521  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC price doubled - is halving now priced in? on: June 17, 2016, 09:26:25 PM
The halving price was already set in when the price was 450/500 dollar.
What we see here is more hands at work, because it must have to do with brexit or the chinese coming in.

The market is reacting to multiple things from what I see.

You can see the ETH people are now splitting their funds back to bitcoin which adds this scenario. And market watchers like traders who day trading are watching into purchase orders on the chinese exchange which effects the US market as well.

You can use the chinese market sort of as a buffer to see how well the US exchange will react.
522  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2.5 Years in Bitcoin and still holding. on: June 17, 2016, 09:23:46 PM
Been holding ever since $400 price zone.

But waiting till higher prices to reach to sell obviously, once it gets to $800ish zone I`m ready to sell small amounts cause I feel the price will go down after the sell off for most will do.
523  Economy / Speculation / Re: I'm dumping my bitcoins so you should on: June 17, 2016, 09:21:03 PM
Dumping now is a very very hard decision. The price can and I think eventually will go down. Question is when?
My hope is not for at least 2 weeks, which is why I am holding.

Price may go down after the halving when people will sell their coins at the time of halving, but selling now cannot give higher profits so its better to hold for next few days.

Its a possible scenario, but at the same time it can have a chance to grow even further.

Only because people holding it like almost everyone is, promotes new buyers to come in and this creates even further price points.
524  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Looking for local So Cal residents only on: June 17, 2016, 05:30:31 AM
but his picture had a california state flag and had serious amount of green rep?
J.Socal?

Based on his thread, it doesn't look like he buys bitcoin, and I am not sure about "doing the entire CA region"

Thanks! Yeah it seems like I read that thread long ago wrong lol.

And the 2nd part as well too.. haha. It looks like read the entire thread wrong, I just figure because of the huge thread he would do both, oh wells.
525  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTS] 3 Free Uber Rides For Just $10 on: June 17, 2016, 05:21:27 AM
Just curious on the certain guidelines for these free rides.

Is there a mileage limit?

Edit: Nevermind I got my answer with the random amounts above. The only question I still have is if I use this for 3 codes, wouldnt there be limitations on me using your services on a continued basis or no?

These things dont expired date do they?
526  Economy / Marketplace / Re: where can i invest my 1btc? on: June 17, 2016, 05:07:30 AM
maybe if you invest your BTC disitus gamble I guess it was good enough. but now very much a scam, so if you're not careful it could make the BTC that you have lost, maybe this time you better hold bitcoin you got

One bitcoin is not a huge amount of money but i think that you still should be careful with them and don't invest in risky websites like gambling sites, or loaning sites as they are too risky as you said,  better hold that bitcoin till halving after check the price and sell it on necessary time.

Its a easy profit once halving does come around for 1 btc.

Esp if you got in at $300-400 zone, as it hits close to $800 already thats a whopping pure $400 profit. And a possible buy back for a free coin if it goes back to those averages after this event blows over.
527  Economy / Currency exchange / Looking for local So Cal residents only on: June 17, 2016, 05:01:18 AM
I`m looking for that one guy who served buy/sell for cash. The person did the entire california region including so cal if I remember correctly..

Does anyone know who I`m talking about? I forget his user id or else I wouldnt do this, but his picture had a california state flag and had serious amount of green rep?

528  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best trading places on: June 17, 2016, 04:58:07 AM
I would recommend localbitcoins, but lately people been not wanting to throw certain ads like cash.

Which is what most of us need if we want to cash out esp in bulk. I only found 1 person out of Los Angeles, and I find that absurd everything else is way 30% price discount which I`m not willing to do.

So until you find you ad, I would just hold it out if youre in a similar position like me.
529  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Buy bitcoin using credit card on: June 17, 2016, 04:53:28 AM
Just find an ad on localbitcoins that offers paypal?

It isnt rocket science unless youre not pleased with the rates, but thats the only few options left unless youre with other sites like circle.
530  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What is the best Mining sites online? on: June 17, 2016, 04:48:44 AM
I would say get into hashnests cloud mining, but only if you can get discounted rates to those who are trying to get rid of theirs..

So basically you off load the burden becoming the cash out option for people and you buy in at a way cheaper rate.
531  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: HASHNEST Discussion and Support Thread on: June 17, 2016, 04:47:03 AM
Last time I checked hashnest was a while back.

So please correct me here, but there used to be some sort of buy and sell category for contracts? is this no longer a option or is this under a seperate section I`m not aware of?
532  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Dr-Exchanger Shop >> Buying BTC in Bulks: Paying PayPal/Neteller/Cash Worldwide on: June 17, 2016, 04:37:23 AM
Cash delivery as in through mail correct?

Or is this a local thing.. anyways what are the rates for cash. Been trying to find a solid buyer at normal rates.
533  Economy / Speculation / Re: Sold around 100 BTC few months ago on: June 15, 2016, 08:59:10 PM
Keep in mind I dont think its bad call for op`s view.

He has way more then the average joes in holding so even the sligthest margins of price increase is still good.

But overall view he`s just missing out a small chunk of profits, its better to be safe then sorry for speculating on a price to go up.
534  Economy / Speculation / Re: After halving, what will be the price of Bitcoin in your opinion? on: June 15, 2016, 08:54:45 PM
I heard that this summer there will be a Halving, where the price of Bitcoin will either go up or down.
In your opinion, the Bitcoin will increase or decrease? how much?
The Halving is a good thing or not?

I think the halving can really go both ways, because there might be a huge pump or a huge dump. The huge pump being that the blocks will halve and therefore miners will hang onto their coins instead of selling it, and the dump because of a potential bubble.

So go for whatever you believe in.

I see a small dump happening as a test.

I pretty much assume it`ll go in this order though: prehalving price>halving price sell off small dump > selling more while price holds > creates a panic of the sell off > goes back to the price before the halving.. this from old eyes.

you can tell me if you see it any differently.
535  Economy / Economics / Re: Holdings of gold vs Holdings of btc on: June 15, 2016, 08:50:52 PM
As btc price rises I would sell off and buy gold incase if the btc prices ever were to be slow again..

Cause people fail to notice how long it took to average a $400 zone before the halving zone began which made it go it explode.
536  Economy / Speculation / Re: I have been hodling for 900 days on: June 15, 2016, 08:47:41 PM
I made my first bitcoin purchase exactly 900 days ago @ 648$ / BTC.

Man this has been a great ride..  Grin
Congrats to all the other bagholders that did not give up early !

wow i have to say good job man as many people that wanted to keep their bitcoins for long time lost hope in bitcoins or sold then after few weeks after tiny price rise, but you didn't

but since you bought these bitcoins for 630$ each, this is not the best time to sell them now as price is 650$ only, so you wouldn't get a lot of profit, better wait for larger price

Op`s safe. Anything before the halving is pretty much a increased value after that point.

Which would only mean is how much of a profit difference, which is always a good probem. My guess around 940 days which is after the halving it settles around low $900 marker my guess.
537  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: which bitcoin trading platform is easy and reliable on: June 15, 2016, 08:42:20 PM
Coinbase has a really good exchange and trading application. If you're in the US/CANADA and parts of EUROPE, I highly suggest anyone to use them. Really save yourself some time and headaches.

i don't think any serious trader uses coinbase... have u looked at their books? bitfinex and btc-e are good US sites for fiat and poloniex for alt

Coinbase is sort of a joke in my eyes and I`m in the US.

Only cause they handle stuff things too poor with the customer support side. If they handled things different I would consider it, but I always reside to localbitcoins.

There are times on coinbase that dont fulfill your order or can just cancel your account based on where your coins are going to - which most people encounter.
538  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Help me build the perfect mining setup... on: June 15, 2016, 08:37:18 PM
So here is the situation, I do not pay for power so the amount of power it uses doesn't matter at all to me. My budget is $1000. I would need the full setup powersupplys etc... What is the best mining option I have considering the amount of power the rig will use doesnt matter (maybe theres a cheaper option because it uses alot of power but outputs alot etc... )

Also the miner is going to be next to my bed, so if you could make the noise low that would be great.

I would just skip this route.

And just go with buying bitcoin now, and sell the bitcoin after the halving price blows over and be settled with a free coin if it ever drops back in normal $500 zone minimum.

This is how I see it, but everyone has a different point of view.
539  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC to 5000$ soon on: June 15, 2016, 08:31:50 PM
Yeah $1500 is quiet possible to achieve at this halving or by the end of the year, but $5k is simply impossible to achieve in this year.

Where the hell do you noobs get "impossible" from? Have you not been around during the early bubbles? Bitcoin has broke many "impossible" barriers... $5k/BTC certainly not impossible by any means.

Really? Lets see when it reaches there, its  not impossible for sure but everyone doesn't have that patience to hold it that longer.

Take root of the nature of how exchanges work.

Ignore the bitcoin situation for example. If user A) submits $1,000 worth of buy orders - then it promotes people to hold. Which then translate people to sell less increasing rhe value - and any other misc contributing factors.

Any price is possible - on a temporary level which can promote also natural growth.
540  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Who all knows about the QEG or quantam energy generators on: June 15, 2016, 08:26:47 PM
Never heard of it.

And it wouldnt just effect bitcoins market, it would hit globally on how we use energy consumption lol.

And it would be on the news since its so great almost reducing the energy and would relieve on the costs electricity world wide.
