I was talking about Dark.SuchPool.pw, which seemed to have the highest hash power 6 hours ago. Which one is the main pool ?

What's with the difficulty, increased from below 200 to over 275 now...

3.7kh/s seems a bit low on 780 seeing how my GTX 660 gets 3.3 or so @ 1200mhz.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner - a new litecoin mining application [Windows/Linux] on: January 29, 2014, 10:14:53 AM
Anyone having proper startup arguments for GTX 660 with the latest version from github ? I can't seem to hit the same performance as older versions and autotune can't seem to find a sweet spot with the latest Y kernels either.

On older versions I was using :

cudaminer.exe  --algo=scrypt-jane -d 0 -H 2 -C 0 -m 0 -b 32768  -L 3 -l K10x18 -s 120 -o stratum+tcp://yac.coinmine.pl:9088 -O user:pwd

Also, weird thing, I was running same script on my main video card and it was hovering at ~3kh/s . After stopping it and restarting it , I got 2kh/s. No change in frequency or temperatures, what the ...

Getting ~3.4kh/s with a GB GTX 660 OC and ~2.9kh/s with an Asus  GTX 660 (ok, considering that it is holding 3 monitors meanwhile)  Smiley

With  --algo=scrypt-jane -d 0 -H 2 -C 0 -m 0 -b 32768 -L 3 -l K10x18 -s 120 I am getting better numbers now, thanks a lot bathrobehero Smiley

I will try to tune the other card as well, since I kinda need those monitors and some of the memory is not available there. Also, I have to play with a bit of OC as well. Tomorrow I get a new case, we'll see how that performs.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner - a new litecoin mining application [Windows/Linux] on: January 23, 2014, 07:40:32 PM
I will give it a try, thank you. The funny thing is, I have 2 GTX 660 : a Gigabyte 660 OC and an Asus GTX 660. The Gigabyte one has no issues if I mess up and give it wrong flags. It errors out on cudaminer but once I start it again , it goes to full 3D speed. Asus however... It's true that it holds 4 displays, so it might make a difference, I don't know. If I give them correct parameters however I have no issues.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner - a new litecoin mining application [Windows/Linux] on: January 23, 2014, 06:19:40 PM
One of my GTX 660 cards is misbehaving when I mess up the -l Kx parameter and remains in 2d clocks mode until I restart the entire PC , gah. If I do the same on the other one, it reverts back to full 3D speed with no problems..

Anyone with a similar card willing to share their running config ? On Yac I use :

cudaminer.exe  --algo=scrypt-jane -d 1 -L 2 -l K60x2  -o stratum+tcp://yac.coinmine.pl:9088 -O user:pwd

and I get ~2.8kh/s.

I haven't tried other coins, maybe someone has a suggestion for doge and a pool as well ? Thanks in advance.

Can anyone share the command line used to run cudaminer for the latest version ? I have two GTX 660 and I want to make sure I run it properly. I compiled the latest version from github.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner - a new litecoin mining application [Windows/Linux] on: January 22, 2014, 01:01:17 PM

You forgot an -L 2 there.

The -L is not yet rolled into the kernel launch configurations. This is intended, but not done yet.

Later on the launch config might look like this instead -K59x2/2. Then the only use for passing -L would be to tell autotune about the intended Lookup gap.

Gah, that was stupid Smiley Thank you, working fine now, no more annoying autotune.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner - a new litecoin mining application [Windows/Linux] on: January 22, 2014, 10:25:18 AM
Hi Christian,

Any idea why the cudaminer fails when I run it with -l parameter ? If I let it autotune with -L 2 and I see what value it select and try to start it again manually using that value, I get loads of errors :

[2014-01-22 12:22:34] GPU #1: cudaError 4 (unspecified launch failure) calling 'cudaEventRecord(context_serialize[stream][thr_id], context_streams[stream][thr_id])' (C:/__test/CudaMiner-master/salsa_kernel.cu line 820)
[2014-01-22 12:22:34] GPU #1: cudaError 4 (unspecified launch failure) calling 'cudaMemcpyAsync(X, context_odata[stream][thr_id], mem_size, cudaMemcpyDeviceToHost, context_streams[stream][thr_id])' (C:/__test/CudaMiner-master/salsa_kernel.cu line 852)

 I used :

cudaminer.exe  --algo=scrypt-jane -d 1 -l K59x2  -H 0 -o stratum+tcp://yac.coinmine.pl:9088 -O user:pwd

With :

cudaminer.exe  --algo=scrypt-jane -d 1 -l K59x1  -H 0 -o stratum+tcp://yac.coinmine.pl:9088 -O user:pwd

it works, but ofc it is way too slow.

 And with :

cudaminer.exe  --algo=scrypt-jane -d 1 -L 2  -H 0 -o stratum+tcp://yac.coinmine.pl:9088 -O user:pwd

it works, but sometimes it doesn't select the best performance, plus it takes quite a long time to autotune.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner - a new litecoin mining application [Windows/Linux] on: January 21, 2014, 02:32:32 PM
I disabled SLI on mine, it was behaving weird with it. I get roughly ~2.6/2.7 per GTX 660 card now. I can't specify a decent -l number though, it errors out every time I do it. It only works with -L 2.

Am I missing something obvious here ? If I let it autotune, it's best is around K59x2 (GTX 660).

If I try to specify that manually :

cudaminer.exe  --algo=scrypt-jane -d 1 -l K59x2  -H 0 -o stratum+tcp://yac.coinmine.pl:9088 -O user:pwd

I've used the latest code , building in Release x64.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner - a new litecoin mining application [Windows/Linux] on: January 20, 2014, 10:47:33 AM
I think Christian meant that the performance / price/ power consumption ratio is better for gtx 660 ti. He is getting more than 5kh/s on his 780 but seeing how a much cheaper 660 ti gets close to that... I am getting ~5.5kh/s on my GTX 660 SLI as well.

Talking about YAC, any idea what's up with that ? http://yac.coinmine.pl/ - does everyone else get such a high number of unconfirmed ?

YAC Account Balance

Unconfirmed   65.638856

Anyone having issues with the YAC wallet ? Mine crashes as soon as I start it on windows 7 64 bit...
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner - a new litecoin mining application [Windows/Linux] on: January 19, 2014, 03:51:41 PM
It seems that running -L 2 it was set to K59x2, which was netting almost 3khash/s.

 If I try to specify however -l K59x2 I get errors :

[2014-01-19 17:49:25] GPU #1: cudaError 4 (unspecified launch failure) calling ' cudaStreamSynchronize(context_streams[1][thr_id])' (C:/__test/CudaMiner-master/s alsa_kernel.cu line 164)

I tried with different values and I get the same error. It only works if I don't use the -l flag.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner - a new litecoin mining application [Windows/Linux] on: January 19, 2014, 03:21:25 PM
One card is running with K59x1, the other one with K29x2, both set by autotune. 1.7 / 1.6 seems a bit low though.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner - a new litecoin mining application [Windows/Linux] on: January 19, 2014, 03:10:47 PM
I managed to compile mine on x86 and ran it on my two GTX660 using :

cudaminer.exe  --algo=scrypt-jane -d 0  -H 0 -o stratum+tcp://yac.coinmine.pl:9088 -O user:pwd
cudaminer.exe  --algo=scrypt-jane -d 1  -H 0 -o stratum+tcp://yac.coinmine.pl:9088 -O user:pwd

That version crashes for me. I compiled my own as well on x86 and after 30 secs or so, it crashes too . No error messages when building , loads of warnings though.
