! we made a mistake - let's rollback the blockchain to 1 week ago. Very different situations.

Now we know how computer systems work. Problems happen ... all the time! The question that comes to mind with Ethereum is: how many more times will this be necessary in the future, now that we have opened this taboo possibility? Will my Eth transaction I might make, 1 month from now, get canceled because of another rollback? Scary.

hi
Can you repair these mistakes?
First, a very large consumption of RAM (up to 1GB)
Second, download BlockChain very very very slow

Win8.1 (x64)
CryptoBullion v2.3.4.0

Simple comments
The latest version
When you run a program written logo shows you that the version is 2.3.3

good luck

Hello LBX

I admit the CBX staking algorithm needs too much RAM, we are trying to improve this but so far this is how PoSP works.

Please download the blockchain using the latest official Bootstrap: https://mega.nz/#!mVNmGZBS!bq-rmv4syie5xdJh1bHV_14gZy3Ei_2j3Ms1JFFfKQk

Then install it using this guide: http://forum.cryptobullion.io/index.php?topic=1455.0

Current Version 2.3.4 says "2.3.4" in its splash screen;

Let me know how this works out for you!

DAO might be dead, but ETH will continue but severely tarnished of they do a rollback. VB must be in tears almost

Now is the perfect time for us to do a campaign to push for CBX to people showing how great our PoSP is.

We have a Vault and PoSP update (version 2.4.0) coming down the production line, which will be announced soon. This software adjustment will distribute the tx fees to block winner and Foundation (as per current poll results), it will make sure the 2% promised in the white papers is effectively distributed to CBX network and it will make the CBX change address procedure be safer against loss. This one will require a hard fork.

Maybe this new Vault, which will be even more rewarding while still following the 2% inflation profile will be our opportunity to go viral about PoSP ?  For sure I will ask pedrillo0 to publish text on all 30+ crypto forums we are registered to. Other than that, I am waiting for your suggestions how to best spread the good word... my opinion is the best instrument in crypto is word of mouth. Surely you all have friends who are in crypto - tell them about CBX!

Once people read how CBX is setup, its history, its community, they become sold on it!

In my opinion, CBX belongs to spot like #30 in CoinMarketCap, or close by; and that's just a start - the market sees it otherwise now - let's teach this stubborn market some respect!

Great news then, with hard fork do we need to install a new blockchain or just the new vault will do?

usually its just a matter of installing a new Vault, which will be hardcoded to follow hardfork guidelines after a certain date, so we all have time to update our Vaults before that date.

Help, my wallet won't open. It keeps sayin "CryptoBullion-Qt quit unexpectedly."
It's been like this for the past 3 days Sad

And oh, by the way, where can I vote for that RAWX poll? nvm, I already googled it

Thanks.

Your Vault quits immediately after you launch the application, or does it quit after staking for a little while? If it immediately shuts down I would suspect a corrupt blockchain, and I would reload the blockchain files from the official Bootstrap at the site.
448  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto Bullion (CBX) Android Wallet on: June 16, 2016, 04:48:12 PM
The cbx android mobile vault needs to be dealt with,  there're lots of problems associated with the cbx android mobile vault.

We are aware of the problems and they were passed to the dev who is working on it right now. You might want to send your CBX out of your Mobile Vault before installing the next version, as installing a new one will make you lose your address.
449  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto Bullion (CBX) Signature Campaign on: June 16, 2016, 04:46:14 PM
do you need to download all the block chain data for android as well? if you want to use  the wallet for mobile phone? though I already
Downloaded for desktop, also isn't there any way to raise the payout amount in time?

I believe you don't need to worry about that anymore because there are no complaints here regarding the bootstrap needed in the Android vault. The way I see it, the Android Vault is like your online wallet where the blockchain is not being downloaded but can function as a full wallet minus staking ofcourse since it doesn't have the entire blockchain in the phone.

Yes, because the Android Vault cannot do any staking, it also uses a shared blockchain from a specific official server so no need to download it for the Android Vault.

RAWX poll update: We're now within the top 15. Well done voters Smiley

Yes I entered a few votes as well; sounds like a nice project

so no room? since my current campaign that I don't even know if I'm accepted there or not and I know this campaign is nice in answering
Fast to users, if it's open please let me know so I can start.
Cheers.

Hi ImHash; you will be accepted in this program when you reach "Junior", which is in very few posts and days for you now.

Also, we ask that participants install and synchronize the CBX Vault using the Bootstrap, so signature payments can be made to your PC Vault - not an exchange address.

Here is a quick guide for this: http://forum.cryptobullion.io/index.php?topic=1455.0

Someone beat me as the first 1 who sent 1 CBX to the address. I sent just a few minutes after you post it in, I guess someone saw your post first Smiley

Ever thought of setting up a new thread for this lottery?

Hi Dekker!  I'm just not sure this lotto site alone is worth a whole thread http://lottobullion.com/... maybe when our testing period is over!

Where can i trade my CBX? i tried it to yobit and it doesnt go into my wallet, Where can i trade my CBX?

Yobit has many problems, therefore Yobit is not recommended for any coins at this moment, and support is non-existant.

You can buy CBX mainly at Cryptopia https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/Exchange/?market=CBX_BTC or Cryptomic https://www.cryptomic.com/trade?c=CBX&p=BTC

In an attempt to help Both the CBX developers and shareholders I have a special offer for all CBX holders. In order to get some CBX off the exchanges and out of wallets i am selling digital products, That will only be paid for with CBX.

I will be selling a whole range of entertainment accounts. Netflix, Hulu, Spotify, Direct TV, and many others.
Each account will cost a measly 0.5 CBX, thats less than 10 US cents. If an account is faulty or is closed after less than 1 month i will Give you a brand new account.

So send me a PM and we can start getting CBX on top where it belongs.

Now that's what I am talking about! Products and services bought with CBX

June 13th Payment Run Completed!

Hello again, Bullionaires; I have distributed the weekly reward for people who participate in this signature campaign.

CBX is a good coin with very interesting fundamentals; now with impending BTC halving it seems some CBX holders want to go back to BTC and this is visible in the lower prices we are seeing, lately.  Owning BTC does not give holders any reward, CBX has PoSP staking; be patient friends, we will have our day of glory. It is sad to see people selling at such low prices, but hey, crypto is all about a free economy!

There will not be a reduction in the reward for this week's signature run, enjoy!
458  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto Bullion (CBX) Signature Campaign on: June 13, 2016, 05:17:58 AM
And what happened with PosP-how many days open-wallet and no payments!? Can anyone say anything about this?

PoSP works well and the CBX network is still going strong. To gain everyday with staking you need 150-300 CBX in your Vault; if you have less then you will earn at longer intervals.
459  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: CRYPTO BULLION (CBX) | Powered by PoSP | Est. 2013 on: June 10, 2016, 06:32:38 PM
Accepting the risk of keeping coin on exchanges is part of the exciting adventure of developing a crypto, so let’s stop pretending that we don’t and shouldn’t keep coin on exchanges. I call for all CBX enthusiasts to keep, say, point two of a Bitcoin in buy-support at all times.

I ask that we no longer blithely accept statements about How The Price Is about to Go up by 1000%. One reason is that, IMHO, it’s disrespectful to those who work long and hard behind the scenes. Another is that it’s sloppy thinking, conclusion with forceful argumentation.

Lastly: isn’t our third birthday just days away? Shouldn’t we be counting the sleeps? In case you’re new to cryptos, three years is a big deal. And to celebrate, I ask for a frank discussion of who we are, and where we’re going. Are we a ‘traders’ coin’? Are we fully committed to developing CBX as a currency?

Mark

Yes; CBX's public launch date was June 28th, 2013: three years of circulation is a solid track record in the crypto world - We are always ready to have that frank discussion IMZ; you have creative ideas to develop CBX in a lasting and meaningful manner, let's talk and everyone is invited to pitch in his ideas...

Yobit's CBX wallet has come out of maintenance mode, but be warned that I have a CBX withdraw that is requested and still stuck and unfulfilled.

"Transfer from cold storage" still ongoing at Yobit - this withdraw has been stuck like that for 2 weeks.

So, careful trading with Yobit with any cryptocurrency, that exchange is still not firing on all cylinders
