1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: mining electric cost calculator on: April 27, 2019, 05:51:27 PM
This tool would be quite a handy tool looking at the purpose it would server. At least it would help miners estimate their cost in setting up a  mining rig and decide if it would be advisable to go into mining looking at the fact that mining is really not profitable as it used to be especially if you are mining individually.
2  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Will Binance get closed down? on: April 26, 2019, 04:33:05 PM
Binance cryptocurrency exchange really knows exactly that there are definitely US citizens who use their platform for their crypto activities and they would try as much as possible not to violate any of the US laws which may call for sanction and a possible shut down. CZ surely knows what he is doing.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be aware, so many scam coins are around on: April 26, 2019, 03:49:51 PM
That's very true, there are a whole lot of cryptocurrencies that are being marketed with the intention of scamming investors their hard earned money. It's better to stay away from such cryptocurrencies and the only way to do this is to make sure you do a whole lot of background research before investing into any cryptocurrencies.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is BNB the Next Bitcoin? on: April 25, 2019, 10:11:17 PM
No! how on earth would you want to compare Binance coin to bitcoin? Ethereum has been up on the second place but has never gotten to the stage of being at the same price with Bitcoin. I think most people are really hyping binance coin beyond its recognition. Bitcoin is king people and will forever be, no cryptocurrency can usurp the authority of bitcoin.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: LTC or ETH, what good to own now?? on: April 24, 2019, 08:51:32 PM
Litecoin and Ethereum are both great cryptocurrencies to hold but i prefer to hold Ethereum other than Litecoin because ethereum has a very large marketcap  which clearly shows a huge number of investors in Ethereum other than litecoin. Hopefully Ethereum can make it to another all time high when the bull market comes.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm buying alts now on: April 24, 2019, 08:35:27 PM
It's good that you have decided to invest into altcoins when they are cheap but do make sure you invest in cryptocurrencies that have the potential of rising when bitcoin rises and not some shit coin that has no use case in the cryptospace. Investing into such coins would surely be to a detrimental loss.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about Crypto now? on: April 24, 2019, 08:09:19 PM
I am very optimistic about the development and adoption of crypto in the near future and also the rise in the crypto market. Cryptocurrencies are very volatile and could reduce in value at certain point in time but when the crypto market rises most altcoins will rise  with it
8  Economy / Economics / Re: Will Africa be a good place for crypto? on: April 17, 2019, 11:22:42 PM
The introduction of crypto to African countries would further worsen their state of finances as most governments of theirs would find ways and means to jeorpadize the features of the technology just to satisfy their greed. In addition, most african countries have very low literacy rate and one common theme in crypto investments is doing your own research. So how do you expect countries with very low literacy rate to conduct background researches into some activities in crypto.
9  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Invest now? or wait for down turn? on: April 15, 2019, 08:33:31 AM
This is the perfect time to invest and not wait anymore because if you wait any more longer you will definitely miss out on the bull run. I sense the bulls coming but it might take time and you can't definitely predict when it is going to happen so it is best to invest whiles prices are still low. A little piece of advice is to invest an amount you can afford to lose.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / How would the switch to Proof of Stake work for Ethereum? on: April 13, 2019, 06:28:27 AM
I have always preferred the consensus protocol of Proof-of-Stake compared to Proof-of-Work because i believe that true decentralization is achieved on PoS. Just recently the Ethereum Network upgraded to PoS consensus mechanism yet i have not heard about the specific collateral coins that would be required by the network to host a node. I would like to know how they intend to use the PoS as its consensus protocol knowing that currently its supply is not capped yet.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: What coin should I 'mine' with my laptops? on: April 13, 2019, 06:07:48 AM
Mining with laptops is not the best of ideas as you would not be generating anything substantial. Remember you have mining farms all over the world to compete with and all you got is a laptop. Don't waste your time brother you better get into staking some coins or run  a masternode because with those all that matters is to get the required collateral coins needed to run a masternode. o
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Are Mining Still Profit? on: April 13, 2019, 05:57:13 AM
Mining of cryptocurrencies these days is quite difficult and the worst part of it is the current bear market that we are experiencing. Currently looking at the expenses involved in setting up a mining rig and the little coins that you would be generating because of the increased in difficulty and pools of mining across the globe the little coins that you get is not enough money also due to the nature of the market.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Lets be careful on what we are investing on: April 12, 2019, 08:58:24 PM
Indeed we have to be really careful in the projects we put our funds into because most ICOs that are being launched don't have any realisitic roadmap through which it plans to accomplish its vision and goals. It's best to invest into a project that has a product in the crpyto space already.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How is your trading strategy? on: April 12, 2019, 07:55:06 AM
Cryptocurrency trading is something that you really need to have some level of experience before investing your funds in there. If you can't go into all the technicalities of looking at trading graphs and make some predictions based on what you are seeing then it is better to pay into a private trading group. Such private trading groups can give you clear signals that can make you earn profits in the shortest time possible.
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: WHAT HAVE WE DONE TO PROMOTE BITCOIN MASS ADOPTION? on: April 12, 2019, 07:50:40 AM
You are right, sometimes we all sit here and claim to see bitcoin being adopted globally yet we actually don't put any work into our words. If we really want to see bitcoin being used like our fiat currencies then i guess crypto enthusiasts need to put in maximum effort in getting news about bitcoin out there.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why there is so much fuss about decentralized exchanges on: April 12, 2019, 04:36:53 AM
I have traded on quite a couple of decentralized exchanges and I think they are very easy to trade on. Some people also feel safe having their own private keys of their own account when trading other than trusting it into the hands of centralized exchanges that get hacked frequently.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance(BNB) best alt coin ! on: April 11, 2019, 08:54:24 PM
Binance coin is among the altcoins that is doing very great on the crypto market. i have seen it rise from $6 to about $17 now. The rise of binance coin has come as a result of strategic plans such as burning portions of it annually and also reducing trading fees when trading in BNB. I wish upcoming projects would put in such measures.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about Crypto now? on: April 09, 2019, 09:38:22 AM
Yeah i still believe in the rise of the crypto market but i would not advise holding much of altcoins. Invest into bitcoin or ethereum, those are my two sure bets. The future of crypto is very big and i believe that this year would be a great turn up for the crypto market.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Ethereum plans on increasing their TPS. on: April 09, 2019, 09:21:05 AM
This is a great improvement on the Ethereum improvement by the team members but can you please tell us the range of speed that we are talking about here because in as much as you talked about increase in transaction speed you never gave any figure. Can you give us the figures or if possible a range of it would be appreciated.
20  Economy / Economics / Re: 2018 the year of correction? on: April 08, 2019, 07:57:07 AM
2018 was never the year of the crypto market correction because we saw bitcoin dragging down in value with most altcoins following its lead. However, the latter part of the first quarter of 2019 seems to be the correction point. In the mean time bitcoin is now above $5k and things seems to be looking in the right direction for a further increase in value.
