Hi I had a few DGB from years ago. I got version 6.14.2.0 and got all synced. Now I put my old wallet.dat file into the folder and the rescanning process when the client first loads up is taking ages and still at "1%". Any idea how long this should take and if there is a faster way?
No there is no faster way,it should take apx 24hrs ..but once its synced its lighting fast .... OK no worries thanks for the info! Hopefully the price will go even more in 24 hours! |

Hello, I see that 2.0.0.1 is the newest version. however all the links to that version link to cryptounited.io which is down. Does anyone have a 2.0.0.1 link that isn't down?
Also, I am trying to sync after years of not using this coin, yet I can't get a single block to download even with the current node lists using version 2.0.0.0, is this because I am not using 2.0.0.1?

Thanks for the update bholzer. You guys sounds like you are working very hard - that amazing given you don't even have a premine. Crypsy is very unfortunate, but those guys have been sketchy from their launch. Have you thought about shifting focus to mintpal or something of the like.
Anyways, you have a long term supporter and miner in me.

What I don't understand is why people are buying this coin on poloniex NOW for over the .001 IPO price when they could buy directly from OP for .001... I think I am not understanding something about this coin.

It will be live after block 6499 which is in approximately 16 hours. Coins mined solo won't get accepted after that block has been done. great - thank you. Probably something worth putting in the OP post (or maybe i missed it  ) |

Mandatory wallet update! Kimoto Gravity Well added! Updating is mandatory if you want to stay on the right chain. Mac wallet in progress!
Always remember to backup your wallet.dat .
One quote for every page. is there an ETA for the Mac wallet? Later today. The last one was built by an external source. I'm trying to get a build working myself but boost is giving me problems. So this update is live now? I am not at home now to update my wallet - so are my miners mining forked coins already until I update?
As long as you don't use your old wallet you are fine as the pools will give the coins to the correct blockchain. Just make sure you wipe the old blockchain before using the new wallet after updating. Ok so I am assuming it is live then - I am solo mining FYI |

I actually wish I had a few BTC right now to bust through these walls and get the price manipulators out of the game.
Not everyone who is selling large amounts is a 'price manipulator'. I got in early on vertcoin and was able to grab about 3k vert with only 3mhs hash power. I dumped these when vertcoin first started to get popular and the price was high. I definitely wasn't a 'manipulator.' Just trying to minimize my risk and sell the coins while they had worth. THat might be what you are seeing with these walls - just redistribution of the coins, which is good for the coin. |

+1 on that but: I wont waste my time in a coin that the developers didn't loose 10 minutes typing an original text. I know its an open source project but... c'mon! (I know im repeating)
Well personal choice i guess. I saw some recently who spent a lot of time on logo and marketing and ends up to be a total failure Dopecoin - macrocoin anyone? At least it work  , flawless launch (but eh, i'm not here to fight for him, just saying) Those logos look great, especially the 1st one. OP needs to get on changing his graphics to the ones you made and changing that font back to normal. Those 2 simple changes would make the coin 20x more respectable. |

mining. NO blocks found yet? is there something wrong with this coin? i was also soloing for a bit and didn't find anything. Even this pool finds 0 blocks while the difficulty is low. Whats up? I'm finding blocks no problem. I've just been using the VERT miner though I havn't test that, is vercoin miner ok for ALT? im using vertcoin miner for ALT as is without changing any settings. works fine - found a lot of blocks, although im running at 250khash per r9 290 which is about 50-100 lower than I get when mining vertcoin, probably just have to tweak settings to get the has higher. |
