5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bnb is cheaper faster then eth and btc on: December 19, 2020, 11:43:03 PM
The idea of "centralized" currency in BNB is what keeps it from being second rank coin, not that it may never become one, it could become one, but that centralized situation makes it not ranked higher so far. Obviously it is not centralized in blockchain itself exactly, but binance does whatever it wants with it, which makes it look like it is centralized, and even though it has HUGE usecase and it is definitely more profitable than almost anything else, it also creates a situation where people are not sure if they want to invest into something with so much usecase that could go high constantly this way, or will it crash one day because of it. Hence why it is ranked high, but not highest. Being cheaper and faster doesn't make any sense when you put centralization in topic.

We have previously seen how Binance returned 800 BNB to a user who sent coins to the wrong address. Morally speaking, this is the right decision. But from the point of view of blockchain technology - this is a gross violation and confirms the fact that the BNB coin is completely centralized.

People usually do not pay attention to such opportunities in centralized coins. That's when it negatively affects their freedom of movement of money, or they suffer because of controversial decisions regarding centralized coins, that's when they will remember your words and many other people who warned about the dangers of centralized coins.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about DeFi? on: December 19, 2020, 11:29:42 PM
Of course, as soon as Bitcoin begins to confidently lose its price, another "altcoin spring" will begin. Some of the money from Bitcoin will flow into altcoins. however, it is far from a fact that the money will return back to those DeFi coins from which they left before. Most likely, these will be new coins or well-known altcoins from the top 20 list of coinmarketcap.

the chance of returning to defi tokens is low because most of them already exited with their money. as you can see, only few are serious in implementing their project as defi platforms. how many of these defi tokens have real usage? guess, only very few of them. and those few, you need to follow closely as they may re-route their path. if they see that the community is not engaging anymore, they may abandon their project as well.
what im saying here, is that DeFi mission is great but only few can realise their mission and totally be committed in achieving their goals as DeFi.

We have already experienced similar situations in 2017 during the ICO investment boom, and then in 2019 during the IEO. Now the situation is similar with DEFI projects. Most of them worked out their goal-brought a momentary profit and now these projects are not needed by anyone. Therefore, indeed, the bulk of the DeFi coins that have fallen in price will never grow again.

Oilacris, FontSeli

I think there is another strong motive for conducting an in-depth study of the "correctness" of the bets and the mechanism of the casino in general. If you find any bugs/something important you can get paid by the casino by providing this information to them, or you can use it in the game to gain an advantage against the casino.

You will probably be paid only if the bug is critical enough or if the casino is conducting a bug search campaign at this moment, otherwise you will just be told "thank you". If I found a bug, I would not use it for the purpose of my own enrichment. This is fraught with the ban of the account and the blocking of all funds, as well as possible criminal prosecution. I believe that it is better to inform the site owners about the found bug.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: the most important thing in the development of a project? on: December 19, 2020, 10:47:19 PM
In a project everything must be prepared.

1. The team is experienced in technology so their concept will be good if it is experienced.

In fact, everything on your list is important for the successful development of a new project. However, if I have to choose one thing, then of course i will choose the first item. For investors, it is much more important that project developers have successful experience in creating other projects. It is in such projects that they most successfully invest and as a result get a good profit.
9  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What sites offer FREE Plays, FREE Spins, Free Bets - Lets make a list on: December 19, 2020, 10:33:18 PM
Perhaps someone has already mentioned it before. So my words will confirm this. On the website https://blackjack.fun/ you can play blackjack using chips "FUN" that gives the website for free. I sometimes play this game to kill time and i haven't run out of chips in many hours of playing (I probably win more often than i lose).
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Beware of fake Telegram groups on: December 19, 2020, 10:10:14 PM
Scammers have now gone advance and using all means to perpetrate their actions. A few days ago I saw myself in some fake groups of real crypto projects while they are claiming to do giveaway for partnership reasons, Christmas seasons and so on. One thing that made me aware was that report spam was placed on the group which was unusual immediately I opened it and went to check for their original groups and it was different. I saw many giving testimonies of having received the claimed giveaway offers which I am sure it's a game from their co-scammers. An innocent individual might fall for it. Please let's beware and take cautions, report any fake group that you find yourself in as spam.

You should try not to publish the addresses of your social networks and messengers, because then scammers find them in the public domain and start making mass mailings with various "favorable offers". If it has already happened that scammers write to you quite often, then it is worth remembering that no one will ever write first in order to give you money. They are the first to write when they want to take over your funds by deception.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about DeFi? on: December 19, 2020, 09:47:01 PM
trends Defi will pass if new trends emerge in this industry. Likewise, investors will certainly make the best possible use of the Defi project of their choice, I personally will not hold the Defi coin for too long. because there have been many cases of defi coins that have dropped drastically from day to day, say like ETGF etc.

Very many DeFi have lost up to 80% of their value in their price. It is possible that at the last rally of bitcoin, these projects will start to grow in price again. But it's only a small chance that their price can recover to the level we saw in the summer.

12  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Blocked funds in a poker room on: December 19, 2020, 07:04:28 PM

I had to reread their whole conversation to understand the other side. IsaacOlmos is stirring this whole deal to an issue about VPN but that's not what the casino is really saying. I already said in my previous post that the casino must have some tools that unmasked the real location of the player and they found out he shouldn't be playing there.

What tools can a poker room have that will allow it to determine whether a person uses a VPN or not? The site can find out what language is selected as the main language and what time zone is installed on your computer. However, all these are indirect signs that can't accurately say that a person is physically in another territory. In this case, the KYC procedure would be perfectly suitable, during which only citizens from permitted countries would be allowed to register, but this could alienate many players from playing on this site.
13  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you rely on the odds when placing bets? on: December 19, 2020, 06:40:37 PM
If it was so easy to make the right decision, then people would constantly win, which would make the bookmaker business unprofitable.  Wink It is because of all the difficulties with predicting the team that will win that the bookmaker business is booming. However, there are many people who have been betting on certain sports for a long period of time and their winning history will be very profitable.
We have to know the specifics of which team to bet on, usually we only rely on big teams to bet, but for other sports lovers, of course this will be a difficult bet to predict because inaccuracy will make bets disappear, so I think this is still a good opportunity. great as long as we know which team makes you move on this bet.
I am a football lover so I will continue to analyze in every match, of course it can also help you in making bets with its advantages, but I think this needs a bigger evaluation because bets are still unpredictable.

If we all analyzed every match we want to bet on, we would be much more accurate in our bets. Most people bet primarily on the favorites in the match and earn quite a bit because of the small odds. I can only analyze the matches of my favorite team from the Belarusian championship. I try not to bet on the rest of the matches.
14  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The biggest 10 countries that gamble the most. on: December 19, 2020, 06:17:33 PM
~snip~

It seems to me that governments need first of all to raise the standard of living of the population in the country, so that people do not rely on gambling as the only way to get rich. Then fewer citizens will gamble for the purpose of earning money. Governments should also create special zones where you can build a casino and control it. Here are the initial steps that should reduce the number of playing citizens.

Yes, I agree with that. The income from gambling can be additional income for the government, so gambling is not the main income for their economy. The people themselves need to realize that gambling is just for fun, to enjoy the game, and to kill the free time. The government can regulate the casino and make new rules for people who want to play gambling, and people need to obey.

Casinos can also act as centers of attraction for tourists, thanks to which related businesses, such as hotels, restaurants, the sector of various services, air transportation, and so on, make a profit.
We can clearly see this from the profit statistics of such gambling centers as Macau and Las Vegas. Initially, only casinos were created there, which began to attract millions of tourists a year, which gave a huge boost to the development of related businesses.
15  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you rely on the odds when placing bets? on: December 19, 2020, 10:32:08 AM
In the past, I used to look at the history of previous games between teams over the past few years. I also watched how much their team lineups have changed. Their places in the rating.
However, now it is much more important to look at the reports on the health of the teams, whether any of the important players are ill and whether they are suspended from the game. You need to study a lot of information before making a bet.

I also look at the history of previous games, but sometimes, I make a wrong selection of the team. Sometimes, the rating can change without us know, so that makes the wrong decision for us. In this pandemic, searching for the reports of every player or team who will match is another factor that can help us to know which team has a good performance. It is not easy to collect information about each team, especially when both teams have the same chance to win.

16  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you verify every bet as a gambler? Provably Fair Guide. on: December 18, 2020, 11:54:53 PM
I think many gamblers check bets not because they don't trust the casino in which they play, but out of simple interest. Tool check plus it is possible to check some statistical indicators. In addition, it is useful to make a check, since a casino can make a mistake not out of bad intentions, but by accident, for example, many casinos used RNG with various flaws before. If you constantly check the bets, then it is possible that some new errors that have not yet been corrected will be discovered.

People tend to doubt and subject everything to close scrutiny. They want to check how honestly their game was played first of all when they lose. Many people may think that if they find errors when checking, they will be able to get their money back.
If a person plays often and many times, then it is unlikely that he will check every game. Perhaps he will only do this at the beginning to make sure that the gambling site is honest.
17  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The biggest 10 countries that gamble the most. on: December 18, 2020, 11:30:25 PM
Of course, we can't shift the blame for the loss of money due to losing in gambling to other people. However, it is worth remembering that if in the country people has very small salaries and casinos are located in easy access, then this pushes they  to try their luck and try to earn a lot of money on gambling to improve their lives..
As a rule, when people have a normal income, they go to the casino from time to time to tickle their nerves.

The sole responsibility of a gamblers lose were definitely should be blame on the gamblers itself. Knowing some casino built in a third world developing countries and as a human, people may get attract to try their luck if they get the informatiob that earning a high profit was possible in gambling they this opportunity will be considered. Government were allowing this kind of business to operate inside their country hoping that this can help to the betterment of the country and its people

A well-developed industry, modern agriculture, a developed service market and a large number of small businesses in all areas can improve people's lives, but not casinos.

The list doesn't count the countries with rampant illegal gambling activities. But really an irony here, gambling is illegal in China but if you will check the owners of big casinos, they are owned by Chinese, not in their homeland but in other countries. So wondering why the Chinese government just make it legal so they can get money out of it?

Of course, countries with a large number of illegal casinos cannot be included in the list specified by the OP. After all, illegal casinos do not pay taxes and do not provide declarations about the money earned. Therefore, there is no way to find out about the money they earned to include them in the comparison.
18  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🔻 List of Casinos and Sportbooks to Avoid on: December 18, 2020, 10:39:12 PM
You have a good selection of gambling sites where people should not register.
However, I found a slight inaccuracy:

5. 1xbet Many Scam Accussations, Negative feedback, locking users funds

After following the links you provided, I saw that the name of the gambling site is slightly different. It should be written correctly as: 1XBIT
If this site has several names, it seems to me that you should specify them all.
If he coukd put up a link instead to these sites, even if they were taken down by their owners it would be much better, this way even if he makes a slight incorrection, SEO will take care of it and would route him to the site to be avoided. Nonetheless, the list is already comprehensive in and of itself but due to the bitcoin season, we may see this list get longer from time to time as new scam and shitty gambling sites arise from thin air.

Maybe in general, then no one should write about fraudulent sites so as not to increase their SEO citation index?
On the contrary, the more often we mention these sites with the indication that they are scammers, the more likely that people who will search for information about these sites will also find our forum and read that these sites deceive people. So I don't see anything wrong with specifying additional domain names for scam sites. After all, they are constantly creating new domains in an attempt to avoid charges.

Losses in gamble cant really be blamed off into others yet its your money and its your own decision that you had made.

Of course, we can't shift the blame for the loss of money due to losing in gambling to other people. Do you guys know which levers I have to put pressure on them and get my money back ? I'm getting exhausted about their tardiness and I feel I have no power to make them since everything is so opaque.

Thanks a lot Wink

Why don't you want to publicly name this poker room? This could help other people not get into the same situation as you. Is it written in their terms that you can't bring disputes to the public?
They already said that you need to create a topic in the scam accusations but there you will have to specify the name of their site.
he already revealed the Site name mate and this is what the gambling site is..

This site was mentioned by Kelvinid, but not by IsaacOlmos. And I didn't see the OP confirm his words. It would be much better if the OP himself wrote the name of the site. Perhaps this is a formality, but it is the victim who should name the culprit, and not those who somehow guessed what poker site the OP was talking about.
