181  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Unbelievable Token (UBL) - SCAM - FAKE TEAM on: May 16, 2019, 11:25:27 AM

Anyone can create valid links from those sites. But you didnt check the team - The team is fake.

Did you ask for the "devs" id? passport? any form of identification?

We sent the email to UBL token dev to know more.

And what happens if they reply back saying "we are real"? Are you going to trust them or are you going to trust on the evidence that the OP posted here?

Hello OP, please post image of the plagiarized content making a comparison with the original. Also archive everything and post links here:  whitepaper, website, ANN, etc.. Scammers usually delete the information after caught/exposed.
where to archive: https://archive.is also http://web.archive.org - if something happens with either one of these sites and you are unable to archive, let us know.

They opened a new self-moderated ANN today:  ANN -  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5143477.0 - Archived: https://archive.is/G9TTg

Such as tiny WP and they still plagiarized it.

There are no images of the team. Names are fake - used already in many scams - search forum for "Maria Willium"

Plagiarized Whitepaper - checked up to page 7/10 and it is a copy and paste.

Here are a few images.

186  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Viking Bitcoin - fake team members! on: May 15, 2019, 02:06:46 PM

I thought that scammers were done with Shutterstock and template images. We found 8 scams last year that were using the same images and names. The design and overall looks appear to be from the same person that possibly created the other 8 scams.

this (below) is confusing/doesnt make any sense.

187  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Unbelievable Token (UBL) - SCAM - FAKE TEAM on: May 15, 2019, 01:53:10 PM
Hello OP, this is a very good job!!
Here is an example of why everyone should archive all evidence. (web/wp/etc..)
After exposed they removed the images from their website - but thanks to the archive link, we can still see the images of the team there.

Hello, what is the real name of your team members? You dont have pictures of them in your website, neither a link to a professional profile. Can you provide links, names, pictures, etc?

Hello,

Is your website not finished yet?

Do you have a whitepaper? Can you provide links to your team members professional profile, experiences, etc? I didnt find a link on the website, neither photos, just their names listed. Thanks.

190  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: ethereum-tech.com - SCAM PROJECT -WP plagiarism on: May 14, 2019, 02:51:22 PM

You should be careful calling it a scam. you just pointed plagiarism on page 3-3rd paragraph and more. Just one paragraph is not enough to call a project a scam.  please be specific about "more".
Probably you should consider removing the word "scam" fro your post/thread until you have more evidence.

Come on , the definition of the coin is the same as ETC coin , the just changed the name , is not it evident to say it is scam ?
About more I mean you can check yourself more plagiarism from the same article.
About the format , thank you for your remarks , I will try to work on them in the future

No, it is not evident that it is a scam. If you point out just one paragraph, definitely it is not enough evidence.
You started this scam accusation and it is your obligation to point out enough sources to accuse of scam. Calling a project scam without enough evidence will bring bad reputation for this forum. Dont expect readers of this forum to do the work for you - it is your accusation - finish what you started - search for more evidence, point out more plagiarized pages and content. We are not defending this project. But the fact that 1 paragraph was copied from a scam project doesnt mean the project is a scam. 1 paragraph can be easly fixed/re-written.

We are not a scam.
And we did prepare this project for a long time.
Please look around and wait our project with a patient.
Thank you.

Well, you refused to provide new images of your fake team. We know those images are fake!!!

These guys copied the content or are somehow related to another scam project called MATREXCOIN.

Or it could be from this other one as well.

From their website:

Good job OP.

We will see many more of those quick copy and paste type of plagiarism if the market continues to get better. Scammers dont care, they just want to make quick money and scam all naive people they can while the market is high.

I want to learn

Search google for programs to find plagiarism.

I have removed contents of the thread. What else should I do to avoid red tag?
I m not from the team and have no idea about all this. I apologize for mistake at my part.

Make sure to do your due diligence - before you open a thread, search the forum, check for scam accusations, check the team and whitepaper, etc...
You just opened Bitparadise thread today, there is an accusation against them since March 20th 2019. So, you are not doing your homework.
199  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Trendercoin - Plagiarized whitepaper on: May 11, 2019, 09:20:23 PM
Seems OP of ANN thread doesn't bother to lock thread although you gave warning on the main thread. I have sent PM to OP for locked thread and reply here as well. I really don't want to tag for single mistake if they are not from the team. Lets wait at least 24 hours before tag him/her. Most likely he/she would locked thread if he want.

Good catch OP!

He is not doing his due diligence. He is now promoting Bit-Paradise - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5141925.0 (scam accusation here)
200  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAM - Ulord(UT) FAKE ANN and FAKE Wallet to Spread Malware. on: May 11, 2019, 08:58:38 PM

the OP for that ANN above (V-Dimension) deleted all his post, and opened a new thread here:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5141978.0
https://archive.is/scRz7

That person knows what he is doing - spreading virus/malicious software.
