Are we still on course for the 2.4 release tonight?

Which tell that I did not see any cancel of azure
Heard that from a random guy. I don't see any changes as well, thats why I'm asking. Trollbox, right? "I can neither confirm nor deny details of any operation without the Secretary's approval." Grass your mother, idiot, releasing false information. Its official https://github.com/Azure/azure-quickstart-templates/pull/1476"We are hereby retracting our application for the time being due to disagreement about the cla. I've also notified the cla team via email."

Can we see how many bitcoins are already invested atm, or could you give periodic updates on it?\ Or is it a secret?
There is a total of 9.0593 BTC in Investments! https://www.gamebet.gg/#Invest/Ledger

Yeah. A dumper IS a hardcore seller AND therefore has the Power TO CHANGE the price
They usually dump to buy back at cheaper price, especially the project is very young to make a call. I think it will start at 5x ico price and might drop a little but with projects like this i doubt you see it go below ico price. Cause i know many that already have some btc ready incase it does and whales know that so selling would even be for them a risk. I bought around 10 btc in the ico and i have more then 20 ready incase it drops even below ico price and the fact many will make it only go up from the start. My guess week 1 , 100k week 4, 250k a year 1000k Thats a very optimistic speculation ...

is not true
Someone might be trying to manipulate the market then.

"seems that XEM is cancelling Azure.. they just closed their github request"
Is this true?
That's a pity! Whit MS azure we could easily get more people in touch with NEM. Did they give any reason for closing the request?

What happens if a member post enough to upgrade his/her rank during the ICO? Is there a way to indicate this to the devs or will they check all of the member's results at the end of ICO?
I'd like to know that also. I'm close to hitting SR member, possibly before the end of the campaign. SR and Full member are the same tier, so it wont make any difference for you.

Can you clarify the below please? 2) All members need to post at least 50 posts by the time the ICO ends to be eligible for a reward. This means that members participating today have 9 weeks to meet the criteria, while last week ones have only one week.
Does it mean we have to post at least 50 times in this thread alone?
as I read we need 50 post/week. no? No, 50 posts from registration to the end of ico (9 weeks). Guys, why do you want to flood BTCTalk with useless messages with this policy? It's really annoying to read hundreds of messages like "me too", "great", "to the moon" and such - just because people want to post 50 times during your campaign. Please re-consider. It's kind of unprofessional. I'm here since 2013 and we have 1000s more useless messages today than then... Don't make BTT worse that it deserves. Thank you. Totally agree.Everyday I see pages of replies with no real content and I have stopped reading them all now.

Guide for Verifying your KeysWe are encouraging everyone to validate their keys, so I have created a very simple guide you can follow for verifying the keys. By validating your passphrases you will contribute in making the launch of Lisk smoother. We suggest everyone to verify their generated keys, the more we have verified, the better. Thanks! Joel Validated and ready for show time

So... 150k SAT at opening?
Where did you get that idea from?
|
|
|
Yes!!! "Out of Azure" means a big damage/disadvantage/loss for NEM. Fair competition with other blockchain/platform on Azure is possible only after NEM's landing on Azure.
I see some are for and some are against, while others are indifferent about this Azure thing. Anybody actually looked at the whole reason why MS is doing this? What are the implications of being in this? Just because Ethereum is in it is not a reason. We should think carefully about the eventual consequences of being in it. MS way of profiting from the open source space???

As a non-technical LISK ICO holder I am struggling to understand the voting process. I've read most of these posts and Section B in the handbook and it's not entirely clear. In this thread I see a lot of confusion and questions. Part of the confusion is that the term "vote" is overloaded - seems to define both a measure of support and the act of giving support to a max of 33 delegates. Hence a "vote" can refer to both 0.00000001 Lisk and 1 Lisk.
It would be good if Section B was expanded to further explain 1) the process when a Lisk holder makes a vote (i.e. spends 1 Lisk) and how their holding affects the delegate approvals. If a user makes a vote (spends 1 LISK) all the delegates he voted for receive the number of votes equally to the voters amount of LISK. E.g. if you own 1M LISK he will at the beginning get about 1% approval.
2) when do approvals change and when does the list of active delegates change Every round they change, so about every 17 minutes.
3) when and how uptime changes the active delegate rankings AFAIK the uptime is also updated every 17 minutes. However, the uptime is independent of the delegate rank. Only the amount the approval matters.
In the meantime could someone kindly answer the following: There are two LISK holders: HolderA (10 Lisk) and HolderB (200 Lisk) and 200 Delegates: Delegate1 ... Delegate200. 1) Presumably if HolderA votes for only Delegate1 then Delegate1 gets 1,000,000,000 votes, however, if HolderA votes for Delegate1 and Delegate2 then they both only get 500,000,000 votes? Right now both receive 1,000,000,000 votes.
2) Presumably a holder can vote more than once a delegate round including withdrawing votes? The vote always only has the power of your current LISK balance. You can't vote several times for 1 delegate, unless you remove your vote from him before.
3) Where are the approvals stored? In the blockchain? Yes.
4) Presumably the block forger maintains the active delegate list? What do you mean?
Thanks for the answers. Is much more clear to me now.

NEM/XEM is not there yet so when it appears then its official? Yes, you are right.

the transfer was all done in 2015. and I can see all the details. I am gonna try a withdraw once my wallet is synced up.
If you have other big holdings in cryptsy, I would recommend not withdrawing anything now. If a lawsuit succeeds, then there may be a distinction between users who have got partial coins back and users who got nothing back. Thats my 2 cents and I will wait out and see how the legal proceedings go.

My delegate node is up and running on my local testnet. If anyone wants any help in setting up a node, let me know. Be sure to add me to any voting list! I am testing on my local network. I will be setting up my main delegate node on a VPS in London and running one on my home PC (Kent, UK) But i am not campaigning for votes for this one. I am only having it to help secure the network. Visit my facebook page if your haven't, https://www.facebook.com/lisklondon/info/?tab=page_info, and get in contact with me if your from the UK!! I want to plan some competitions for the start of the first term of the 16/17 year at universities etc. 70% of my node is being locked away into funding DApp development competitions. I have no interest in taking any of it. I have enough LISK from my initial ICO investment and the 30% i am keeping for node maintenance, i am sure in years to come, will be enough. If LISK does get to silly money, i will lower my stake from 30% -10%. I don't want to be earning money being part of the 101. I want to secure the network and fund development. Good luck to everybody, remember to give us a shout if you need any help. Pinkman. So pinkmann is in the series a heavy druguser and drugdealer And there are people chearing up with druguser and drugdealer with a serious mult-million-company, which is working with fintech technology. Fintech, where seriousity and reliability is the key. Lisk good luck! Its a username... I made it in 2014. Sorry that I can't have a bit of fun with it. There seems to be a lot of people interested in campaigning for a node. But i doubt the majority have done as much as me. I have a working node on testnet with 100% uptime (only been 12 hours or so) and have also included some security measures. Mine also isn't for a quick buck. Its dapp competitions and development. I'm probably quite a good person to vote for seeing as where I work I can remote into my node, and when I'm not at work I can do the same. So minus sleep I can always maintain its service and uptime. You can count my vote, pinkmann
