Just to let everyone know the main commmunity telegram ( https://t.me/singularitynet) is being heavily censored. I joined earlier when the paypal/singularitynet marketplace integration announcement was made to ask relevant questions, as an AGI holder and someone who holds interest in the project. I simply wanted to know where the AGI tokens that would be purchased through paypal would come from. Do they come from the circulating supply or do they come from singularitynet's wallet (tokens they hold and have been introduced to circulation yet). Asking this question got me attacked, and I was accused of 'spamming', was given a 'warning' (1 out of 3). Getting my question answered was harder than getting an answer from a politician, but in the end, it was finally confirmed the supply would not come from the circulating supply. After getting my answer, I went and got distracted with other matters (had a snack) and when I came back to my computer I found out I no longer even have the ability to communicate in the telegram group. The 'volunteer' admin ( https://t.me/singularitynet/516366 / Aderson #A095F Volunteer Osoria @Daimen1) callously censored me for the questions I asked, with no reason given for said censorship. Trying to send coins in Agama wallet but get an error:
"An unknown error occured, if you are sending mined funds, check that you have shielded them to a private address before attempting to send"
WTF???
The rule for coinbases on Verus, Zcash, and a number of other coins with zk-SNARKs, is that you must "shield" your coinbase transactions before you can use them, by sending them entirely to a z-address first, then back to a t-address. the Wallet has a shield all recent coinbases option, but you must make a private address (use legacy until Sapling activates) before you will see the option in the send screen. it is possible to send the entire amount to a z-address manually, but the easiest way to do it is by using the automatic shield coinbase option on the send screen. What is the "the automatic shield coinbase option" on the send screen? There are only 2 options: 1) "Send from the private address". I created private address but there is 0 balance on it. Should I send coins to this address? 2) "Shield all recent coinbase transactions". If I understand correctly, when enabling this option all coins will be send to the private address? For #2, it will only select mature coinbase transactions that must be shielded and leave all other transactions alone. What are the "mature coinbase transactions" that must be shielded? All mined coins must be shielded? Where can I read information about that in details? mature means they have gone through the required confirmations. Yea you just send them to your shielded address and then send them back. |

What happened today was a little more complicated, and DigitalPrice tells me they will upgrade, which will resolve everything later today. Due to one of the pools having a configuration error, combined with a change I had made, there was a pool specific rule that caused the older versions to stop progressing, while all those who upgraded were fine. The exchange hadn't upgraded yet. There was another issue with the pool software that once the network started experiencing these issues with older versions, it caused delays, and the pool software, instead of waiting, started flooding the daemon with block requests. We ended up doing a small, pool specific update, and all pools are fine now, as is the network, though people now need to upgrade to the latest at https://veruscoin.io rather than wait until just before October 28th. The need to upgrade caught the exchange by surprise, and at the end of all analysis, it was my error, so please be upset with me (Mike Toutonghi), if anyone. It would not be fair to blame DigitalPrice. I apologize for your delay and inconvenience. Fair enough. I guess I am being a bit of an alarmist based off of past experiences. Thanks for updates. |

Our experience with them has been quite good. Behind the scenes, they seem to care about getting everything right. It would be nice if they had more volume generally, but I have not heard of anyone in the community having issues with DigitalPrice.io. Technically, the exchange itself works smoothly as well.
OK thanks for the info. Any news on a better exchange? I know it was mentioned that cryptopia was in the works, and the listing fee has already been paid. Any known time frame on this? And according to staking instructions it says 'coinbase' funds must be shielded and unshielded in order to stake. what are 'coinbase funds' ? And does that mean just sending them to a shielded address and then back to an unshielded address? |

I'm confused. Etherparty just posted something about adding our name to a 'wait list' to be the first to find out when rocket launched? Does that mean we aren't getting a release date, but will be notified via email AFTER it is already launched? Please clarify.
Hey there! You will be notified immediately via email, once Rocket is launched. And the price per fuel, as per the most recent AMA, will be sold on the platform for the highest market price which was .43 each? Yes, at whatever was the highest traded market price. Rocket seems complete and the platform has passed security audits with flying colors. And now the team is tying loose ends to prepare for release next month. On top of this, the team has been in constant communications with the community on social media including doing periodic AMAs. FUEL tokens will be used for services that have never been offered before in the crypto space. If anyone is concerned about the price, there is this crazy concept called "getting a job" that will occupy your mind so you aren't refreshing coinmarketcap every 5 minutes.
