Monero CEO?

JW, Congrats on the win!

I was concerned that FitzMagic would get pulled and meant to swap him out but didn't get to it in time. I didn't find out until sunday morning that he was on such a short leash after putting up such great numbers. That and I wimped out and benched My Rams Wide outs because I expected the Vikings D to bounce back like big boys and not turn into the little girlies they stayed! Well those are my excuses and I'm sticking to them!

And your teams just smoked up the field, great match. Smiley

And another one! I can almost taste that sweet, sweet Barolo now. Tongue

Just kidding, I was not digging my team to start the year - can Newton and no good rbs, but automagic drafting working out again so far this year (I'm also in Vertcoin league where auto drafting not working out so well, 2-3 so far).

Speaking of which @Jwintern, did you ever get the node running on that Orange?

Nah, but there are builds for raspberry pi so I think it should certainly be possible to keep up to date with a little arm chip at this point.
525  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Wownero - Such privacy! Many coins! Wow! on: October 08, 2018, 04:40:48 AM
Wow I find Wownero very interesting.  Smiley  And since this coin's algorithm is cryptonight, I want to mine this too. So now I need a wallet. Where can I download the wallet for Wownero?

You're gonna need to build from source right at this moment:
https://github.com/wownero/wownero

Or you can grab android wallet on play store:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.wownero.wownerujo&hl=en_US

I updated (git pull) and performed git checkout v0.3.0.0 and when i execute git status, it shows head detached at v.0.3.0.0, and binaries are dated today, but when i type version on the wownerod status screen, it still shows Busty Brazzers' (v0.2.0.0-master-7859424, hope it's just a label thingy...

It seems to have synced to the latest block height per the wownero blockexplorer and v9 shows up on the status.

I had the same issue. Apparently you need to do a fresh clone to get the version message to update, but yea, it's just a label thingy and not a real issue.

Forgot to cross out windows binaries in ANN. New windows bins should be up in a day or so. Sorry for confusion.

From what I recall, yes the whole network basically has to agree who the witnesses are. You can change your witness list, but only by one entry from "the list", I think if you're more than one of your just ignored.

Monero, the most prominent privacy coin which has been in the news because of its gaining acceptance.Monero has the capacity to bounce back in the short term trend than many other altcoins out there.

Monero is becoming more hot coin it has more secure features as compare with any other privacy related coin. I alos agreed with you it has more high chance to explode. It has more demand and it is increasing so that in future we will see this at more big value.

Monero hasn't had much competition in the privacy space, a few scam coins and zcash (which isn't hardly used for anon tx anyway), but the PIRATE is different, it is a real alternative - default privacy secured by bitcoin - and the launch has been community based and fair, afaik jl777 is NOT the person who created it, he just added delayed PoW when they forked to improve the coin emission.

If it uses the same setup parameters as zcash then the privacy is still in question, even if all transactions are shielded:
https://twitter.com/peterktodd/status/1045210959407706112?s=19

Also, I'll just assume they "forked to improve emission" after they instamined the fuck out of it.

Bruh, it's fucking scams all the way down, starting from NXT. I don't give a fuck how many times they swapped shit that was controlled by two folks to some other shit that is controlled by two folks. Thanks for polluting the thread.
533  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero - A secure, private, untraceable cryptocurrency on: September 27, 2018, 09:55:09 PM
The only pirate that should be mentioned here:

Seriously, anything jl777 touches is by default a scam. Fuck off with your bullshit.

Wownero listed on CoinGecko https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/wownero

Top 2000 here we come Cheesy

Downloaded and installed wownero-gui-win-busty-brazzers.zip but unable to create a new wallet. I'm able to go past "seed" generation but as soon as I start to type something on the first password field, it bombs out. There's no problem typing something on the second password field though.

There's also wownerujo on Google play store that seems to work ok.

Also, hard fork coming up soon on Oct 6ish. Stay tuned...

537  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BYTEBALL: Totally new consensus algorithm + private untraceable payments on: September 21, 2018, 04:45:30 PM
Today is a good day for altcoins with considerable rises.
However, I won't sell any bytes because I have strong belief on Byteball team.
The project can moving higher, much higher.

Dude, byteball is down versus BTC.

And since meterse deleted my comment from the ico thread I'll repeat it here: with daily volume of 8 BTC across all exchanges you couldn't run an ico for a lemonade stand. It's a joke to promote byteball as an alternative ico platform (whatever you think of ico offerings in general) when you can round down the trading volume to zero.

Just noticed I'm in first place, wut wut  Shocked

What does "waiver" and "moves" mean in far right column of league overview? Are you only allowed to pick up scrap heap players so many times during the season?

The guy who basically is this project has only posted about Vertcoin for the last three months in Reddit:
https://www.reddit.com/user/nzsquirrell/overview

Maybe he's got some secret shit cooking up in the lab, but yea, between this, that, and dead GitHub it doesn't look too promising.
540  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Vertcoin [VTC][ANN] Segwit Activated | ASIC Resistant Decentralized GPU Mining on: September 15, 2018, 09:41:04 PM
I wonder whether the developers will change the algorithm or all the same will be a coin for ASIC

I'd treat it as fake and a scam for time being. Never heard of them and they misspelled Baikal on their website.
I do not think that the scam
